Minnesota man gets 28 years for $48 million COVID-era food fraud scandal
[NYPOST] A federal judge on Wednesday sentenced a leader of a sprawling, pandemic-era food fraud plot in Minnesota to 28 years in prison.

Abdiaziz Shafii Farah, 36, must also pay nearly $48 million in restitution. He faces potentially more years in prison at a later sentencing hearing after previously pleading guilty in a juror bribery case involving a bag of $120,000 in cash.

Farah is one of dozens of people charged in the Feeding Our Future case in which prosecutors alleged a scheme to steal $300 million from a federally funded program meant to feed children during the coronavirus pandemic.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett is a no-show boss from hell who terrorizes staffers, aides say: ‘All diva, no wow'
[NYPost] Rep. Jasmine Crockett has positioned herself as an unfiltered critic of President Trump, earning regular TV appearances and an enthusiastic online following, but congressional aides tell The Post that the Dallas Democrat is just as “rude” and mean to her own staff.

The liberal loudmouth, 44, has rocketed to fame since taking office in January 2023 as a fiery antagonist of the Republican president and his allies.

But three sources who have worked with or for Crockett say she’s rarely present when TV cameras aren’t rolling — and terrorizes staff when she does appear.

Crockett is not often found at her government-provided suite in the Longworth House Office Building, with one insider saying she prefers to work from her nearby luxury apartment building, sometimes for weeks on end.

“She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office, and is really just indifferent to staff and will scream at them,” the former aide said.

“She is never in the office and is very disengaged. She does her bulls— that goes viral, and then freaks out over the most random things.”

A second source close to Crockett’s team added: “It is widely known that she’s not nice to staff and is just not a really dedicated member focused on constituents.”

“She is focused almost exclusively on being an influencer, not a member of Congress,” said a third source who has worked with Crockett, describing her as “all diva, no wow.”

‘YOU’RE STUPID IF YOU THINK SO’
When Crockett does show up for work on Capitol Hill — often to attend a committee hearing where she deploys a made-for-social-media attack on Trump — she prefers to have a staff member drive her the short distance to her office in a rented car rather than the staffer’s own, a cheaper option commonly used by lawmakers.

The staffer is expected to stand outside the vehicle, which “has to be an Escalade” or similar upscale make, and open the door for her.

“You’re technically allowed to do this but it’s wildly inefficient. Instead of using the scheduler’s car, she rents a car every week in DC,” one source said.

“She expects her staff to drive her around while she’s in the back seat,” they added, calling it a “power play” akin to “treating the staffer like an Uber driver.”

Righting A Symbolic Wrong-Hegseth Returning Civil War Memorial Removed By Biden To Arlington National Cemetery
[DailyWire] "We don’t believe in erasing American history—we honor it.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Tuesday that a Civil War monument removed under the Biden administration from Arlington National Cemetery will be restored to its original location.

The monument, known as the Reconciliation Monument or the Confederate Memorial, was removed by the Pentagon in December 2023 under President Joe Biden because of its links to the Confederacy. First erected in 1914, the monument sat in a section of the cemetery where around 400 Confederate soldiers were buried.

“I’m proud to announce that Moses Ezekiel’s beautiful and historic sculpture — often referred to as ‘The Reconciliation Monument’ — will be rightfully be returned to Arlington National Cemetery near his burial site,” Hegseth announced on X. “It never should have been taken down by woke lemmings. Unlike the Left, we don’t believe in erasing American history—we honor it.”

In 1906, Secretary of War and future president William Howard Taft approved plans to construct a memorial near the Confederate graves. The monument was created by prominent Jewish American sculptor Moses Ezekiel, who fought for Virginia during the Civil War.

Featured on the monument are 14 shields referencing the 11 official Confederate states, and the border states of Maryland, Kentucky, and Missouri. There are also figures of southern soldiers and civilians alongside mythical gods.

The monument references Isaiah 2:4, a passage in the Bible that talks about turning swords into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks, a powerful message for a nation recovering from the trauma of war and the deaths of 600,000 Americans. Many presidents, including Barack Obama, have sent flowers to the monument on Memorial Day.

After the removal by the Biden administration, the monument was moved to a Defense Department storage facility in Virginia.

“At the request of Moses Ezekiel’s family and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Moses Ezekiel’s sculpture will be returned to Arlington National Cemetery,” Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin told the Blaze’s Beltway Brief, “where he is buried and where his legacy as a renowned American artist and decorated veteran can be honored.”
Youngkin added that the monument would be refurbished and would be back on display in Arlington by 2027.

Government Corruption
Texts and emails reveal Fulton County DA Fani Willis and Bill Barr worked together on the RICO case targeting Trump and more than a dozen other defendants.
[GatewayPundit] PROJECT VERITAS PART TWO: WHISTLEBLOWER: Bill Barr Held Secret Meetings to Plot Prosecutions of Trump and Block His Political Comeback (VIDEO)

Project Veritas on Thursday released part two of its whistleblower investigation into former US Attorney General Bill Barr.

