Afghanistan
4 Women, Infant Boy Killed in Kabul Blast
[ToloNews] Five civilians, including four women — one of them pregnant — and a child, were killed in a kaboom in downtown Kabul that targeted a bus carrying low-ranking employees of two government ministries on Monday afternoon.

The blast happened a day after two similar blasts targeted two civilian buses in Kabul’s west on Sunday evening.

Monday’s blast targeted a bus that carried the employees of the ministries of education, information and culture, and the Afghan Post, which operates under the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology. Such buses are usually hired on a monthly basis by babus government employees.

Khatira Mayil, a pregnant mother, was killed with her three-year-old child in the earth-shattering kaboom. She was expecting her second child to be born soon.

At least 13 others, all civilians, were maimed in the earth-shattering kaboom, according to officials.

i, two employees of Afghan Post; Aziza Malik Zada, an employee of the Ministry of Information and Culture; Khatira Mayil, an employee of the Ministry of Education, and her child, Arsh Mayil, were the five victims of the attack. The victims were laid to rest in Kabul on Tuesday.

Figures collected by TOLOnews show that 140 people have been killed and 202 others have been maimed in different security incidents in the last 15 days.

Of the 140 killed, 87 of them were security force members, 42 were civilians and 11 were babus government employees.

Of the maimed, 74 were security force members, 114 were civilians and 14 were babus government employees.

Data collected by TOLOnews shows that 270 civilians and security force members were killed and 173 more were maimed in various security incidents across the country in February.

The findings show that 166 security incidents, including magnetic IED blasts, roadside kaboom blasts, assassinations and Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
offensives, occurred in Afghanistan in February.

The data shows that the February casualties are slightly less than what was reported by TOLOnews in January.

3 Security Force Members Killed in Attack on Herat Dam
[ToloNews] Three security force members, who were assigned to protect the Pashdan dam in Herat
...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
, were killed in an attack by gunnies early Tuesday morning, an official said.

Nizamuddin Khpulwak, front man for National Water Affairs Regulation Authority, said the attack happened at around 3 am on Tuesday in which four more security force members were maimed.

Head of the Pashdan dam, Mohammad Arif Achakzai, told TOLOnews that the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
attacked an outpost far from the dam.

He said the outpost has a lot of distance from the surrounding wall of the dam.

Taliban so far has not commented on the incident.

The dam is located in Karokh, 25 kilometers northwest of Herat city.

Herat governor's front man Jailani Farhad said the security forces killed the attackers by chasing them to a village in Pashtun Zarghon district in the province. He said five Taliban were killed in response by security forces to the attack.

The dam has the capacity of 45 million cubic meters of water, generates two megawatts of power, and has the capacity to irrigate 13,000 hectares of land, officials said.

The project is worth $117 million, according to officials.

This comes as at least 11 workers of the Pashdan Dam were kidnapped by the Taliban last month, according to Wakil Ahmad Karokhi, a provincial council member.

Sudan Prosecutes Former Regime Officials on Corruption, Murder Charges
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The Sudanese Public Prosecution announced it was taking legal action against a new group of former officials of ousted President Omar al-Bashir
...Former President-for-Life of Sudan He came to power in 1989 when he, as a brigadier in the Sudanese army, led a group of officers in a bloodless military coup that ousted the government of Prime Minister Sadiq al-Mahdi and eventually appointed himself head cheese. He fell out with his Islamic mentor, Hasan al-Turabi, tried to impose shariah on the Christian and animist south, resulting in its secessesion, and attempted to Arabize Darfur by unleashing the barbaric Janjaweed on it. Sudan's potential prosperity has been pissed away in warfare that has left as many as 400,000 people dead and 2.5 million displaced. Hee was overthrown by popular consent in 2019. Omar has been indicted for genocide by the International Criminal Court but nothing is expected to come of it...
's regime on charges of murder, corruption and torture.

The Public Prosecution referred five cases of murder during protests in Atbara city to the judiciary, which will set date for the trials.

It also completed its investigations into an incident where a detainee was tortured to death by the Rapid Support Forces in December. The report will be referred to the judiciary within days.

Attorney General, Tajelsir El Hibir, received the forensic reports on the autopsy of exhumed bodies of the Kajbar Dam deaders, and the incident was documented as a criminal association and premeditated murder.

