-Lurid Crime Tales-
Lerner's lawyers negotiating with Issa over immunity.
[Daily Caller] But, but, but I don't understand. Immunity from what? The old wank said she was "innocent" and "did nothing WRONG!" I certainly hope she's got her affairs in order.

#2  If she's convicted of a felony does she still get her pension? If so there might be some justice because even if she's convicted Obama will pardon her just before he leaves office.

It seems to me the problem with immunity would be making sure that her testimony would lead to convictions higher up in the food chain.

#3  ...er, I mean, if her pension is revoked there might be some justice...

#5  She's a dem, they don't follow rules.

Sure they do.
Rule#1: Loyalty to the Party.
Rule#2: Loyalty must be rewarded.

#6  the problem with immunity would be making sure that her testimony would lead to convictions higher up in the food chain.

I suspect that is exactly what the 'negotiations' are about. "Who you gonna give up?"

#7  The assumption is that the 'negotiations' are anywhere near happening. If Issa 'leaked' the 'negotiations' it puts Lerner in a prisoner's dilemma situation. The White House can't be sure she isn't talking. Given the past record of the White House, Lerner can't be sure the White House believes her if she says she's not cooperating. Given Benghazi, who'd trust the people in the White House?

#8  And if they can't be sure she isn't talking she might want to watch her back.

#9  She should definitely stay away from Ft Macy Park.

Terry McAuliffe Pledges Colorado-Like Gun Control If Elected
[BREITBART] [BREITBART] Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe's (D) website was updated Monday to show his commitment to bring Colorado-like gun control to the commonwealth.
That probably won't fly well from Manassas down.
Lots of votes from Manassas up...
In the section titled "Investing in Virginia's Urban Centers,"
Dems are always "investing" in something or other. All their investments seem to lose money.
TerryMcAuliffe.com now contains the heading, "Support Common Sense Gun Control Measures."
Dems' ideas are always described as "common sense." Often they make no sense of any kind.
Under that heading, it says McAuliffe "will support mainstream and majority supported gun control measures like universal background checks, limiting the size of magazines, and a return to the 1-gun-per-month rule."

The limitation on magazine capacity is a Colorado-like gun control measure that will put law-abiding Virginians at a disadvantage the moment it is enacted. This is because criminals will not obey it but will keep their "high-capacity" magazines so they can outgun their victims.

Universal background checks will mean an end to LEGAL private gun sales in the state of Virginia, as they did in Colorado. This happens because Virginians will have to get the government's permission, via a background check, in order to sell or buy a firearm.

In addition, the universal background check mechanism will allow a McAuliffe governorship to control how many guns Virginians can or cannot buy each month--thus the pledge to "return to the 1-gun-per-month rule."

Once similar gun control measures passed in Colorado, upset citizens successfully recalled two State Senators behind the legislation within months.

#1  Be interesting to watch and see if he flips like a fish in a boat.

That's political suicide, he should know that.

#2  Sign of desperation? As a general rule, Democrats have to lie about their feeling on gun control to get elected.

#4  He can completely write off all of southside and the southwest from Staunton down. The only votes west of Richmond will be from UVA area. This looks like a bet that he can win the state by taking Richmond to liberal belt around DC and the black-always-vote-Dem elsewhere in the state.

No communion for Nancy Pelosi: Vatican court head
[WASHINGTONTIMES] House Minority Leader Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi
Congresswoman-for-Life from the the Socialist paradise of San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of politicians. Formerly Speaker of the House, but it's not her fault they lost. Really. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace...
has no Catholic right to be granted Communion, said the leading cardinal of the highest court at the Vatican. Mrs. Pelosi should be denied Communion until she changes her advocacy views on abortion, Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke said, according to the Western Center for Journalism.

That's canon law, not opinion, he said. Canon 915 states that Catholics who are stubbornly contrary "in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion And Cardinal Burke said Mrs. Pelosi fits the definition. "Certainly this is a case when Canon 915 must be applied," he said, the Western Center for Journalism reported. "This is a person who obstinately, after repeated admonitions, persists in a grave sin -- cooperating with the crime of procured abortion -- and still professes to be a devout Catholic.".

#1  Well, it's not like you can take communion while riding a broom.

#2  Good, now Pope Francis needs to stand up to these false Catholics, Biden and Kerry come to mind. Me, I'm a cardiac Catholic, if I'm dying get me a Priest, NOW! At least I admit it, not like our esteemed leaders.

#3  Ooh, that's going to hurt.

I wasn't aware that she's Catholic, her views are so against Catholicism, It's good a higher posr chastises her, Bet she'll cheat.

#4  Quit beating around the bush, she's been excommunicated by the Church.

HA

Good, I'm glad to see the Church take a stand on that.

#6  Conflicted. Not consistent at all here. She will simply find one who will give her communion. Everyone says the Arabs are so religious. They are like here. Some are but nothing like the media presents it. Occult and superstitious permeate the Arab world. Even among the Amish. The bishop calls the shots. You don't like it go to Ohio. Indiana has been popular also for relocations. Electric, cars, drink all modern weaknesses.

#8  As alluded, the Bishop will do nothing. It's like Scalia making a comment in an interview, unlikely to be taken as direction for the governors.
