[KhaamaPress] Sources in Balkh province say that the driver of Mohammad Ishaq Rahgozar, Balkh Governor, was killed by unknown button men Monday morning.
Adel Shah, the front man for the Balkh Police Headquarters, confirmed to Khaama Press that unknown men had killed the driver of the governor of the province in the fourth district of Mazar-e-Sharif at around 7:30 am Monday.
According to Adel, the victim was named Farhad and was killed by unknown button men on his way to work.
Balkh Police front man said an investigation has been launched in regards to the incident.
No group or individual has grabbed credit for the murder.

On Sunday, two officers of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) were killed in an attack by unknown button men in the Bagram area of Kabul city.

TOLOnews’ Anisa Shaheed accompanied by security forces this week visited Khwajakhil outpost in Chakari district in Khak-e-Jabar district that was under Taliban control a year ago. Now, it is the last outpost of the Afghan forces in the district.
"They were here. We established these outposts here and they escaped," Shir Mohammad Sangaryar, commander of an army in the province.
Khak-e-Jabar district police chief Noor Rahman Sarjang said the Afghan forces conducted an operation in Surobi district—in Khak-e-Jabar’s neighboring—that reduced attacks by the group on his district.
"Sometimes they come through the Wochtangi area, they come from Surobi and attack our outpost," Sarjang said.
Sahib Gul, a resident of the village, recalled "improper" treatment by the Taliban when they had it under their influence.
"My two sons were working in Kabul, but they could not come to their hometown due to the threats," Sahib Gul said.
The residents as well as the police chief of the district said the Taliban established a court in Chakari district during their rule in the area where they trialed "suspects" and that even now, they make contacts with tribal elders and ask them to give them their part from some development projects that are implemented in the village.
"They killed soldiers and issued orders from this court," said Hasibllah Chakari, a policeman in Khak-e-Jabar.
The district has an estimated population of 15,000, according to government figures. Some army soldiers in Khwajakhil outpost said they recently witnessed heavy festivities against the Taliban.

[ToloNews] 125 Taliban ...Arabic for students... fighters joined the grinding of the peace processor in Charkint district of Balkh province, the 209 Shaheen Army Corps said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Taliban fighters laid down their arms following efforts made by Charkint district governor Salima Mazari and the tribal elders in the area," the statement said.
Charkint is not a secure district.
Local officials have expressed hope that the joining of the Taliban fighters will help to improve the security situation in the fragile district.
125 Taliban fighters, including 15 group leaders, on Monday gave up weapons to Afghan Security Forces in Balkhab district of the province.

[AlAhram] Egypt's public prosecution said on Tuesday that Egyptian citizen Ewis El-Rawi was killed while resisting arrest at his home in a Luxor village.
In the first official statement concerning the killing, which took place on 30 September and has since sparked controversy on social media, the prosecution said that it is still conducting its investigation into the incident.
"The public prosecution had authorised the arrest of [El-Rawi] and [some of his] relatives to question them on terrorism related charges, which were based on investigations by the National Security Department," the statement said.
The prosecution said that is was notified that El-Rawi was killed while attempting to resist the taskforce, that was dispatched to his home to execute the arrest warrant, with an automatic firearm that found next to his body. "Habibi, bring out the shuttergun and 4 rounds of bullet for the photos!"
The prosecution added that it has questioned three people over the incident: the officer leading the taskforce, the dear departed's brother, who was arrested during the operation, and his father.

The prosecution also said that El-Rawi's father has denied rumours that his son died defending him from an attack by a policeman.

Attended a Gun Show down here in Middle Ga. over the weekend. I saw 100's of cheaply built AR's and etc all being sold for 3 to 4x's the usual amount. .223 Ammo @ $1 a round with 20 to a zip lock baggy. 12ga OO $1.25 ea., 50cal rds $4.50 to $5 ea.
I also noticed, given the MAGA wearing attire vs. sagging pants/BLM T-shirts. The crowd buying stuff was running about a 60/40 mix.
Note: This is not a White vs. Black observation. Because we had a lot of older Black Citizens and Military there. Roughly about 1/3 of them wearing US Flag stuff and even Pro-Trump items.
Also noted a lot of outside private buys and trades that seem to be running mostly that of the abrasively dressed 40%.
In a few cases this collection was paying premium $$$ for cheap used loose matching parts 9mm's. Even over new weapon dealer retail prices.
My point... It is clear...IF... we have a major issue leading up to and after the National Election, the Anti-USA part of the population has been arming themselves also.
