UK ‘condemns’ ‘Death to IDF’ chants led by rapper at Glastonbury festival; police probing UPDATE: US State Dept. to pull Bob Vylan visas before tour
”Just say something to shut up the Jew-lovers — then we can get back to enjoying the music.” There are no surprises here — everyone knows what both bands are about, as well as the BBC, and clearly the powers that be agree with the sentiment or there would have been some sort of punishment. Follow up to this story from yesterday.
[IsraelTimes] Minister calls performance by duo Bob Vylan ‘appalling,’ but also lashes Israel over settler violence, Gaza humanitarian crisis; BBC screened act live, is asked to explain why

The British government said on Sunday that the BBC had questions to answer over anti-Israel chants by musicians at the Glastonbury music festival that police are probing.

Officers are studying videos of rapper Bobby Vylan leading crowds in chants of "Death, death to the IDF," the acronym for the Israeli army, during his set on Saturday.
They apparently doubled their social media followers with this one trick, so perhaps selling their souls was worth it. On the other hand, that’s the kind of thing that’s a red mark for a visa application to the US State Department now, so hopefully they hadn’t planned to turn that increased social media presence into a profitable tour of the States. Kneecap’s Mo Chara just had to give up a sold out American tour because his visa was revoked.
They are also examining comments by outspoken Irish rap trio Kneecap, one of whose members wore a T-shirt dedicated to Paleostine Action Group, which is about to be banned under UK terror laws.

The IDF chants, condemned by the Israeli embassy in London, were broadcast live on the BBC, which airs coverage of Britannia’s most popular music festival.

"I thought it’s appalling, to be honest, and I think the BBC and Glastonbury have got questions to answer about how we saw such a spectacle on our screens," Health Secretary Wes Streeting told Sky News.

The Israeli embassy said in a statement late Saturday that it was "deeply disturbed by the inflammatory and hateful rhetoric expressed on stage at the Glastonbury Festival."

But Streeting also took aim at the embassy, telling it to "get your own house in order."

"I think there’s a serious point there by the Israeli embassy. I wish they’d take the violence of their own citizens towards Paleostinians more seriously," he said, citing settler violence in the West Bank and the humanitarian crisis in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Streeting made similar remarks in an interview with the BBC.

Meanwhile,
...back at the buffalo wallow, Standing Buffalo drew a bead on his old enemy and squeezed the trigger...
organizers of the Glastonbury Festival said in a statement that they were "appalled" by the anti-Israel chants in Vylan’s set.
A tad too disingenuous there — try reading the line with more honest shock. They were warming up the crowd for Kneecap, which was rewarded with a spot in the Glastonbury lineup for exactly the same thing. That sure looks like approval to me.
“Their chants very much crossed a line, and we are urgently reminding everyone involved in the production of the festival that there is no place at Glastonbury for antisemitism, hate speech, or incitement to violence,” said the festival.

“With almost 4,000 performances at Glastonbury 2025, there will inevitably be artists and speakers appearing on our stages whose views we do not share, and a performer’s presence here should never be seen as a tacit endorsement of their opinions and beliefs,” it added.
Yeah? How many openly pro-Israel performers were in the line up this year? Last year? The year before?
A UK government spokesperson said Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy contacted the BBC’s director general to seek explanation on how Vylan’s show was broadcast.

“We strongly condemn the threatening comments made by Bob Vylan at Glastonbury,” the spokesperson added.

The BBC said it issued a warning on screen about “very strong and discriminatory language” during the livestream.
And yet they continued airing the performance live, instead of turning away in disgust. Because they were not in the least disgusted.
A spokesperson for the BBC said some of the comments by Vylan, part of British duo Bob Vylan, were “deeply offensive” and the broadcaster had “no plans to make the performance available on demand.”

Streeting was referring to an incident last week in which settlers reportedly attacked the West Bank village of Kafr Malik, torching cars and buildings. During clashes with IDF troops who arrived on the scene, three Palestinians were killed.

Amid the anti-Israel rhetoric from some of the performers at the music festival, which draws some 200,000 people annually, some in the crowd used the tradition of waving large flags during performances as an opportunity to draw attention to the plight of the hostages taken by Hamas during the October 7, 2023, invasion of southern Israel.

