#8  She's had an interesting life. [Wikipedia] Weld has been married three times. She was married to screenwriter Claude Harz from 1965 until their divorce in 1971. They had a daughter, Natasha, in 1966. Weld was awarded custody of Natasha in the divorce and $100 a month in child support payments.[25] Weld told Guy Flatley of The New York Times in 1971:

Mama hated my husband—she's a jealous lover, you know. She's hated all the men I've ever been involved with. But I really felt that what I had been doing up to that time with my life was probably wrong, that maybe what I should be was a housewife. Our marriage lasted 5 years. It was just another one of my mistakes.[26]

She married British actor, musician, and comedian Dudley Moore in 1975. In 1976 they had a son, Patrick, now an actor, director and editor. The couple divorced in 1980, with Weld receiving a $200,000 settlement plus $3,000 monthly alimony for the next 4 years and an additional $2,500 a month in child support.[27]

In 1985, she married Israeli concert violinist and conductor Pinchas Zukerman, becoming stepmother to his daughters Arianna and Natalia. The couple divorced in 1998. In court papers, Zukerman quoted Weld as saying, "Why do I need to go to another concert when I’ve heard the piece before?" and "I can’t stand the backstage scene. I don’t want to hear another note."[28]

Between marriages, Weld dated Al Pacino,[29] David Steinberg,[26] Mikhail Baryshnikov[30] (whose previous girlfriend, Jessica Lange, had been Weld's best friend[31]), Omar Sharif,[32] Richard Gere[33] and Ryan O'Neal.[34]

Weld sold her beach house in Montauk, New York, in the late 2000s and moved to Carbondale, Colorado. In 2018, she left Colorado and bought a $1.8 million home in the Hollywood Hills.[35]

3 Civilians Killed in 2 Explosions in Kabul
[ToloNews] At least three non-combatants were killed and 12 more were maimed in two separate explosions in Kabul that occurred in less than one hour of each other on Sunday evening.

Police said the first explosion happened in the Pul-e-Sokhta area in Kabul’s District 3, hitting a passenger bus, in which one civilian was killed and five more were maimed.

Police added that the other explosion also targeted a passenger bus in the Sar-e-Karez area in Kabul’s District 6, in which two non-combatants were killed and seven more were maimed.

TOLOnews findings show that parts of the centers of at least 10 provinces, including Kabul, Nangarhar
The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country..
, Kunduz, Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
, Parwan, Balkh, Kandahar, Badghis and Uruzgan have faced deadly anti-security incidents in the last 15 days.

One of them was a deadly car kaboom in the city of Herat
...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
in the west of Afghanistan, which resulted in seven civilians killed and over 60 more maimed, according to local officials.

Amid concerns over an increase in violence, Interior Minister Gen. Massoud Andarabi in an interview with the News Agency that Dare Not be Named on Saturday said that Afghan cops are capable of holding their positions even if US troops withdraw.

"The Afghan cops are fully capable of defending the capital and the cities and the territories that we are present in right now," he said. "We think that the Afghan cops this year have proven to the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
that they will not be able to gain territory."

TOLOnews figures show that 67 security incidents have happened in the country so far this month in which 125 people, including civilians and security force members, have been killed and 172 others have been maimed.

Afghans from various parts of the country said they are concerned about their safety.

"We are concerned about our safety when we leave our homes in the morning. We don’t know what happens next," said Mir Rahmat, a Herat resident.

Faryab is another province that has witnessed festivities between security forces and the Taliban over the last few days.

"Almar district fell to bad boys. The city of Maimana will also fall to gunnies if the situation continues," said Abdul Wahab, a Faryab resident.

Wahidullah Jumazada, Governor’s front man told the media, that the incident took place in PD2, Qala-e-Qadam area in the provincial city.

The unidentified forces of Evil assassinated an I.T worker for the provincial appellate court, according to Jumazada.

Following the murder, the unknown suspects expeditiously departed at a goodly pace, before police could arrive.

The case is reportedly under investigation and the security force members are looking for the involved culprits.

This comes at a time when unidentified gunnies killed a policeman in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar

province.

The attack happened at around 8 a.m local time in PD1 of Jalalabad city, the killed policeman served as a security guard in "Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat" in the province.

