Iran Nuclear Deal: Other Democrat and RINO Senators Bribed By Iran, Including Gillibrand
[TGP] In May 2018 President Trump withdrew from the sham Iranian nuclear deal...

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari reportedly warned Western officials in May 2018 that if they do not put pressure on the Trump administration the Iranian regime would leak the names of all Western officials who were bribed to pass the weak deal.
Please do. With proof, so that we can prosecute them more easily.

Britain
Khan’s London: Murder Rate Reaches Decade High as Knife Killings Surge
[Breitbart] The number of people murdered in London has reached its highest level in a decade under the leadership of Mayor Sadiq Khan, with 149 people losing their lives in 2019.

The homicide rate in London last year was the highest since 2008 when 154 people were killed in the capital and ten per cent higher than in 2018 when 135 people were murdered. The majority of victims were stabbed to death, with 90 people being killed by knives, up from 55 in 2014.

Gang-related murders have risen sharply during the mayoralty of Sadiq Khan, with 42 people dying in gang-related crimes, more than double that of 2014 when 17 people died in gang crimes, reports The Guardian.
And what is gang code for in Britain and Europe, dear Reader? If only it weren’t illegal in Merrie Olde Britain to defend oneself and one’s home with disproportionate force against attack...
In 2018, Mayor Sadiq Khan launched a £500,000 "violent crime unit" in response to the knife crime epidemic sweeping over the city. The founder of Anti-Knife UK, Danny O’Brien, said that the mayor’s response was inadequate to deal with the problem.

"He’s said that he’s going to try and save the problem but in reality, he hasn’t got a clue what to do. He starts something, throws money at the problem but doesn’t know what the problem is," O’Brien said.

A front man for the Metropolitan Police Service said in response to the surge in knife crime that "tackling violence that involves knife crime is the number one priority" for the police.

"Stop and search and the use of Section 60 remains an important power in tackling knife crime and protecting the public. This means that following a stabbing, further retaliatory incidents are prevented saving further violence," the front man told The Sun.

"In 2018, it resulted in more than 4,200 arrests for weapon possession alone. Every one of those weapons seized potentially means one less violent incident, injury or death," the front man added.

The surge in knife crime and murders will be a top issue in the upcoming London mayoral election, in which Sadiq Khan will be seeking to win a second term.
May the citizenry give up their romantic notions, voting for someone who allows them to defend themselves instead of the slick Muslim-firster.
Shaun Bailey, a Conservative Party candidate, blamed Sadiq Khan for the violent crime wave in the city.

"An extremely violent end to the year in London. Sadly, 2019 will be remembered as a year of crime and fear for Londoners. In the mayoral campaign my focus will be on making London a safer place, things can’t carry on as they are. We need a change in City Hall," wrote Bailey.

#1  You've got a Pakistainer as a Mayor, what else do you expect ? If for diversity's sake you had an Indian as a mayor, there'd be singing and dancing and a lot of holidays. But you've got a muslim Paki, so you have hostility and stabbings and rape of minors. How hard can it be to understand ?

#2  Let's look on the bright side, people. Gun deaths are way down. That has to count for something, however meaningless, right?

An analytical nerd might wonder if there were some motivation, something beyond the mere physical presence of an object that was causing people to murder their fellow citizens. If this were true, then murder weapons are, in a sense, fungible and getting rid of one category only leads people on to the next available substitute.

#2  Fair point. Let's say only 80% are "muslims by faith." The % of Christians who are "Christians by faith" in Britain and Europe today is minuscule - prob'y less than 10%.

Which means that the actual number of believing Muslims in Britain (and France and Germany and maybe Spain as well) is close to if not greater than the actual number of believing Christians.

Tipping point approaching...

Hackers claiming to be from Iran defaced the website of the US Federal Depository Library Program, placing a pro-Iranian message on it as well as a bloodied image of US president Donald Trump being punched in the face, according to a report released by CBS news.