They also drew attention to the victims of the October 7 massacre at the Nova music festival, where some 380 people were brutally killed.

One image circulating online showed a black flag with a yellow ribbon emblazoned on it waving above a flag reading “We Will Dance Again” — the name of a documentary about the Nova festival massacre.
Which Zionists know about, but everyone else just thinks is about dancing.
‘A JOKE’
Avon and Somerset police said Saturday that video evidence would be assessed by officers “to determine whether any offenses may have been committed that would require a criminal investigation.”

Kneecap, who have made headlines in recent months with its pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel stance, led crowds in a chant against UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Starmer had said the band should not perform after its member Liam O’Hanna, known by his stage name Mo Chara, was charged with a terror offense.

O’Hanna appeared in court earlier this month accused of having displayed a Hezbollah flag while saying “Up Hamas, Up Hezbollah” after a video resurfaced of a London concert last year.

The Iran-backed Lebanese terror group Hezbollah and the Palestinian terror group Hamas are banned in the UK, and it is an offense to express support for them.

O’Hanna has denied the charge and told the Guardian in an interview published Friday that “it was a joke — we’re playing characters.”

Kneecap regularly lead crowds in chants of “Free Palestine” during its concerts. Its fans revere band members for their anti-establishment stance and criticism of British imperialism but critics call them extremists.

The group apologized this year after a 2023 video emerged appearing to show one singer calling for the death of British Conservative lawmakers.

Update from the Daily Wire at 8:55 a.m. EDT:
A senior State Department official told The Daily Wire that it is “already looking at revocation” of their visas ahead of a roughly twenty-city tour through the United States, with performances planned in several major cities, including Washington, D.C.

“As a reminder, under the Trump Administration, the U.S. government will not issue visas to any foreigner who supports terrorists,” the senior official said.

Vocalist Pascal Robinson-Foster uses the stage name Bobby Vylan for his punk duo Bob Vylan—a name that nods to legendary Jewish singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, who released the pro-Israel song ‘Neighborhood Bully’ in 1983.

While performing at England’s annual Glastonbury Music Festival — which was live streamed on the BBC — Vylan incited his crowd of thousands to chant, “Death, death to the IDF.”

The organizers of the terrorist attack in Crocus planned the death of the perpetrators
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
The Russian constabulary can be quite convincing...

[Regnum] The immediate perpetrators of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall were supposed, according to the organizers, to resist the security forces and die. This was stated by one of the four perpetrators, Saidokram Murodali Rachabolizoda.

According to him, the coordinator stated that when the security forces arrived on the scene, they would have to engage in battle with them and die.
But dying a martyr sends them straight to Paradise. Why on earth would they not want to die that way? No Paradise, no girls — just like their entire life before.
“However, on March 21, 2024, sent a voice message to [Shamsidin] Fariduni (included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of terrorists and extremists), in which he indicated that he still needed us, that it was too early to die and after committing the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall we needed to go to Kiev, that is, to the territory of Ukraine, where, upon meeting with the Ukrainian guys, we would receive 1 million rubles each for our work, that is, for the terrorist attack committed,” TASS quotes him as saying.

The perpetrators of the terrorist attack tried to go to Ukraine to get the promised money there, he explained. According to the terrorist, a group was waiting for them in the Bryansk region to help them cross the border with Ukraine.

As reported by the Regnum news agency, Rachabolizoda, Fariduni and their two accomplices, Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev and Mukhammadsobir Faizov (included in the list of terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring), burst into the Crocus City Hall with weapons in their hands on the evening of March 22 last year. They opened fire on visitors and employees of the concert hall, and then started a fire. Having escaped after the attack in a car, they headed towards Ukraine and were detained in the Bryansk region.

The attack left 149 people dead and 609 injured. One person is missing.

The perpetrators of the Crocus attack admitted that they received weapons from Ukraine

The perpetrators of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall admitted during interrogations that they received weapons from the territory of Ukraine. This became known on June 29 when the testimony was published.

“Since the customer of this terrorist attack was a Ukrainian state structure, the weapons arrived in Moscow from the territory of Ukraine,” RIA Novosti quoted the testimony of one of the accused.