The Kajbar Dam events date back to 2007 when members of the security forces of the former regime rubbed out four people during a peaceful march denouncing the construction of the dam, which was threatening to inundate their areas.

Former finance ministers, Ali Mahmoud Abdel-Rasoul and al-Zubair Ahmed al-Hassan, who was the Secretary-General of the Islamic Movement, among others, are facing corruption charges relating to their selling of the state's River Transport Authority, according to the prosecution's statement.

The prosecution also charged ministers Awad Ahmed al-Jaz and Abdel Halim al-Mutafi along with others with corruption charges in the case of the Mashkour Sugar Company. Former governor, al-Haji Atta al-Mannan was also indicted in corruption charges in the case of the AlNile Bank.

The Prosecution's office of Crimes Against the State and Counterterrorism issued 34 reports against former officials for using foreign currencies outside the banking system, and their involvement in counterfeiting networks.

Since the toppling of Bashir and the establishment of the transitional government, the Prosecution has been working on several cases and reports to hold the regime accountable for its crimes.

The ousted president was convicted of corruption, and his comrades are under trial for plotting the 1989 coup that overthrew the elected democratic government led by the late Prime Minister al-Sadiq al-Mahdi.

ISIS beheading children in Mozambique's Cabo Delgado
[AfricaNews] Islamist militants are beheading children as young as 11 in Mozambique's northern province of Cabo Delgado, aid agency Save the Children said in a new report.

Armed groups, known locally as al-Shabab ("young people" in Arabic), have been sowing terror for more than three years in the strategic province of Cabo Delgado, which borders Tanzania and is an area that is rich in natural gas.

More than 2,600 people have died in the conflict and more than 670,000 people have been forced to flee their homes, according to the United Nations.

Save the Children heard from mothers, including one whose name has been changed to protect her identity.

'THEY TOOK MY ELDEST SON AND BEHEADED HIM'
She said her 12-year-old was beheaded near to where she was hiding with her other three children.

“That night our village was attacked and houses were burned. When it all started, I was at home with my four children," the mother said.

"We tried to escape to the woods, but they took my eldest son and beheaded him. We couldn't do anything because we would be killed too.”

Another woman, whose name has also been withheld for protection, said her son had been killed by militants while she and her other three children had been forced to flee.

"After my 11-year-old son was killed, we understood that it was no longer safe to stay in my village," she said.

On Monday, the United States Embassy in Maputo said US Special Operations Forces will train Mozambican marines for two months to fight against the jihadist insurgency in the Cabo Delgado province.

#4  Kurtz: "Horror... Horror has a face... and you must make a friend of horror. Horror and moral terror are your friends. If they are not, then they are enemies to be feared. They are truly enemies! I remember when I was with Special Forces... seems a thousand centuries ago. We went into a camp to inoculate some children. We left the camp after we had inoculated the children for polio, and this old man came running after us and he was crying. He couldn't see. We went back there, and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried, I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out; I didn't know what I wanted to do! And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it... I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought, my God... the genius of that! The genius! The will to do that! Perfect, genuine, complete, crystalline, pure. And then I realized they were stronger than we, because they could stand that these were not monsters, these were men... trained cadres. These men who fought with their hearts, who had families, who had children, who were filled with love... but they had the strength... the strength... to do that."

, marking the second time in the last 24 hours that they have launched an attack on this installation. The front man for the Ansarallah-aligned Yemeni armed forces, Yahya Sare’e, said: "The air force targeted the King Khalid Airbase in Khamis Mushait with a Qasef 2k plane at dawn today, Tuesday, and the hit was accurate."

"This targeting comes as part of the response to the escalation of the aggression and its comprehensive siege on our country," Sare’e added in a tweet on his Twitter account.

Earlier in the day, the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia in Yemen announced the interception and destruction of a booby-trapped drone launched by the Ansarallah Movement towards the city of Khamis Mushait.

The coalition said in a statement that its forces "are taking operational measures to neutralize and destroy sources of threat," stressing that its operations "are in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules."

On Monday, the Arab coalition stated that it had destroyed a fortified cache of ballistic missiles and launchers in Yemen’s Sa’ada Governorate, which is located along the southern border of Saudi Arabia.

