Afghanistan
Violence by Taliban Spikes Despite Peace Efforts
[ToloNews] The Taliban
...Arabic for students...
has conducted 95 attacks on Afghan forces outposts in 10 provinces over the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Defense (MoD), despite an expected reduction in violence from the group as part of a deal they signed with the United States on Feb. 29.

The incidents, according to the ministry, include offensives, rockets, shelling and roadside kaboom blasts in Kapisa, Laghman
...Afghan province with a population of about 445,600, which is multi-ethnic and mostly a rural society. During the invasions of Alexander the Great, the area was known as Lampaka, wich is apparently Olde Macedonian for Laghman. The city of Mihtarlam serves as the bucolic capital of the province. The population is half Pashtun, the remainder Tadjik and Pashai. It had a repution for great wealth until it was conquered in the tenth century by Abu Mansur Sabuktigin.
He conquered it and set fire to the places in its vicinity which were inhabited by infidels, and demolishing the idol-temples, he established Islam in them, He marched and captured other cities and killed the polluted wretches, destroying the idolatrous and gratifying the Musulmans. After wounding and killing beyond all measure, his hands and those of his friends became cold in counting the value of the plundered property.
After that it was mostly notable for the production of dirt, rocks, and holy men...
, Kunar, Balkh, Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
, Faryab, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Wardak and Pashtun-infested Logar.

Last week, acting Defense Minister Assadullah Khalid warned that the Afghan Defense and Security Forces will be no longer be in a defensive mode after Saturday, March 14, referring to the ANDSF response to the increase in Taliban attacks.

The Grand Turk
Turkey launches fresh operation against PKK in eastern provinces
[Rudaw] Ottoman Turkish forces have launched a new phase of Operation Kapan against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the country’s eastern provinces, The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
’s interior ministry said Friday.

Operation Kapan 8 covers Agri, Kars, and Igdir provinces and involves 1,012 troops, according to a ministry statement published by the state-owned Anadolu Agency.

The first phase of the operation was launched on January 11 in the southeastern province of Mardin. The seventh phase was launched two days ago in Siirt province.

Ankara "successfully" completed its months-long Operation Kiran in January, which targeted alleged PKK positions inside Turkey. The interior ministry claimed Ottoman Turkish forces "neutralized" 144 PKK fighters in the operation since its launch in August.

The Ottoman Turkish government uses the term "neutralized" to denote death, injury, or capture.

The PKK is an armed opposition group which has fought a decades-long war with the Ottoman Turkish state for greater political and cultural rights for Kurds in Turkey. It is considered as a terrorist organization by Turkey and its Western allies.

Turkey routinely launches land and air operations against the group at home, in the Kurdistan Region, and in Iraq’s disputed territories of Shingal and Makhmour. It also attacks Kurdish forces in northern Syria, accusing them of fostering ties with the PKK.

A ceasefire came into effect in 2013 during the short-lived grinding of the peace processor, which lasted until July 2015 when the talks collapsed.

Since then, 4,825 people have been killed, including 2,859 PKK fighters, 1,229 Ottoman Turkish soldiers, 489 civilians, and 226 people of unknown affiliation, according to ICG figures, last updated March 5.

'Traders in human lives': smugglers imprisoned for death of Alan Kurdi
[Rudaw] The father of Alan Kurdi, a 3-year-old Kobane child who died while crossing the Aegean sea in 2015, has expressed mixed emotions at the sentencing of 3 individuals to 125 years each in prison for their involvement in the tragedy.

Abdullah Kurdi, his wife Rehanna, and their two sons, Alan, 3, and Ghalib, 4, were trying to cross the sea to Greece on September 2, 2015 when their smuggler’s boat sank off the Ottoman Turkish coast.

A photograph of Alan lying face down in the surf on a Ottoman Turkish beach caused shock and revulsion worldwide, and led to calls for European leaders to offer refugees safe and legal passage.

Three suspects were captured in Adana province southern The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
this week, according to state-owned Anadolu Agency.

The suspects were convicted for "killing with eventual intent" by a court in Bodrum on Friday.

Two Syrian smugglers were nabbed
Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out!
in 2016 over the tragedy, but three others had fled during the trial, according to AA.