He also said that it was easier to smuggle weapons from Ukraine than from any other country. In addition, the terrorists had a pistol, and they bought each a knife.

Investigators also established that after committing the crime, the terrorists went to Kyiv, where they were promised to be paid 1 million rubles each. At the same time, the organizers of the terrorist attack in Crocus planned for the perpetrators to die, resisting the security forces.

US envoy says Turkey to have key role on ‘new road’ for Mideast after Israel-Iran war
Is it wise to puff up President Erdogan’s neo-Ottoman pretensions and international Muslim Brotherhood connections?
[IsraelTimes] The Israel-Iran war has opened the way to a “new road” for the Middle East in which Turkey will have a key role to play, Washington’s envoy to Turkey says.

“What just happened between Israel and Iran is an opportunity for all of us to say: Time out. Let’s create a new road, (and) Turkiye is key in that new road,” Ambassador Tom Barrack, who is also the US special envoy to Syria, tells the Anadolu state news agency.

Jordan refuses to play Israel in youth basketball World Cup — reports
[IsraelTimes] After weeks of speculation, Jordan’s national basketball team has informed the international basketball federation FIBA that it will not field a team to play against Israel today in the 2025 Under-19 Basketball World Cup, according to Hebrew media reports.

Israel will automatically gain a 20-0 technical victory over Jordan.
The proper response is a one-year suspension and a fine to be paid to the Israeli team for the cost of their expenses to show up, but hardly anyone seems to think actually punishing such unsportsmanlike behaviour necessary.
It defeated Switzerland handily 102-77 last night in its first-ever U-19 World Cup game, while Jordan fell to the Dominican Republic.

“On behalf of the Basketball Association, I regret the decision of the Jordanian team,” says Israel Basketball Association chairman Amos Frishman, according to the Walla news site.

“I had hoped that the Jordanians would still come to play to show everyone that it is possible otherwise, especially during this time. I believe that sport is a bridge between peoples and cultures and not a political arena. I hope that in the future there will be no doubt about holding of these games.”

#1  /\, No, the 'Proper Response' would be to award the defacto 'win' to Israel, and move on!

#2  That’s what they did, Phatch Sproing2490. But that’s the same thing that would happen if the team bus got a flat tire and they were stuck halfway to the arena. That teaches that unsportsmanlike conduct, when aimed at Jooooooos, is perfectly acceptable.

Argentina accuses Iran of threatening IAEA head Grossi
[IsraelTimes] Argentina has condemned what it said were threats against UN nuclear watchdog chief Rafael Grossi after Iran rejected his request to visit nuclear facilities bombed by Israel and the United States.

Tehran has accused Grossi, an Argentine, of “betrayal of his duties” for not condemning the Israeli and US strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites this month, and Iranian lawmakers voted to suspend cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency which he leads.

Argentina’s foreign ministry expresses its support for Grossi, saying it “categorically condemns the threats against him coming from Iran.”

The ministry also urges Iranian authorities to guarantee the safety of the IAEA chief and his team, and “refrain from any action that could put them at risk,” according to a statement on social media platform X.

It does not specify what threats Grossi has received.

On Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on X that “Grossi’s insistence on visiting the bombed sites under the pretext of safeguards is meaningless and possibly even malign in intent.”

Iran has said it believes an IAEA resolution on June 12 that accused Iran of ignoring its nuclear obligations served as an “excuse” for the 12-day war Israel launched on June 13.

In an interview with CBS News that aired Saturday, Grossi said Iran likely will be able to begin to produce enriched uranium “in a matter of months,” despite damage to several nuclear facilities from the recent strikes.

Iraq
Yazidi victim of ISIS atrocity reunited with family
Two days ago we learnt he’d been found. Today he came home.
[Rudaw] A Yazidi man, previously held by the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS), was reunited with his family on Sunday after being found in Syria - thanks to successful efforts by the Kurdistan Region Presidency.

Rawand N.H. is one of the thousands of Yazidis who were kidnapped by ISIS in their hometown of Shingal in northern Iraq more than a decade ago. He was freed in Syria nearly two weeks ago and was reunited with family in Duhok province on Sunday.