Prior to this announcement by the Arab Coalition, the Ansarallah Movement said they bombed both the King Khalid Airbase and Abha Airport.

Fifth Column
Guns, knives and other weapons confiscated from suspects at Portland Antifa riot
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] After dozens of armed Antifa
...the armed wing of the Democratic Party...
bandidos forces of Evil smashed up an apartment building in downtown Portland on Friday night, police made 13 arrests. The masked suspects were found to be carrying guns, knives, crow bars, hammers and other weapons.

At around 9 p.m., officers from the Portland Police Bureau rushed after the Antifa rioting in Portland’s wealthy Pearl District and created a manned perimeter. So-called "legal observers," news hounds, and anyone with medical conditions were given the opportunity to leave the enclosed area after identifying themselves to law enforcement.

The controversial policing tactic, known as "kettling," proved effective. The Antifa refused to comply and locked arms together in an effort to interfere with authorities. The rioters were escorted or carried away one-by-one and arrested. Two weeks prior, Antifa caused thousands in damage to the same neighborhood in another pre-planned riot.

Tara Walker, 36, was booked into jail and charged with carrying a concealed weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded firearm in a public place and resisting arrest. She was bailed out quickly. By Monday, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office announced that they weren’t pursuing any of the charges against her.

The Post Millennial can report that Tara Walker is an antifa member. She previously worked for the State of Oregon as a program manager and content specialist. And until last month, she was a data analyst for Cambia Health Solutions (Cambia Health Solutions has been reached for comment).

As seen in previous riots in Portland where siblings are arrested together, Walker’s younger sister, Katrina Walker, 26, was arrested and charged with possessing an illegal firearm. She was criminally cited in lieu of being booked into jail. The younger Walker was previously arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct and interfering with a peace officer at another riot in August 2020 when Antifa, armed with spike strips to pop police tires, attacked a police building. Those prior charges against Walker were dropped.

Cody James Connel, 36, was booked into jail and charged with interfering with a peace officer, resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct. The latter two charges were dropped on Monday. He was quickly released on pretrial supervision. His trial readiness hearing is scheduled for

In 2012, Connel was convicted of felony second-degree robbery and felony attempting to elude police in Tigard, Oregon. He was sentenced in Washington County Circuit Court to five years and 10 months in prison, followed by three years of post-prison supervision, The Oregonian reported.

Sean Gabriel Lopez, a 26-year-old Black Lives Matter rapper, was cited for interfering with a peace officer. He was arrested numerous times last year at violent mostly peaceful protests but had his charges dropped. Lopez’s last arrest was in October when Antifa rioters hurled an incendiary device at the local Immigrations and Customs Enforcement facility.

Alissa Eleanor Azar, a 29-year-old Syrian sex worker, was charged with interfering with an officer and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Rachel "Rowan" Agnes Levelle, a 24-year-old female to male transsexual, was cited for interfering with a peace officer. He is a radical anti-capitalism activist from Seattle who was previously arrested for the same charge at another riot last year. The case against him was dropped.

23-year-old Saekwon Williams; 34-year-old Ryan Skut, of Milwaukie, Oregon; and 22-year-old Amber Raby were all cited for interfering with a peace officer and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Daniel Muller, 36, was cited for unlawful use of a weapon and attempted assault of a public safety officer. Ian McCarthy, 28, was cited for interfering with a peace officer, resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct. Dillon Granthan, 28, was cited for interfering with a peace officer.

An unnamed 17-year-old Portland male was referred to juvenile justice for first-degree criminal mischief.

Ahead of last Friday’s pre-announced "direct action" march, the Pearl District’s neighborhood association warned the community of potential violence, instructing residents to stay indoors and limit activity throughout the evening.

Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt stated on Monday that his office will "independently review and evaluate each case as police reports are completed and submitted" within the next two to three weeks.

So the Brown Shirts have escalated to deadly weapons to increase the violence.

Portland just became a Target Rich Environment.

Oregon Laws allows deadly force in the following ways:

1. When someone is committing or attempting to commit a felony involving the use or threatened imminent use of physical force against a person.

2. When someone is committing or attempting to commit a burglary in a dwelling.

3. When someone is using or about to use unlawful deadly physical force against a person.

SEATTLE TAKE NOTE:
Washington state law is pretty much the same.
Neither state requires a person to retreat before using deadly force.