On Tuesday, Project Veritas released a bombshell story from a whistleblower alleging former US Attorney General Bill Barr along with media figure Armstrong Williams is running an illegal immigration visa fraud scheme for elites and billionaires.

Patrícia Lélis, whistleblower, former Brazilian journalist at Howard Stirk Holdings, who is in hiding abroad, told Project Veritas that she was prosecuted after reporting Bill Barr and Armstrong William to the FBI.

On Thursday, Project Veritas released video of Lélis explaining how Bill Barr plotted prosecutions of Trump to block his political comeback.

“Bill Barr was like, we should bring RICO because it’s a very difficult type of charge to defend,” Lélis said.

Texts and emails reveal Fulton County DA Fani Willis and Bill Barr worked together on the RICO case targeting Trump and more than a dozen other defendants.

Per Project Veritas:

Patrícia Lélis, hired in 2021 by Armstrong Williams’ media company, Howard Stirk Holdings, claims she attended dozens of meetings where Barr and others devised legal strategies to target Trump supporters and block his political comeback. She provided Project Veritas with extensive handwritten notes and photos documenting these secret discussions which took place from 2021-2023.

Lélis detailed a September 13, 2021, meeting involving herself, Armstrong Williams, CNN Commentator Shermichael Singleton, and former Attorney General William P. Barr, which focused on strategizing for the newly formed January 6th Committee. “The investigation will be focused on people close to Trump and make efforts to formally prosecute these people,” Lélis wrote.

Her notes reveal that Barr provided a list of targets, including Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Stewart Rhodes, Enrique Tarrio, Jeffrey Clark, Oath Keepers, and Proud Boys. Following this meeting, many of these individuals were subsequently subpoenaed to testify before the January 6 Committee or faced charges related to January 6th or the 2020 election, demonstrating Barr’s apparent influence in driving the legal actions against them.

Project Veritas examined photos dated March 15, 2022, of Armstrong Williams and Bill Barr, alongside Lélis’ corresponding notes from a meeting at Sinclair Broadcast Group. The notes detail discussions revealing Barr was in talks with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and special prosecutor Jack Smith about planning prosecutions in Florida, Georgia, and New York. Lélis recorded that Barr predicted an FBI raid on Trump’s home would occur “soon.” Five months later, the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago.

CIA Deep Staters Reportedly Tried To Stop Tulsi Gabbard From Revealing Truth About Russiagate
[Daily Caller] Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard revealed the shaky and outright fabricated intelligence undergirding claims Russia aspired to elect President Donald Trump in a report with few redactions over the objections of bureaucrats at multiple intelligence agencies, according to a Washington Post report.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and other agencies reportedly invoked concerns about the exposure of "sources and methods," the paper reported, citing anonymous people "familiar with the matter." Two former CIA officials who concluded in 2017 that Russia aided Trump told the paper they stood by their assessment.

The CIA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Having reached the point where neither denial or open admissions are appropriate.

Gabbard has accused former President Barack Obama and his then-intelligence chiefs — CIA Director John Brennan, DNI James Clapper and FBI Director James Comey — of a conspiracy to undermine Trump and disregard the will of the American people in the 2016 election.

The 46-page report, dated September 2020, was based on 2,300 hours of investigation and 20 interviews in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility at CIA headquarters. CIA higher-ups would not permit the report to be transported from CIA grounds until recent weeks when CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Trump intervened, the Post reported.

Counting Illegals, Gaining Power: Democrats Rigged The 2020 Census
[American Liberty] President Trump’s call for a mid-decade census has been met with the predictable clamor of objections, legalistic squabbles, and cries of partisanship. But strip away the politics, and one finds a more elemental issue: representation rooted in reality versus power propped up by error. In 2020, the US Census Bureau, to its credit, admitted what is perhaps the most consequential mistake in its modern history. Through its own Post-Enumeration Survey, it revealed that it had severely undercounted Republican-leaning states like Texas, Florida, and Tennessee, while substantially overcounting Democrat strongholds such as Minnesota, Rhode Island, and New York. The resulting distortion stripped states like Texas and Florida of seats they rightly earned and awarded phantom representation to states like Minnesota and Rhode Island. This was not a statistical quibble but a systemic fracture in our representative republic. When population counts determine congressional seats and electoral votes, such errors do not merely skew data. They rig elections.

FBI ousts former acting director, agent involved in J6 prosecutions, with more expected
[FoxNews] Sources describe the departures as 'retribution,' though reasons remain unclear

The FBI on Thursday is ousting at least three officials, including the former acting director and an officer involved in the January 6 investigations, Fox News has learned.

Former FBI acting director, Brian Driscoll, is among those being forced out of the bureau, sources familiar with the matter told Fox News, along with Walter Giardina, a special agent at the bureau who played a role in the investigation of Trump trade advisor, Peter Navarro, and Steven Jensen, the acting director in charge of the Washington Field Office.

Driscoll, for his part, served as acting director of the FBI prior to the confirmation of FBI Director Kash Patel, and Jensen played a key role in the January 6 investigations.