"I have never felt this much joy in my life," he told Rudaw on Sunday, expressing his happiness at being reunited with his family.

He added that he spent most of his 11 years in Syria’s Raqqa and the vicinity of the city.

Rawad is unable to speak in his mother tongue, Kurdish, anymore. He spoke in Arabic in Duhok.

His uncle, Haji Hame, thanked Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani for reuniting Rawand with his family.

"We had registered all eight members of the family as deaders. Thankfully, this one emerged alive," he told Rudaw after receiving his nephew in Duhok’s Batifa.

The uncle also noted that the Office of Rescuing Abducted Yazidis, which is affiliated with the Kurdistan Region Presidency, informed him a month ago that they had found his nephew.

"He will live with me because he has no one else left alive," said Rawand’s uncle.

Hame also said that 77 members of Rawand’s extended family were kidnapped by ISIS when the group attacked Shingal in 2014, adding that 39 remain unaccounted for.

After Trump intervenes again, critics accuse Netanyahu of trading Gaza deal for end of trial
[IsraelTimes] Opposition politicians accuse Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of selling out Israel’s national security for his own personal interests, after US President Donald Trump

They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects...
MK Naama Lazimi argues that by "trading his indictment in exchange for a political settlement and an end to the war," Netanyahu demonstrated his unfitness for office, alleging that he is "conditioning the future of Israel and our children on his trial."

"Those behind President Trump’s tweet are Netanyahu and his corrupt gang," agrees fellow Democrats politician Gilad Kariv, condemning Netanyahu and his circle’s "willingness to ’play’ with the national security of the State of Israel and the issue of the hostages in order to save Netanyahu from conviction in court."

Netanyahu is "acting against the Israeli public interest" by linking his legal troubles with the issue of the hostages and regional normalization agreements, tweets Yesh Atid MK Karine Elharrar, charging that Trump’s post had conditioned US aid on the prime minister’s trial.

In a late night post on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated that the United States was "not going to stand" for the continued prosecution of Netanyahu, whom he described as a "war hero" targeted by "out-of-control prosecutors."

Trump argued that "this travesty of ’justice’ will interfere with both Iran

"The United States of America spends billions of dollar(s) a year, far more than on any other nation, protecting and supporting Israel," noted Trump in what some in Israel took as an implicit threat.

"MAKE THE DEAL IN GAZA. GET THE HOSTAGES BACK!!!" he added in a second post on Saturday night.

In a lengthy Truth Social post on Thursday evening, Trump professed to be shocked that Israel was "continuing its ridiculous Witch Hunt against their Great War Time Prime Minister," declaring that his trial "should be CANCELLED, IMMEDIATELY, or a Pardon given to a Great Hero, who has done so much for the State."

New IDF division readying to start guarding entire Jordan border
No doubt a good idea.
[IsraelTimes] The IDF’s new 96th Division, set to be responsible for the entire Jordan border area, completed a first division-level drill last week, the military announces.

The exercise on Thursday simulated “emergency scenarios and rapid response to sudden events, while increasing the division’s readiness for combat,” the IDF says.

The IDF adds that the drill was “conducted in cooperation with various security bodies and local authorities.”

The 96th Division, which goes by the nickname Gilad, completed a rapid formation within a 48-hour period during the war with Iran, after initially being set for deployment on August 1. It took up responsibility for the northern Jordan Valley area.

The division is eventually set to operate from the Israel-Jordan-Syria tri-border area in the north down to Ramon Airport in southern Israel, also encompassing the Yoav Regional Brigade, currently part of the 80th “Edom” Division. Part of the territory includes the West Bank.

Israel returns to normalcy: Haifa oil refinery resumes operations after shutdown due to Iranian missile strike
[IsraelTimes] Israel’s Oil Refineries says it has partly resumed activities at its Haifa facility, which was shut down following an Iranian missile strike two weeks ago.

Israel’s Oil Refineries, or Bazan, says in a regulatory filing in Tel Aviv that it was gradually restoring operations and would likely be fully operational by October. It noted that it holds insurance covering damage and profit losses of up to $250 million caused by acts of terrorism and war.

The company said on June 15 that its pipelines and transmission lines in Haifa had been damaged by Iranian missile strikes, which killed three employees, and that it was examining the impact of the damage on its operations and implications on its financial results.