Written in both Farsi and English, the message said that "martyrdom was [Soleimani’s]... reward for years of implacable efforts," with another caption noting that "this is only small part of Iran’s cyber ability!"

A spokesperson from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a section of the US Department of Homeland Security, acknowledged that the hack took place.

"We are aware the website of the Federal Depository Library Program [FDLP] was defaced with pro-Iranian, anti-US messaging," the spokesperson said in a statement. "At this time, there is no confirmation that this was the action of Iranian state-sponsored actors. The website was taken offline and is no longer accessible. CISA [the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency] is monitoring the situation with FDLP and our federal partners."

Another senior US official noted that the defacement is a small-time event that was likely carried out by Iranian sympathizers.

Europe
Deadly knife attack near Paris being treated as terror-related
[IsraelTimes] Prosecutor says attacker yelled ’holy shit! Allahu akbar’ multiple times during assault, had psychiatric history; police say books on Islam were found in his bag.

French prosecutors have said a knife attack on Friday that left one man dead and two women injured in a park in the Gay Paree area is being treated as terror-related.
That would be dear little Nathan C., 22, psychiatric frequent flyer, who ran amok with a knife and a fake suicide vest in the Hautes-Bruyères park for a few minutes before the brave local coppers shot him dead...
In a statement Saturday, they said investigations over the past few hours revealed that the assailant, who was rubbed out by police, had been radicalized and had prepared the attack in Villejuif, in the southern suburbs of Gay Paree.

They said their investigations now justify a probe into "murder and attempted murder in relation to a terrorist undertaking."

Earlier Saturday, Creteil prosecutor Laure Beccuau described the assailant as a 22-year-old man with a long and serious psychiatric history.

Speaking at a news conference, she said he had converted to Islam between May and July 2019 and that he shouted "holy shit! Allahu akbar" ‐ "God is great" in Arabic ‐ several times during the attack.

She added that Sherlocks are also looking into the assailant’s phone calls and computer equipment. No accomplice has been identified.

Philippe Bugeaud, deputy director of the judicial police, said a letter ‐ details of which were not revealed ‐ and several books about Islam were found in the assailant’s bag, including some about Salafism, widely considered to be a strict interpretation of Sunni Islam.

Two women injured in the attack have left the hospital.

Europe: Anti-Christian Attacks Reach All-Time High in 2019
A very, very long list of anti-Christian attacks can be seen at the link, organized in appendices by type, country, and official comments at the time. Darth Bolton hits the ground running as the new head of Gatestone.
[GatestoneInstitute] Anti-Christian hostility is sweeping across Western Europe, where, during 2019, Christian churches and symbols were deliberately attacked day after day.

Gatestone Institute reviewed thousands of newspaper reports, police blotters, parliamentary inquiries, social media posts and specialized blogs from Britain, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Spain. The research shows (see appendices below) that roughly 3,000 Christian churches, schools, cemeteries and monuments were vandalized, looted or defaced in Europe during 2019 — which is on track to becoming a record year for anti-Christian sacrilege on the continent.

Violence against Christian sites is most widespread in France, where churches, schools, cemeteries and monuments are being vandalized, desecrated and burned at an average rate of three per day, according to government statistics. In Germany, attacks against Christian churches are occurring at an average rate of two per day, according to police blotters.

Attacks on Christian churches and symbols are also commonplace in Belgium, Britain, Denmark, Ireland, Italy and Spain. The attacks overwhelmingly involve Roman Catholic sites and symbols, although in Germany, Protestant churches are also being targeted.

The perpetrators of anti-Christian attacks — which include acts of arson, defecation, desecration, looting, mockery, profanation, Satanism, theft, urination and vandalism — are rarely caught. When they are, police and media often censor information about their identities and ethnic backgrounds. Many suspects are said to have mental disorders; as a result, many anti-Christian attacks are not categorized as hate crimes.