Sources told media that after the button men killed the security guard while on the duty, the culprits also stole his weapon.

So far, no group or individual including the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
and ISIS have grabbed credit for both of the incidents.

These atrocities happen despite peace efforts and attacks on court staff, holy mans, journalists, civil society activists, prosecutors, and civilians have intensified.

The government failed to capture many perpetrators in many of such cases, and no one claims the responsibility for the attacks.

Riots, Violence Erupt in West Coast Cities on Breonna Taylor Anniversary
Yesterday we had a report about Portland, now we learn about LA and Seattle, too.
[EpochTimes] Major cities on the West Coast were among those seeing riots and protests Saturday night as demonstrators marked the one-year anniversary of Breonna Taylor’s death in a police raid in Louisville, Kentucky.

Several U.S. cities were beset by riots and protests on Saturday night as demonstrators marked the one-year anniversary of the death of Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky.

Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle saw protests and festivities between crowds of people and police. Rioters threw rocks at coppers in Hollywood and smashed store windows, according to reports and footage published from the scene.

Videos showed riot police at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. A video uploaded to Twitter showed a demonstrator appearing to jump on a police car as it drove away.

Officials told KNBC in Los Angeles that at least one officer was injured during the skirmishes between protesters and police.

"Ppl asking why the protesters who got hit by LAPD’s car jumped on the hood... uh... cuz when you’re getting hit by a car YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE UNDER IT," the person who uploaded the video said.

Another video appeared to show an LAPD officer being hit with an air conditioner unit.

In Portland, Oregon, the federal courthouse downtown was targeted again by rioters, reports said. Antifa
...the armed wing of the Democratic Party...
types created a so-called "no go zone" for the public and police around the courthouse.

Police detained about 100 protesters after surrounding them by using the so-called "kettling" tactic of using large groups of officers to move to contain a crowd within a limited area. Protesters either leave through an exit controlled by the police or are contained, prevented from leaving, and arrested.

"The group was advised that they were being detained for investigation of crimes, they were not free to leave, and they should comply with officers’ lawful orders. Failure to comply may result in arrest or force being used against them to include, but not limited to, crowd control agents, impact weapons, or tear gas. Legal observers, press, and anyone who was medically fragile or anyone who needs immediate medical attention were invited to leave the enclosed area if they wished," the Portland Police Bureau said.

"Those that were being detained were identified and photographed, as part of a criminal investigation, before being released. Some refused to comply and locked arms together in an effort to interfere with the investigation. Officers escorted them away and they were arrested."

Officials said they found a crowbar, hammers, and a high-impact slingshot.

In Seattle, police were seen making arrests and moving quickly against rioters, according to video footage. Another video showed a police car following a crowd.

Several shops in downtown Seattle were seen with smashed windows and spray-painted walls, photos published by the police department showed.

The Seattle Police Department, which saw its police chief resign last year, wrote that 13 people were arrested during the demonstration.

‘It's Just an Open Gate': Biden's Border Crisis Spirals Out of Control

"This is just an open gate," said Oscar. "It’s a hot spot, it’s so unfortunate the authorities are not doing anything about it. It’s wide open."

"There’s a lot of cartel activity, there’s a lot of illegal activity," he said.

Viewers could see four males walking right across an open border. Bergquam and Oscar reported they did not speak Spanish and appeared to be of Middle Eastern descent.

Iraq
ISIS behind brutal attack in Salah al-Din province
[CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
] ISIS bandidos forces of Evil were behind Thursday's brutal killings north of Baghdad where they rubbed out eight people in three separate attacks, including six family members, according to an Iraqi military statement released Friday.

The attack took place in Albu-Dour's predominantly Sunni village in Salah al-Din province, about 84 miles north of the Iraqi capital. The area is under the control of Iraq's Shia led paramilitary forces also known as the Popular Mobilization Units (PMUs).

ISIS grabbed credit for the attack in a statement released Friday. The group said several ISIS bandidos forces of Evil carried out three separate attacks, including one where they "raided a house" in a village north of Baghdad and shot and killed six family members.

They called some of those related to the people they killed "spies" who worked for the Popular Mobilization Units.

