[NY Post] Uh oh!
FBI agents raided former Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton’s DC-area home Friday morning in a high-profile national security probe, The Post can exclusively reveal.
Federal agents busted into Bolton’s house in Bethesda, Md., at 7 a.m. in an investigation ordered by FBI Director Kash Patel, a Trump administration official told The Post.
"NO ONE is above the law... @FBI agents on mission," he said in a cryptic post to X shortly after the raid began.
The probe — which is said to involve classified documents — was first launched years ago, but the Biden administration shut it down "for political reasons," according to a senior US official.
Bolton has previously been accused of including classified information in his 2020 book, "The Room Where it Happened."
President Trump fought to quash its publication over its inclusion of national secrets — saying Bolton broke an NDA signed as a condition of his employment — but was ultimately unsuccessful.
His first-term Justice Department opened an inquiry into the book in September 2020.

Raid a guy that everyone hates first. If the leftists defend him, it’s like defending DC carjackers. If they don’t defend him, they raid a Dem. If the leftists protest, they ask why it was OK to raid Bolton but not the Dem.
Regardless, we will find out if Bolton is working for somebody and if he keeps more classified stuff in his house than Biden did.

...They knew perfectly well that it was going to be thrown out by an even vaguely unbiased court - but DJT wasn't supposed to win. He was supposed to quit the race, get a case of the dead, or be cheated out of a victory.

She banked on the fact that the SCOTUS would not a state law case and that every level of tge NY judiciary would be totally corrupt. Her odds were not zero.
Probably should not have picked a mortage deaud case all things considered. She may have wiped out half of Congress by the end of it.

Have you considered the theory that these people are simply crazy?
I think they're sociopaths. I don't know if that's considered crazy or just reptilian.

I also believe they knew that higher court rulings would go against their lawfare but they figured it was worth it if it generated bad publicity for Trump and cost him big bucks for his legal defense. Whoopi Goldberg on The View got to holler "Guilty!" thirty-four times and they all thought that was wonderful. Soft-headed, gullible women who watch that show were all convinced that it was the truth and they'll never hear about the civil penalty getting tossed. The same goes for the suits against his executive orders but the object there is to obstruct as much as possible.

^It's group dynamics Abu. In-group status is everything.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Donald Trump's beloved 'Alligator Alcatraz' has been ordered to be dismantled within the next 60 days and must stop taking in illegal migrants.
The bombshell decision by U.S. District Judge Kathleen Mary Williams
…previously in our archives as Kathleen M. Williams, she was appointed by President Obama in 2011, so the odds are good she’ll be overruled…
dealt a huge blow to the facility hyped by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over concerns from local native American tribes.
The judge said that she expected the population of the facility to decline within 60 days through the transferring of the detainees to other facilities, and once that happened, fencing, lighting and generators should be removed.
Opened in July, the detention center, located in the middle of the Florida Everglades, has been touted by the White House as the crown jewel of the administration's deportation policy.
Trump called it 'incredible' during a tour with DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis that same month.
Now, its become the latest example of the judiciary's fight with Trump over the issue that put him over the line more than any other in the 2024 election: taking out those migrants he called 'the worst of the worst.'
Murray wrote the state and federal defendants can't bring anyone other than those who are already being detained at the facility onto the property.
The case was brought to the court by the Miccosukee Native American Tribe
…apparently a federally recognized Native American tribe in Florida, an Indigenous people of the Southeastern Woodlands related to the Seminoles. They’ve been protesting the jail since it opened at the beginning of July …
and environmental groups asking for it to take in no new migrants.

It's too late. The airport was established and had completed all the necessary studies and fillings. There was a period public of comment and opportunity to challenge. That train had already departed.

unfortunately, the history of judicial decision making in environmental issues like this is on the side of preventing construction until thousands of pages of paper have been submitted bases on dozens of studies

Realistically, Alligator Alcatraz is easily replaced. This does not slow any deportations. This case will be appealed either successfully or unsuccessfully. There are probably 5 other sites already under construction. This particular camp served its purpose with regard to marketing. Equivalent inhospitable real estate is probably available in Toledo without a catchy name. The most inhospitable locations will not be used because they are all in the middle of Dem cities.

Ordered, eh? What is the half-life of a district court order nowadays?
Opened in July, the detention center, located in the middle of the Florida Everglades, has been touted by the White House as the crown jewel of the administration's deportation policy.
The crown jewel is people actually being deported. Alligator Alcatraz is just trolling.