In France and Germany, the spike in anti-Christian attacks dovetails with the recent mass immigration from the Muslim world. The lack of official statistics on perpetrators and motives makes it impossible to know precisely how many attacks can be attributed to Muslim anti-Christianism or the jihadist cause.

In Spain, by contrast, attacks against churches and crosses are overwhelmingly carried out by anarchists, radical feminists and other far-left activists, who appear to be striving for Christianity to be permanently removed from the public square.

#2  It's the demonic horde of Ba'al. Of course it's attacking Jews and Christians. The historic perspective that exposes the truth of the devil is the basis for both peoples. Atheists and satanists in world governments have opened their gates to the devourer.

It's not muslims vs jews/christians. It's the armies of the devil consolidating his dominion on the world, seeking to devour the remnant of God's family. That alone explains the liberal psychotic love affair with islam.

Fifth Column
Tears from PajamaBoy ex-Foreign Policy Guru Ben Rhodes: NYT Ain't Our Echo Chamber Anymore
[Breitbart] Ben Rhodes, the former national security aide to President Barack Obama who created the notorious “echo chamber” to spread fake news about the Iran deal, complained on Saturday that the media was not critical enough of President Donald Trump’s airstrike against Iranian general Qassem Soleimani last week.

Rhodes retweeted a complaint about a New York Times article on Friday whose headline declared, “Trump Says He Ordered Killing of Iranian to Prevent New Attack on Americans.”

The headline did not vouch for the truth, or otherwise, of Trump’s claim, merely reporting that he had made it.

Ironically, Rhodes once admitted creating what he called an “echo chamber” to sell the Obama administration’s nuclear deal with Iran to the American public.

Contrary to what many experts — including in the administration itself — had been led to believe by the “echo chamber,” the deal did not stop Iran from eventually developing a nuclear weapon, nor did it preclude Iran from ballistic missile development.

Iran also benefited from gaining access to up to $150 billion in previously frozen assets, plus nearly $2 billion in cash flown in the dead of night on cargo pallets to secure the release of Americans effectively being held as hostages. Moreover, as a trove of hidden documents uncovered by Israeli spies in Iran revealed, Iran had no intention of abandoning its nuclear program.

Curiously, the Times headline on the article Rhodes complained about has apparently been changed to: “U.S. and Iran Exchange More Threats as Democrats Question Timing of Strike.”

's largest city. Some were sent to refugee camps outside Istanbul, while NGOs claim that some were deported to conflict zones in Syria.

More than 97,000 Syrians left Istanbul in 2019 as part of the government's controversial resettlement plan, the city's governor said on Saturday.

The move targets Syrians who were first registered in other parts of the country, with experts estimating that 300,000 Syrians living in Istanbul could be affected by the plan.

Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya said that a further 37,582 "irregular migrants colonists" were deported from Istanbul in 2019, reported Ottoman Turkish news agency Anadolu.

The report did not state the nationalities of the migrants colonists who were deported or where they were sent to.

The Istanbul governor's office earlier said that Syrians who were not registered in Istanbul were sent to refugee camps outside the city.

's plan, claiming that some of the Syrians were deported back to conflict zones in Syria.

The government has denied the deportations.

An estimated 3.6 million Syrian refugees have been granted temporary protection in Turkey, with more than 500,000 Syrians officially registered in Istanbul alone.

Turkey has since said it wants to renegotiate the deal in light of the rising refugee numbers and has threatened to allow asylum-seekers to undergo the dangerous journey to the EU.

the U.S. would strike them again if they retaliate for the drone attack that has drawn protests in the United States and threats of Dire Revenge from Iran.

"Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites" and they "WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD," Trump tweeted. "The USA wants no more threats!"

As Trump tweeted his own threat, his administration submitted a document required under the War Powers Act of 1973, which requires formal notification to Congress within 48 hours of military-style action.