ISIS released photos of the raid, including images of some of the victims. Iraqi security officials confirmed to CNN that they were indeed the victims.

The terrorist group also killed a local police officer and a lawyer in two separate attacks in the same village, the Iraqi military statement said.

Iraqi security officials said during the investigation they have "concluded that the perpetrators of the crime were elements of ISIS terrorist group who infiltrated the village on foot while wearing military uniform under the pretext of searching homes of the victims," according to the statement.

ISIS attacks Sinijar district; one dies
[NRT] SULAIMANI — Iraq's Joint Operations Command said on Sunday (March 14) that Islamic State (ISIS) militants entered Sinjar district from Syria and attacked the security forces overnight.

The command said in a statement that the attack lasted for approximately half an hour.

One soldier belonging to the Third Regiment of the Iraqi Army’s Sixth Brigade was killed while pursuing the militants, according to Iraq’s Security Media Cell.

On Sunday, ISIS militants raided a village in Saladin’s Abu Dor area and killed eight people, including six members of the same family.

In December 2017, the Iraqi Security Forces, in cooperation with the Peshmerga and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) and aided by Coalition airstrikes, declared victory over ISIS. Since then, the militant group has resorted to guerrilla hit-and-run tactics, but remains a potent threat in some parts of the country.

Suspected Russian strikes target oil smuggling sites along Syrian-Turkish border

[AlMasdar] On Sunday evening, the areas of al-Bab and Jarablus in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo witnessed missile strikes targeting the sites used for oil smuggling near the Ottoman Turkish border.

According to local reports from the Aleppo Governorate, the missiles heavily targeted the area around the village of al-Hamran, which is located south of Jarabulus and the Ottoman Turkish border.

The reports said that the missiles were likely fired by the Russian Armed Forces, who have heavily targeted these on several occasions in the past year.

These strikes reportedly caused significant damage to the site, while also causing the outbreak of large fires that spread through this part of the Aleppo Governorate’s northeastern countryside.

Shortly after the missile strike that targeted the fuel market in al-Hamran, the oil sites near the town of Tarheen in the al-Bab countryside were struck by several missiles that were also believed to have been launched by the Russian Armed Forces.

These strikes on Tarheen caused massive explosions that could be heard as far west as the administrative capital of Aleppo, which is under the control of the Syrian government.

It should be noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on allegations of striking these oil sites in the past.

Russian Forces Take Over Two Oil, Gas Fields in Northeast Syria
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Russian forces on Saturday took control over the al-Thawra oil facility, located in southwest Raqqa governorate in northeastern Syria, after the Iran-aligned Liwa Fatemiyoun militia having withdrawn from the site.

This follows Russian forces imposing their control of the Toueinane gas field in Raqqa’s countryside on Friday.

Russian military reinforcements alongside units from the Russian-backed Fifth Armored Division arrived on Saturday at al-Thawra oil facility which produces around 2,000 bpd, media sources based in Syria’s Euphrates region reported.

The oil facility used to produce around 6,000 bpd before 2010.

As for the Touneinane gas field, which was controlled by Iranian proxies and operated by HESCO, it produces about 3 million cubic meters of natural gas per day, 60 tons of domestic gas, and two thousand barrels of gas condensate.

Nine Russian military vehicles and four troop carriers transporting members of the Fifth Armored Division rolled into al-Thawra oil facility after Iran-aligned Fatemiyoun militia withdrew from the site as part of understandings reached with Russian forces, reported Eye of Euphrates, a local Syrian opposition media outlet.

Similarly, Eye of Euphrates correspondents reported on seven Russian military vehicles and three troop carriers transporting members of the Fifth Armored Division arriving at the Touneinane gas field on Friday.

It was not clear if Fatemiyoun snuffies had given up their presence at the gas field also as part of agreements with Russian forces around dividing control over strategic spots in northeast Syria.

Governorates like Deir Ezzor and Hasakah, which are situated near the war-torn country’s borders with Iraq and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

, include some of the most vital oil and gas fields in Syria.

It is worth noting that US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) control most of those fields. Hasakah’s Rmeilan oil field, which includes over 1,322 oil wells and 25 natural gas wells, is run by the SDF.