Energy Minister Eli Cohen says separately that Israel’s energy system “functioned flawlessly throughout the war, and the swift resolution of the issue at Bazan is further proof of the strength and resilience of Israel’s energy sector.”

State approves immediate return home of 7 of 13 worst-hit Gaza border communities
[IsraelTimes] Defense Ministry withdraws prohibitions after Tekuma Directorate completes many repairs; state will generally stop supporting rental payments for the seven, with some exceptions

The government on Sunday greenlighted the immediate return of residents to seven of the 13 communities worst hit by the Hamas
..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",...
terror invasion of southern Israel on October 7, 2023.

Authorities lifted all military bans and announced the completion of essential renovations that will enable members of Re’im, Kerem Shalom, Nirim, Ein Hashlosha, Sufa, Nir Yitzhak, and Netiv Ha’asara to return home starting Tuesday, should they wish it.

After July 31, the state will cease subsidizing rental accommodations for individuals from these communities who do not return.

In August, essential works are expected to be completed in Nahal Oz, enabling residents to return there before the start of the next school year.

A green light for Kissufim residents is expected in November 2025, with Holit, Kfar Aza, and Be’eri following in 2026.

Kibbutz Nir Oz was largely destroyed on October 7 when Hamas forces of Evil entered all but six of over 200 homes in the small community and either murdered or kidnapped one of every four residents — 117 people out of some 400.

The kibbutz had held out for what it saw as an acceptable deal, only agreeing with the state recently on a plan to invest over NIS 350 million ($95 million) in rehabilitation and redevelopment. Planning has just begun, and residents continue to live in state-subsidized apartments in the southern city of Kiryat Gat. There is no return date set.

Ze’ev Elkin, the minister with the overall charge of rehabilitating the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. border area in the south and the Lebanese border region in the north, said Sunday: "Thanks to a deep partnership with the communities, the Tekuma Directorate [responsible for rehabilitating the Gaza border area] and local authorities, we were able to shorten schedules, expand budgets, and create an infrastructure that allows not only a return, but growth as well."

He vowed that the Gaza border area would be "restored, developed, and be a symbol of the strength, resilience and resurrection of Israeli society as a whole."

Aviad Friedman, head of the Tekuma Directorate, said that with the removal of the security limitations, residents will be "able to return to their homes as a community."

Nir Mesika, head of the directorate’s Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Division, said his colleagues had understood in the early days that "given the extraordinary events on every scale that occurred in the region on October 7, the physical rehabilitation had to be different."

The framework created by the directorate allowed the communities to take responsibility for their own rehabilitation, "with the understanding that this was the way to advance the healing and rehabilitation processes of the communities themselves," he continued. "We will continue to work with full vigor, together with the communities, until the entire process of building and rehabilitating the settlements in the region is completed."

LOUD BOOMS, CRACKING WALLS, AND A FUTURE UNKNOWN
Immediately after the Hamas invasion, which saw some 1,200 people in southern Israel slaughtered and 251 kidnapped to the Gaza Strip, the state evacuated 46 rural communities and the city of Sderot — all of which fall within seven kilometers (4.3 miles) of the Gaza border.

By the end of May 2025, the Tekuma Directorate said that 92 percent of the population had returned home.

The state aims to double the number of Gaza border residents from 64,000 as of October 6, 2023, to 120,000 by October 2033.

However,
man does not live by words alone, despite the fact that sometimes he has to eat them...
it remains impossible to predict how many of the 5,000 residents from the 13 most battered communities will ultimately return, or how long those who do return will stay.

The Habayta Forum (habayta means "homebound" in Hebrew), which represents the hardest-hit communities, estimated in May that 30% would not go back. The State Comptroller’s projection was 13%.
Back in the day, Bibi had tailored his studies at MIT in architecture and business management toward understanding how to more effectively alleviate Israel’s acute housing shortage, so he’s probably enjoying this as a break from all the life, death, and political stuff.
The IDF is continuing to operate in Gaza, and Israeli communities nearby are having to cope with the secondary effects of the deafening explosions that have reduced much of the Strip to little more than rubble.