Home Front: WoT
Border officials admit that four people arrested at border are on terror watchlist
[Right Scoop] Border officials have now admitted that four people that have been arrested at the border in the last six months were on the terror watchlist:

AXIOS — The Customs and Border Protection agency confirmed to Congress today that four people arrested at the southern border since Oct. 1 match names on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database, a congressional aide briefed on the correspondence told Axios.

Three of the people arrested were from Yemen and one was from Serbia. The four arrests are more than the number of similar people taken into custody during recent full fiscal years, according to the source. In fiscal 2018, six people from Yemen and Bangladesh were arrested.

The watchlist is long, and includes people who are "known to be or are reasonably suspected of being involved in terrorist activities," according to the FBI.

Four may not sound like a lot, but just imagine how many unknown terrorists are getting across the border, especially in this catastrophic surge that Biden has brought to the country.

Not everyone that crosses the border turns themselves in for asylum. And you can bet those who that might be considering attacks would stay as far away from law enforcement as possible.

This is just one more way Biden’s disastrous policies will hurt Americans.

CBS Reports DHS Has Detained 13,000+ Unaccompanied Kids at the Border, Calls It a 'Crisis'
[PJ] CBS Evening News, citing unnamed sources, reports that the Department of Homeland Security has detained more than 13,000 unaccompanied children at the U.S.-Mexico border since Joe Biden’s inauguration. What was becoming a more orderly, if still unruly, border across 2020 is now in crisis — CBS reports, even using that word the Biden administration has avoided, in its video package, which you can watch in the tweet.

case said that the group of radicalised persons had planned on undertaking assassinations in Kerala and Karnataka.

Raids were conducted at 11 locations including eight locations in Kerala spread over Districts of Kannur, Mallapuram, Kollam and Kasargod, two locations in Bengaluru and one location in Delhi. The case relates to the terror activities of a group led by one Mohammad Ameen alias Abu Yahya a resident of Kerala.

This group had been running various ISIS propaganda channels on different social media platforms such as Telegram, Hoop and Instagram for propagating violent mostly peaceful Jihadi ideology of ISIS and radicalising and recruiting new members.

They had also planned to undertake Hijrat (religious migration) to J&K for engaging in terrorist acts.

Further, Mohammed Ameen had travelled to J&K immediately after his return to India from Bahrain in March, 2020 and had been camping in Delhi for last two months for establishing connection with J&K based operatives having allegiance to ISIS.

The searches were conducted at the premises of accused Yahya and his associates who were members of the various groups/channels on encrypted chat platforms. During the searches, several digital devices including laptops, mobiles, hard disk drives, pen drives, multiple SIM cards of different service providers and incriminating documents have been seized. Seized exhibits are being scrutinised and will be sent for forensic examination.

JeM commander killed in encounter at Shopian
[OneIndia] In a major breakthrough, security forces killed Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Vilayat Hussain Lone in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Monday, taking the death toll of the ultras in the three-day operation to two.

Lone -- alias Sajjad Afghani, who was one of the most-wanted militants in Kashmir -- was killed in a fresh exchange of fire with security forces in Rawalpora area where an anti-militancy operation was launched on Saturday, police said.

A militant -- identified as Jahangir Ahmad Wani of the Lashkar-e-Taiba -- was killed in the gunfight on Sunday.

Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar congratulated the security forces for killing Afghani.

Report: British fighters flew over Israel to strike IS targets in Iraq
[IsraelTimes] British jet fighters of the Royal Air Force have flown over Israel on their way to strike caves used by the Islamic State

in Iraq, Channel 12 news reports.

The strike occurred sometime during the March 10-12 period. The RAF says in a statement today that Typhoon FGR4 fighter jets used Storm Shadow missiles against IS targets south-west of Erbil city in northern Iraq.

Channel 12 reports that the jets took off from Cyprus, and says the fighters could be observed flying over Israel on several recent occasions on flight-tracking sites.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
21 Troops Killed in Ambush in South Syria
[AnNahar] Gunmen killed 21 Syrian soldiers in an ambush in the southern province of Daraa on Tuesday, a Britannia-based war monitor said.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 21 "members of the Fourth Armored Division and the regime's intelligence units were killed in an ambush by holy warriors."

