[GEO.TV] Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... 's Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him... rebels on Monday gave an updated toll of 10 killed and more than 90 maimed in Israeli strikes on the capital Sanaa the day before.
The Houthis had earlier said six were killed and 86 maimed in Sunday's strikes, which they said targeted a petrol station and a power plant in the rebel-held capital.
The Houthis' health ministry front man, Anees Alasbahi, said on X Monday that there were "ten dead and 92 maimed in the Zionist aggression".
The Israeli military said it had hit a military compound where the presidential palace is located, along with two power stations and a fuel depot.

[GEO.TV] At least three soldiers were martyred and 17 others were maimed on Monday after terrorist attacked a Federal Constabulary fort in Torawari area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Hangu.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Operations Asad Zubair said that said that the police along with the FC retaliated against the terror attack, forcing the Death Eaters to flee.
The police officer further added that the injured personnel shifted to the Doaba Hospital.
After the incident, the police bumped off one of the terrorists' controller in an encounter after he opened fire on the security personnel. Also, a police search operation is underway after attack on the FC fort, said the district police officer (DPO).
The development comes amid a surge in terrorist attacks across the country, particularly in KP and Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... — both of which share a rather mostly non-existent border with neighbouring Afghanistan.
According to a report released by the Pakistain Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), an Islamabad-based think tank, the country witnessed 78 terrorist attacks during the month of June, which resulted in at least 100 deaths.
Among the fatalities were 53 security personnel, 39 civilians, six holy warriors, and two members of local peace committees.
A total of 189 people were maimed, including 126 members of the security forces and 63 civilians.

[Rudaw] The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported that five of their members were maimed in an attack purportedly carried out by "Damascus-affiliated gangs" in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province. The Kurdish-led forces held the Syrian interim government "directly responsible" for the assault and called for an immediate end to such actions.
In a statement released late Sunday, the SDF said that "gangs affiliated with the Damascus government launched an attack on a military post belonging to the al-Kasra Military Council in the town of al-Junaynah, in western Deir ez-Zor countryside, using BKC machine guns and a drone."
The SDF added that "five of our fighters were maimed in the festivities" as they "repelled the attack," and claimed to have inflicted "casualties among the attackers."
Describing the assault as "a desperate attempt to sow chaos and destabilize the region," the SDF asserted that "such treacherous attacks will not deter us from fulfilling our duty." The group further held the Syrian interim government "directly responsible for the actions of these groups" and called upon it to "immediately rein in its members and cease these aggressions."
Backed by the United States, the SDF functions as the de facto military force in the Kurdish-majority northeast Syria (Rojava). It remains a key partner of the US-led Global Coalition to Defeat the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS).
The latest statement comes amid ongoing mutual accusations between the SDF and the Damascus government, with each side blaming the other for recent attacks on their respective positions.
In early August, the Kurdish-led internal security forces (Asayish), affiliated with the SDF, reported that two of their members were maimed when a "suicide drone" launched by the Syrian interim government struck a security checkpoint in northern Aleppo.
Responding to the accusations, Syria’s defense ministry denied to Rudaw that its forces had conducted "any attacks" in Aleppo neighborhoods. Instead, the ministry accused the Kurdish-led SDF of "launching several attacks" on Syrian army positions, including a purported infiltration attempt in the Tal Ma'az area east of Aleppo, which resulted in the death of a Syrian soldier.
On March 10, SDF chief Mazloum Abdi and Syria’s interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa signed a landmark agreement to integrate "all civil and military institutions" in Rojava under the administration of the Syrian state and to enforce a "ceasefire across all Syrian territory."
However,
Switzerland makes more than cheese... the two sides remain at odds over the interpretation of the term integration. While the SDF seeks to join the Syrian forces as a unified bloc, Damascus prefers to individually absorb and assimilate Kurdish fighters into the Syrian army.