Loud booms from airstrikes rock towns near the border at all hours of the day and sometimes into the early morning.

Since renovations were completed to repair the damage wrought by invading terrorists, the shockwaves radiating from massive explosions in the Strip have left cracks on every building in Kibbutz Nirim, “without exception,” according to community manager Maya Liberman.

“Shutters fall out, windows burst, doors dislocate, pergolas separate from houses, and drinking glasses break. The kibbutz just moves,” Liberman told The Times of Israel, adding, “There are also big underground pipe bursts that were never an issue before this war.”

The loud noises are the result of IDF strikes on Hamas infrastructure and underground tunnels.

REHABILITATION IS ‘MORE THAN PLASTER AND PAINT’
“You don’t have to be clever to understand that there’s a war on, and it’s very hard to be here [close to the border] and to sleep, said Ziv Mazliach, chairman of the Habayta Forum and a member of Kfar Aza currently living in Kibbutz Ruhama, east of Sderot. “I live in Ruhama, and my house moves whenever [the IDF] bombs northern Gaza. I don’t know how many will come back even if the army decides it’s okay.”

He drew attention to a survey published by the Forum in May which found that many border residents were feeling economically squeezed and emotionally and mentally vulnerable.

The poll found that only 45% of 585 respondents from 11 frontline communities had full-time work, compared with 70% before October 7. Among the 28.1% who were not working at all, nearly half (45%) reported that this was due to mental and emotional reasons.

Interdenominational church group rebuked after accusing Israel of apartheid, possible genocide
[IsraelTimes] B’nai B’rith International has condemned a statement by the World Council of Churches accusing Israel of “apartheid” and possible “genocide,” and calling for sanctions.

The WCC, an organization bringing together 356 cross-denominational churches from more than 120 countries who represent over 580 million Christians worldwide, issued a sharp rebuke of Israel at its central committee meeting in Johannesburg on June 24.
Is there something in the water down there?
While claiming that it stands against racism and antisemitism, the WCC said it was in “deep lamentation and outrage” that Israel is “flagrantly violating international humanitarian and human rights law as well as the most basic principles of morality.” It called on states, churches, and international institutions to “impose consequences for violations of international law, including targeted sanctions, divestment, and arms embargoes.”
That’s the modern definition of antisemitism, which means hating Jews while pretending they only mean Israel.
B’nai B’rith says the WCC is “beyond the pale for engagement by the mainstream Jewish community,” calling on its backers to redirect their support to non-political organizations instead.

“Tragically, the WCC on its current trajectory cannot be a credible contributor to peace, justice and reconciliation,” says B’nai B’rith’s director of United Nations and Intercommunal Affairs,

David Michaels. “As long as it habitually singles out a Jewish democracy alone for the wildest possible demonization—and shows zero actual concern for the lives, legitimacy and human rights of its diverse people—its claim to care about antisemitism is a forgery.”

“Israel is the Middle East’s sole democracy; it has protected Christian life and pursued peace with every single Arab neighbor,” Michaels continues. “Yet the WCC is moved only to discern and deplore ‘occupation,’ ‘apartheid’ and even ‘genocide’ in the case of Israel. Even now, Iran and its allied exterminationists go unmentioned. This is nothing less than false witness and moral bankruptcy.”

Fatwa Calling for Muslims to Assassinate President Trump, PM Netanyahu Issued by Iranian Ayatollah
[GatewayPundit] If I recall correctly, they both were already under threat from Muslim assassins, including inspired by Iran.

Iranian Shiite Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, 98, issued a fatwa calling on Muslims worldwide to assassinate President Donald Trump, as well as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The semi-official Iranian news outlet Mehr News Agency reported on its English language site on Sunday (excerpt):

Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi has issued a fatwa in which he declares anyone who threatens Leader, and Shia Marja to be the Enemy of God, who has to be fought against according to Islamic teachings.

After threats were made by the criminal American president
…Trump….
and the leaders of the child-killing Zionist regime
…Netanyahu…
against the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the senior Shiite clerics known as Marja, a group of believers submitted a request to His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi regarding the duties of Muslims in response to such threats. Grand Ayatollah Makarem response to the question put forward by his followers is as follows:

"Any person or regime that threatens the Leader or Marja (May God forbid) is considered an enemy of God," Grand Ayatollah Makarem said in his Fatwa, which is a response to the question to him.