Alan’s father told Rudaw English on Friday that he is mostly happy with the verdict- punishing those who are "trading with human lives."

"The decision of sentencing the three individuals to 125 years made me happy and not happy at the same time, but made me happy in general as those who are trading with human lives have been detained and punished, and I hope all the other smugglers will be detained soon," Kurdi said.

Kurdi revealed that he knows one of the suspects and is "sure" that he is guilty.

He also announced that he is eagerly awaiting the birth of a new son, who will also be named Alan.

"I will have another Alan in 10 days, and that makes me have hope again," Kurdi said.

A German charity named a rescue ship in memory of Alan Kurdi to rescue migrants colonists in the Mediterranean Sea.

Sea-Watch's
...elsewhere called Sea-Eye...
Alan Kurdi ship has rescued many migrants colonists trying to cross the Mediterranean and enter Europe.

Kurdi is currently trying to relocate the ship from the Mediterranean Sea to Aegean sea, the primary route for refugees and migrants colonists crossing from Turkey to Greece.

"I’m planning to relocate Alan’s ship, which rescues migrants colonists from the Libyan coast, to the Aegean Sea to rescue the refugees," he said.

He is also planning to have another rescue ship in the Aegean Sea named Galib, the other son he lost in the tragedy.

Another Iran Revolutionary Guards Senior Officer Dies Of Coronavirus, Senior VP, 2 in Cabinet Join Dozens in Gov’t Sick
[EN.RADIOFARDA] A long-serving, senior Revolutionary Guard general has died of coronavirus
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
in Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
on Friday, March 13.

Lt. General Nasser Sha’abani was a member of Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) for 37 years and had held many senior posts and commands in Iran’s elite military force.

His record includes deputy commander of IRGC’s Sarollah unit in Tehran, which is tasked with protecting the regime particularly against internal dissent. He was also commander of IRGC in the western province of Kermanshah, where his forces fought against the opposition Mojahedin fighters in the 1980s, who were based in Iraq and had crossed into Iran to overthrow the Islamic Theocratic Republic.

Sha’abnai also led operations against leftist opposition groups in the years immediately following the establishment of Iran’s holy manal regime.

The coronavirus epidemic has hit the Islamic Theocratic Republic establishment, killing several well-known politicians and holy mans. Currently, two of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
’s close aides are quarantined with the virus. President Hassan Rouhani
...Iran's moderate president, which he is, relative to his predecessor, which doesn't mean he's anything but a puppet of the nearest holy man...
’s first deputy Es’haq Jahangiri is also infected and several ministers, as well as members of parliament.

The government says that as of March 13 more than 11,000 people have tested positive for the virus and more than 500 have died. But independent sources, including Radio Farda have estimated at least double of that number have fell victim to coronavirus.

Senior VP and 2 in Cabinet Join Dozens in Iranian Government with Coronavirus

[BREITBART] Iran’s senior vice president and two cabinet members tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
on Wednesday, according to the state-run Fars News Agency.

The Fars News Agency report regarding Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri’s health comes after days of speculation because he has not been seen in photos of recent top-level meetings, according to the News Agency that Dare Not be Named (AP). It reportedly appeared in the Agency’s Farsi language coverage but has not yet done so in English at press time.

"Fars published it in a picture list of names in Farsi, with Jahangiri’s name at the top, saying he was in quarantine and improving, without elaborating," the AP reported.

The cabinet members who also reportedly tested positive are Ali Asghar Mounesan, minister of cultural heritage, handcrafts, and tourism; and Reza Rahmani, minister of industry, mines, and business.

On February 27, Iran’s Vice President for Women and Family Affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar was the first of President Hassan Rouhani
...Iran's moderate president, which he is, relative to his predecessor, which doesn't mean he's anything but a puppet of the nearest holy man...
’s cabinet members to test positive for the virus, according to Breitbart News.

"Ebtekar attended a cabinet meeting on Wednesday at which Rouhani was also present. Evidently no one at the meeting was wearing a protective mask," the report said.

The next day, the deputy speaker of Iran’s Parliament, Abdolreza Mesri, confirmed that 23 politicians had contracted the virus.