Senior FBI officials told the agents in question that they needed to leave by Friday, with no specific reason given to them individually.

One individual with knowledge of the removals described it as "retribution."

Individuals familiar with the matter told Fox News that more ousters are expected at the bureau by the end of the week, though the exact number of personnel included, or their roles at the bureau, are unclear.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro refused to answer several questions from Fox News about the FBI ousters during a press conference Thursday morning.

Still, news of their removals comes months after thousands of FBI personnel in February were forced to fill out a sprawling questionnaire asking employees detailed questions about any role they may have played in the investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riots — ranging from whether they had testified in any criminal trials to when they last participated in investigation-related activity.

The questionnaire, first reported by Fox News Digital, sparked urgent fears about politicization within the bureau, and concern that it could be used to retaliate against agents involved in the January 6 investigations.

Those concerns reached a fever pitch later that month, after then-Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove ordered the bureau to compile a list of all current and former personnel who worked on investigations related to January 6, 2021, riots case.

That information included details on "thousands" of employees, including their unique identifying number, their current title and their role and title at the time of the investigation.

A group of nine current FBI agents and employees in U.S. District Court later filed a lawsuit over the list, citing fears that it could threaten their careers and risks disrupting the bureau's essential work.

Former Justice Department officials have cited concerns that the probe or any retaliatory measures carried out as a result could have a chilling effect on the work of the FBI, including its more than 52 separate field offices.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents Association (FBIAA), a voluntary professional association that represents more than 14,000 active and retired FBI special agents, told Fox News in a statement on Thursday that they are "deeply concerned" about the reported oustings and said they are "actively reviewing all legal options" to defend FBI agents who were summarily fired from the bureau without cause or process.

The FBIAA is "deeply concerned by reports that FBI Special Agents—case agents and senior leaders alike—are going to be summarily fired without due process for doing their jobs investigating potential federal crimes," the group said in a statement.

"Agents are not given the option to pick and choose their cases, and these agents carried out their assignments with professionalism and integrity. Most importantly, they followed the law," the FBIAA said.

Former FBI and Department of Justice officials previously warned in interviews with Fox News Digital that such firings, while within Trump's authority, could have a chilling effect on the rest of the bureau should the administration move to get rid of the personnel involved in the Jan. 6 investigations.

The Trump administration has not yet said whether it will move to take action against the individuals involved.

In February, President Donald Trump declined to answer questions over whether his administration would remove FBI employees involved in the investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot, telling reporters only that he believes the bureau is "corrupt" and that then-FBI director nominee, Kash Patel, would "straighten it out."

The FBI did not respond to Fox News' request for comment.

More from the Daily Mail.

Appears to be a long-awaited housecleaning. Driscoll was not forthcoming, hence the "sprawling questionnaire." Written sworn statements which can be fact checked tend to be fairly accurate, especially when a threat to one's job and federal charges are potentially involved.

Something tells me we have yet to see the worst of this sordid Jan 6 business.

Nancy Pelosi Alarmingly Incoherent in Remarks Outside San Francisco VA Hospital
[Red State] Just because former President Joe Biden's decline while in office has been confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt, thanks in part to ongoing investigations as well as conveniently timed books from reporters on the matter, doesn't mean questions about the mental acuity of those who are still serving in government have gone away or should go away.

We've written before, for instance, about the periodic incoherency that has come from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), with interviews done and video clips shared on social media from time to time that are, as my RedState colleague Rusty Weiss described, the equivalent of "nightmare fuel" for people concerned with the health and well-being of those on Capitol Hill who we are supposed to believe are sharp enough to be able to thoughtfully consider and vote on bills that impact millions of Americans.

US Attorney Jeanine Pirro backs Trump's DC takeover threat and demand for lower prosecution age limit
[NYPOST] US Attorney Jeanine Pirro said in an interview Wednesday that she supports President Trump's threat to federalize Washington, DC, if local officials don't crack down on youth crime — arguing that juvenile delinquents are ''coddled'' in cities run by Democrats
...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
.

Pirro, the top prosecutor in the nation's capital, fumed that she's not allowed to charge minors accused of violent mostly peaceful crimes and backed Trump's push to lower the age of legal accountability to as young as 14, in an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham.
Jeanine Pirro listening to Donald Trump
...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...
.
Pirro noted that youth crime is on the rise in DC and fumed that she is unable to prosecute most minor offenders. AP

''I support him totally,'' Pirro said of Trump's warning Tuesday that he would bring the District of Columbia under federal control if laws aren't changed to prosecute minors as adults. ''If that's what we need to do to get it done, that's what he should do. And I support the president.''

''He's the only one coming here saying, 'I want to make [DC] safe and beautiful.' I haven't heard anyone say that besides him,'' Pirro added.

During her appearance on ''The Ingraham Angle,'' the former Fox News host and New York district attorney noted that she spoke to Trump on Tuesday — when he issued the takeover threat — and explained the situation in DC.