State news agency SANA reported a "terrorist attack" on a military bus in Daraa, but did not give details of numbers killed.

The soldiers were en route to the al-Mzairib district in the rural west of the province to arrest a former opposition commander when they came under fire by turbans loyal to him who sought to thwart his capture, Observatory head Rami Abdul Rahman said.

"The turbans attacked two military trucks and two small buses carrying regime forces," he added.

That sparked a shootout which forced Damascus to deploy reinforcements to the area, Abdul Rahman said.

Russian-backed regime fighters recaptured Daraa from rebels in 2018, in a symbolic blow to the anti-government uprising born there in 2011.

State institutions have since returned, but the army is still not deployed across the whole province, the Observatory says.

Many former rebels stayed instead of evacuating under a Moscow-brokered deal, either joining the army or remaining in control of parts of the province. They were allowed to keep their light firearms.

Al-Mzairib is among the districts controlled by former opposition forces.

Since it came under regime control, Daraa has witnessed a spate of bombings and liquidations targeting regime forces, former opposition figures and civilians. Most of them remain unclaimed.

Syria's war has killed more than 388,000 people and displaced millions since it started with anti-government protests in 2011.

Iran has started enriching uranium at its underground Natanz plant with a second type of advanced centrifuge, the IR-4
Unexpectedly. The Biden administration is as effective as we anticipated.
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

Last year Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
started moving three cascades, or clusters, of different advanced models of centrifuge from an above-ground plant at Natanz to its below-ground Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP). It is already enriching underground with IR-2m centrifuges. The deal only lets it enrich there with first-generation IR-1 machines.

"On 15 March 2021, the Agency verified that Iran began feeding the cascade of 174 IR-4 centrifuges already installed at FEP with natural UF6," the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency said in the report to member states dated Monday, referring to uranium hexafluoride, the form in which uranium is fed into centrifuges for enrichment.

Iran has indicated that it now plans to install a second cascade of IR-4 centrifuges at the FEP but installation of that cascade has yet to begin, the report said. Iran has already increased the number of IR-2m machines, which are far more efficient than the IR-1, installed at the underground plant.

"In summary, as of 15 March 2021, Iran was using 5,060 IR-1 centrifuges installed in 30 cascades, 522 IR-2m centrifuges installed in three cascades and 174 IR-4 centrifuges installed in one cascade, to enrich natural UF6 up to 5% U-235 at FEP," the IAEA report said, referring to the fissile purity of uranium.

Iran is enriching up to 20% purity at another plant, Fordow.

Freefalling Lebanon Currency Hits New Low
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
's currency hit a new low against the dollar on the black market Tuesday, continuing its freefall in a country gripped by political deadlock and an economic crisis.

The latest plunge means the Lebanese pound has lost almost 90 percent of its value on the informal market in just 18 months.

The Lebanese pound has been pegged to the dollar at 1,500 since 1997, but the country's worst economic crisis since the 1975-1990 civil war has seen its unofficial value plummet.

The slide has picked up speed over the past two weeks, with the exchange rate soaring from 10,000 Lebanese pounds to the dollar on March 2 to around 15,000 on Tuesday.

Three money changers said they were buying dollars for 14,800 to 14,900 Lebanese pounds, while a customer told AFP they had sold the foreign currency at 15,000 pounds to the dollar.

The pound's fall has led to soaring food prices in a country where more than half of the population now lives below the poverty line.

The smell of burnt tires wafted over Beirut on Tuesday after gaggles of protesters erupted into the streets in the capital and elsewhere in the country, in the latest such demonstrations in recent weeks.

"Lebanon exchange rate reaches 15,000LL to the 1$. Last night it was 13,250," tweeted analyst Maha Yahya.

"Country collapsing around us & we are unable to do anything," said Yahya, the director of the Carnegie Middle East Center.

Since autumn 2019, banks have largely prevented ordinary depositors from accessing their dollar savings or transferring them abroad, forcing them to resort to the black market to obtain foreign currency.

In a country that needs dollars to import goods, several shops have closed their doors in recent days to re-price goods and some factories have halted production.

The government resigned in August last year after a devastating port blast that killed 200 people and ravaged a large part of the capital.
