#1  Who paid off the EPA?

#2  The EPA worked for the Biden cartel. Only had to make sure the 'big guy' got his cut.

#3  Plenty of blame to go around. Some kind of lawsuit is probably necessary just to force transparency. It very well may be that blowing the tank cars and burning the chemicals was the least bad option available, and in line with the EPA rules on hazardous materials handling. But, what about the rest of the system - tracks, cars, emergency response, regulations pertaining to handling, etc.

Science & Technology
CZ P-10 C Ported
[FE] Finding something that truly sticks out in a crowd is a challenge, but it’s what we all strive to find in our lives. Whether it’s cars, houses, clothes, or women...finding the right one is no easy task. It’s the same with guns.

Guns, just like the rest of everything we love, often blend into the plethora of models available on the market, especially in the world of striker-fired pistols. While most blend in and offer similar features, there’s a lot more to consider than just a price tag on a shelf.

Luckily with CZ’s new P-10 C Ported, the addition of a compensator up front catches the eye and makes it look mean, so it’s winning half the battle.

Don Jr. on the hunt. No extra charge.

US to ditch B-1B bombers due to their vulnerability to Russian air defenses
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The US Air Force is likely to abandon the B-1B Lancer strategic bombers, since they do not meet the current level of air defense of potential adversaries — Russia and China. This was reported on July 16 by the American magazine The National Interest (TNI).

"As the U.S. Air Force shifts its focus to air-to-air conflicts, the B-1B Lancer's moderate stealth makes it less suited to modern peer-to-peer conflicts. While it remains a relatively effective long-range bomber, the B-1B's days are numbered," the publication states.

The authors of the article point out that against the backdrop of its increasingly powerful competitors with modern air defense systems, the B-1B Lancer looks outdated. At the same time, given the US focus on countering future threats, the country's air force will only need the most effective machines.

As reported by Regnum News Agency, on July 17, the WSJ also noted that Russian ballistic missiles are creating difficulties for Patriot air defense missile systems in Ukraine, since they bypass their radars. According to the source of the publication, in recent months, Patriot air defense missile system radars have failed to detect Russian missiles.

Konstantin Sivkov, Deputy President for Information Policy at the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences, also previously stated that Russia, if certain conditions are met, would be able to repel an attack by American Tomahawk missiles.

#1  The whole point of the B-1 was to streak into the USSR at supersonic speeds and nuke them before they could react.
The B-31 is similarly already obsolete. Billions spent, and for what?
No detention centers for illegal aliens but the military-industrial complex gets everything it wants.
I'm starting to think weapons and military aren't good use of our money.
And maybe we should stop starting wars all over the planet.
Maybe it's just me.
We should nominate a presidential candidate and have him run on an explicitly anti-war platform.
And then elect him in a landslide, handing him a democratic mandate.
And we still went to war with Iran.
Why exactly, again?
Oh right because Iran tried to assassinate our anti-war candidate.
Netanyahu confirmed it, Mossad intelligence said Iran was behind it.

#5  And we still went to war with Iran.
Why exactly, again?

Because your nation-builder Bush II turned Iran into a regional superpower by turning Iran's only natural enemy into Iranian province?

#6  And we still went to war with Iran.

Ever since they stormed our embassy and took the diplomatic staff hostages. They've at least treated war as war unlike those Westerners who try to avoid calling it what it is.

#7  ....It's been understood for a while now that USAF wanted to retire the Bone somewhere in the early 2030s - they have always been maintenance hogs and frankly they're not getting any better. That was however dependent on getting what became the B-21 into service on time and in sufficient numbers - which looks like it's going to happen, more or less. Mr. Bone has at least 10 years left.

#8  The B-1 won’t be retired any more than the B-52 will be retired. It is still useful and the cost of replacement is exorbitant.

#9  "Billions spent, and for what?"
Well, for deterrence, and it has worked, so far ... no nuclear wars....
Posted by: Glenmore || 07/19/2025 15:34 Comments || Top||

#10  (And to maintain some degree of R & D & manufacturing capability for future possible wars ... we are in the 1930s, building P-40s etc. for use in China and USSR, and developing the P-51s for when we needed them.)

Orbital 3D mapping system
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Text taken from the Telegram page of darpaandcia

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin is in italics.

[ColonelCassad] In 2025, the CIA venture fund In-Q-Tel financed the Array Labs startup, which is developing a fundamentally new space imaging system - clusters of miniature satellites capable of creating three-dimensional maps of any point on the planet with unprecedented accuracy.

Array Labs is developing a system consisting of compact satellites the size of a small box that fly in coordinated clusters and simultaneously irradiate the target with radio signals. The satellites work as a single virtual antenna, creating detailed three-dimensional models of the surface.

The key advantage of the system is obtaining a volumetric three-dimensional model in one pass instead of multiple flybys by conventional satellites. The accuracy of geolocation reaches 20 centimeters, and the system works in any weather, through clouds, smoke and camouflage.

Data is processed using special algorithms developed jointly with Raytheon as part of the Site3D product. Array Labs will be able to determine the real type of any vessel by analyzing its exact dimensions and height above the water.

The system will build a three-dimensional model of the ship with an accuracy of up to 20 centimeters and compare it with the database.

On the battlefield, the Array Labs system turns into an effective tool for tracking ground targets. The technology allows you to highlight objects even in difficult conditions, which makes camouflage less effective against radar surveillance.

The system is also able to detect changes in the structure of objects and terrain, creating detailed maps for monitoring infrastructure and analyzing changes over time.

Array Labs uses a set of advanced technologies to create a high-precision surveillance system: Coherent radar is a method in which satellites work in concert, precisely synchronizing their signals. This creates interference images that allow them to detect the slightest changes in objects such as buildings, bridges, or the earth's surface.

High-speed data transmission - a combination of different communication channels enables the transmission of large amounts of data directly to ground terminals. Real-time data processing - artificial intelligence algorithms allow for rapid analysis of intelligence information and the identification of important objects.Inter-satellite communication - satellites communicate with each other, creating their own communication network to coordinate the work of the cluster.

Array Labs plans to launch the next demonstration mission in 2026, followed by the deployment of the first production cluster of four satellites to provide regular coverage with the ability to scale to a global level.

The company has already successfully launched two demonstration satellites in 2024.

It is quite clear in what direction they are digging. In the future, such a system can be integrated into the concept of multi-domain operations and interfaced with military satellite communication systems with access through a single terminal/tablet.

The war in Ukraine clearly demonstrates the increased operational value of satellite intelligence data and satellite communication systems.