Three government officials confirmed that the notice was delivered late Saturday, speaking on condition of anonymity

The White House has said the strike was legally justified because Iran Maj. Gen. Trump and other officials have also argued that Soleimani was planning future attacks on U.S. interests in the region.

Trump Tweet that has unhinged both the mullahs and the Dems and Europe
[BBC] US 'targeting' 52 Iranian sites if Tehran attacks
President Trump responds to Iran’s threat to hit 35 American targets in the region plus Tel Aviv and, as is the way of his people, ups the ante.
President Trump has warned the US is "targeting" 52 Iranian sites and will strike "very fast and very hard" if Tehran hits Americans or US assets.

His comments followed the US assassination of Qasem Soleimani, a top Iranian general, in a drone strike.

Iran has vowed to avenge his killing.

Mr Trump wrote on Twitter that Iran "is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets" in response to the general's death.

He said the US has identified 52 Iranian sites, some "at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD" if Tehran strikes the US.

"The USA wants no more threats!" Trump added.

The president said the 52 targets represented the 52 Americans held hostage in Iran for more than a year from late 1979, after they were seized at the US embassy in Tehran.

Why that is so Jacksonian of him. the problem is that the foreigners and their intel people read American MSM and thus have no understanding of the man. Notice the man does what he says he'll do.

BTW, this is not just a message for Tehran, but also Pyongyang. Are you paying attention?

Gotta love the symbolism of that!
Be fascinating to see the target list. Obvious ones are power plants, refineries and some mil bases. The mention of cultural sites is unusual.

the problem is that the foreigners and their intel people read American MSM and thus have no understanding of the man.

Yeah, certainly a problem for the man on the street. I wonder if any foreign intel services are able to burn thru the static. Anyone talk to the FSB lately?

#11  ... & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, ..

The best threats are vague enough for the target to fill in the blanks for himself. Very much “Nice country ya got here — be a shame if anything happened to it.” Iran’s image of itself as a regional power goes back almost 2500 years — destroying he things that maintain that status, knocking them back to a mere country among others, would be important to their culture: nuclear bomb development, the big oil refinery, the Quds base, the IRGC base...

#19  ammunition for enemy propaganda and therefore not helpful.

From a fact-based perspective, you are correct, sir. But we are dealing in the realm of Persuasion here.

Trump could have said our response to Iranian aggression will be considered, immediate, and proportional (Tit For Tat). That is a very diplomatic response. And everyone would have yawned. Instead, he played Think Past The Sale with a big dose of gangster thrown in.

Fifty two targets is a very specific number, not only for the symbolism, but it implies that he is beyond deciding what to do and already has the targets picked out. Now instead of wondering "will he/won't he?", people are talking about exactly what places he is going to whack. The man is good at this.

#20  I would think "52" also calls to mind the image of a card deck, with faces of (targeted) individuals on it.

Trump is believed by everyone to be erratic and borderline mad, but is in fact exceptionally cunning and a great judge of others' character and weakness.

Add to this a mastery of the medium of our era - Twitter - and you have the elements of a strategy that will keep the Iranians on the back foot.

In such a situation the only prudent course of action - ie the only one that results in their continued survival and hold on power and loot - for the Iranians will be to de-escalate.

That is because you are a reasonable, civilized person. You've probably never seized an embassy, held hostages or committed mass murder. Me, neither. But this message isn't aimed at you and me. It's a marketing campaign to convince the mullahs that Trump is a crazy sonofabitch who feels no restraint about pulling the trigger.

1) Nothing unites people more than threats like these.
They hate us already. Nothing will change that. Let them hate, as long as they fear (side note: about half of Iran seems fed up with the Islamic Revolution and wants the old Iran back. And before the Usual Suspects freak out, I'm not even hinting at nation-building.)

2) Iran's leaders will realize it's a bluff but of course not call it. It works for them.
Is it a bluff? We just drone-zapped one of their main guys at Baghdad International. Nobody believed that would happen, least of all Soleimani the zappee. Remember when Trump was dining with the Chinese PM and nipped out for a bit during the desert course to smoke that Syrian base over some chem weapons?

3) Public opinion matters. When even Boris Johnson calls for restraint...
Civilized people should be outraged. But the calls for restraint give the mullahs some room to back off and not look like wussies. It's not a bad thing.

That old Chinese guy said the highest level of skill is to win *before* you fight. If that means some harsh words and a little world outrage, it works for me.

‘Ask Donald Trump’: TMC mocks BJP’s factory-blast probe demand, Governor takes it seriously
[HindustanTimes] BJP MP from Barrackpore, Arjun Singh, has demanded NIA probe in Naihati illegal-factory blast, alleging it was a cover for manufacturing crude bombs that are often used during violence in the state. He even hinted at a possible terror link to the factory.

West Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has called for an "intense expert probe" in Naihati illegal-factory blast that killed four people on Friday, following the BJP’s demand for an investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), suspecting a possible terror link to the factory, which the party claimed, was illegally making "crude bombs" in the garb of firecrackers.

Dhankar tagged Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in his tweet seeking "fixing of accountability", hours after the arrest of the factory-owner, Noor Hossain and before a visit to the blast site by the forensic experts.

"@MamataOfficial Several deaths in blasts at factory at Masjidpara, Naihati has pained and shocked me. Allegations that crude bombs were being made in illegal factory warrants intense expert probe. Accountability of all in the administration needs to be fixed promptly," Dhankhar tweeted on Saturday morning.

Reacting to the tweet, minister of state for parliamentary affairs Tapas Roy said, "They (Centre) may ask for anything, a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation as well. Let them go ahead if they can. We have no problem."

On Friday, BJP Lok Sabha
...After the Libyan Civil War, Sabha grew in importance as a slave auctioning town. However, an investigation by the National Commission for Human Rights in Libya (NCHRL) revealed that while there was illegal slavery, reports were exaggerated, as slave auctions were rare and not made public. This was a great comfort to everyone but the slaves peddled in secret. The city was later seized by forces loyal to the Libyan National Army (LNA) and its leader Khalifa Haftar in January 2019, probably for its collection of MiG-25 aircraft....
member from Barrackpore, Arjun Singh, had demanded a probe by the NIA, alleging that the factory was a cover for manufacturing crude bombs that are often used during violence in the state. He even hinted at a possible terror link to the factory.

"I visited the spot. There are several illegal factories in the area. These people actually manufacture crude bombs under the garb of making firecrackers. It is very likely that these units have terror links like the Khagragarh incident and needs to be probed by the NIA," said Singh.

Trinamool Congress minister and the party’s district unit president Jyotipriyo Mullick rubbished Singh’s claim and said, "He should rather ask US President Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
to order a probe by the Federal Bureau of Investigation."

On Saturday, Communist Party of India (Marxist) politburo member Md Salim also accused the state government of shielding bomb makers. "People of Bengal live with insecurity," he said.

In October 2014, a kaboom in a house at Khagragarh in Burdwan town, about 100 km from Kolkata, exposed a network of Bangladeshi jihadi elements who were running an arms and explosives factory in the state.

The owner of the factory involved in the Friday blast was arrested from the Amdanga area in the same district.

Local people blocked a road on Saturday demanding a crackdown on all fireworks factories operating illegally in the area. The protest was called off after the top brass of the district police assured to look into the matter.

Orange Man vows to target '52' sites if Iran retaliates for Soleimani death
[Politico] President Donald Trump on Saturday warned Iran that the U.S. has identified dozens of sites to be hit "very fast and very hard" if it retaliates for the killing of military leader Qassem Soleimani.

"Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader," Trump tweeted. "Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have ... targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!"

Trump did not disclose which specific targets the U.S. has identified for possible strikes, however, the president's indication the list included sites of cultural significance drew an immediate outcry on social media.

Trump has routinely lashed out at nations for endangering the security of the U.S., famously threatening "fire and fury" against North Korea if the country’s leader, Kim Jong Un, continued testing nuclear weapons.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reacted to Soleimani’s death in a U.S. drone strike by vowing "harsh retaliation."

Earlier Saturday, the Department of Homeland Security released a National Terrorism Advisory System bulletin stating that "Iran and its partners, such as Hizballah, have demonstrated the intent and capability to conduct operations in the United States."

However, the bulletin added, "At this time we have no information indicating a specific, credible threat to the Homeland."

Democratic presidential candidates Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren respectively accused Trump of "incredibly dangerous and irresponsible" behavior and "threatening to commit war crimes."

on Sunday, the official IRIB news agency reported.

Soleimani's body was flown to the city of Ahvaz in southwest Iran.

IRIB posted a video clip of a casket wrapped in an Iranian flag being unloaded from a plane as a military band played.

Thousands of mourners dressed in black marched through Ahvaz, in live footage aired on state TV.

Soleimani, the architect of Tehran’s overseas clandestine and military operations as head of the Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force, was killed on Friday in a U.S. dronezap on his convoy at Baghdad airport.

#5  There's a precedent: medieval relics.

Maybe the various body parts could be distributed across different mosques, depending on how much each contributes to the Mullahs' Suleimani Fund

Iran general steps out of Soleimani's shadow to lead proxies
[Ynet] Esmail Ghaani, who 5 years ago admitted to supplying Gaza turbans with missiles, is now in charge of the Quds Force that will oversee whatever Dire Revenge Iran intends to seek against U.S.

A new Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. ian general has stepped out of the shadows to lead the country’s expeditionary Quds Force, becoming responsible for Tehran’s proxies across the Mideast as the Islamic Theocratic Republic threatens the U.S. with "harsh Dire Revenge" for killing its previous head, Qassem Soleimani

European allies ‘haven't been helpful' after killing of Iranian general: Pompeo
They might rejoice, but easier to let Uncle Sugar take the backlash. "Don't kill us!"
[NY Post] Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the United States' European allies were not as helpful as he was hoping following the US strike in Iraq on Thursday that killed Iran's top military commander, Qassem Soleimani.

"Frankly, the Europeans haven't been as helpful as I wished that they could be," Pompeo said in an interview late Friday on Fox News.

The Secretary of State tweeted comments about speaking with a wide range of foreign leaders in the past few days, including the Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, the United Arab Emirates' Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Pompeo tweeted that he thanked the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region of Iraq "for his steadfast partnership. We agreed on the need for continued, close cooperation."

His tweets about European allies hinted at a cool response.

"Countering the Iranian regime's malign activity is a shared priority with our European allies. Our resolve to protect our people & our interests is unwavering," Pompeo tweeted after his conversation with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.

After speaking with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, Pompeo commented, "Germany is also concerned over the Iranian regime's continued military provocations. The U.S. remains committed to de-escalation."

British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab, who spoke with Pompeo on Friday, in a statement likewise urged "all parties to de-escalate."

Raab said the U.K. "recognized the aggressive threat" that Soleimani posed, but "further conflict is in none of our interests," the BBC reported.

Similarly, French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted, "The escalation of tensions in the Middle-East isn't inevitable." He focused instead on supporting Iraq's sovereignty and security, "as well as the region's stability; the fight against [ISIS} terrorism."

Pompeo said European allies should remember that Soleimani led assassination campaigns in Europe along with in the Middle East.

"The Brits, the French, the Germans all need to understand that what we did, what the Americans did, saved lives in Europe as well," Pompeo said. "We're trying to get Iran to simply behave like a normal nation."

#1  One, they're not allies. Just people we share some limited common interests. How are those work arounds going with Tehran?

Two, I suspect that a lot of intel is flowing between one or two ME capitals and DoD in setting up what's unfolding.