This is a popular one: Elmerert Hupens2660 and NoMoreBS also submitted this story.

US-backed forces to launch anti-ISIS operation in Syria: Brigade spox.
[Rudaw] US-backed forces in Syria are preparing to launch a large-scale military operation against Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) cells, a spokesperson for a faction aligned with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) told Rudaw on Sunday. The campaign comes amid a growing threat from ISIS across the country, especially in northeast Syria (Rojava).

Mahmoud Habib, spokesperson for the North Democratic Forces - a component of the SDF - said the campaign is in response to a recent uptick in ISIS activities. "The details of the operation are not yet known. We do not know when it will be launched, what its nature will be, or which forces will take part alongside the SDF and coalition troops," Habib stated.

The US-backed SDF functions as the de facto military force in Rojava and is the primary local partner of the Washington-led Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS. The North Democratic Forces operate mainly in northern Syria and share the SDF’s objective of combating terrorism.

According to Habib, the upcoming operation may see the participation of other US-backed groups, namely, the Syrian Free Army (SFA). He noted that the campaign aims not only to dismantle ISIS cells but also to prevent potential attacks on major population centers, including the capital Damascus, its surrounding countryside, and the central Homs province.

The Syrian Free Army (SFA), originally a broad rebel coalition, has evolved over the past decade from earlier US-backed groups such as the New Syrian Army (NSA) and the Revolutionary Commando Army (RCA). These factions were trained and supported by the US and have operated primarily from the al-Tanf garrison - a strategically located US military base near the Syrian, Iraqi, and Jordanian borders - carrying out counter-ISIS operations.

Following the fall of Syrian dictator Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad
Supressor of the Damascenes...
in early December, the SFA is reportedly being integrated into the newly established 70th Division of the unified Syrian army, currently being formed by the incumbent transitional government.

Importantly, Habib noted that the upcoming operation follows recent intelligence reports indicating that ISIS cells are planning attacks near urban areas. "The goal of the operation is to stop these kinds of attacks," he said.

ISIS was territorially defeated in Syria in 2019. However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
in recent months, the group has seemingly been trying to make a comeback, capitalizing on the shifting security landscape following Assad’s ouster.

Last week, a deadly bombing struck the Mar Elias Church in Damascus during Sunday mass. Two assailants opened fire on worshippers before detonating an explosive vest, killing 25 people and injuring 63 others, according to the Syrian health ministry’s final toll.

On Tuesday, the Syrian interior ministry attributed the attack to an ISIS cell. Ministry spokesperson Noureddine al-Baba claimed the two jacket wallahs were "non-Syrian" and had infiltrated the capital from al-Hol camp, located in SDF-controlled northeast Syria (Rojava). al-Hol camp houses thousands of individuals, many of whom are family members of suspected ISIS murderous Moslems.

However,
a woman is only as old as she admits...
the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) swiftly rejected the ministry’s claims, emphasizing that al-Hol primarily shelters women and kiddies rather than imported muscle. The SDF also noted that any individuals released from the camp in recent months, were freed at the request of Damascus authorities.

Notably, the upcoming military campaign also comes amid a surge of ISIS attacks across SDF-controlled areas, with both civilians and security forces increasingly being targeted.

In mid-May, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that it had documented 84 ISIS operations in Rojava since the beginning of 2025. These included armed assaults, targeted liquidations, and bombings.

Syria's current position regarding Israel
[X]

PM Netanyahu will only meet at the UN so long as Zohran Mamdani is not the mayor of New York City, because Mr. Mamdani has promised to arrest him, unless the State Department intervenes. The Golan Heights will not ever be on the table. Withdrawal from southern Syria might be, for a suitable consideration; so start with a very good offer, because you need Israel considerably more than Israel needs you. .
Golan’s status not discussed in talks with Israel, main concern is pullout from buffer zone, Syrian official says

[IsraelTimes] Syria has not brought up the issue of the Golan Heights in negotiations with Israel, with its main concern being the withdrawal of IDF troops from the buffer zone created in the south of the country, after the fall of president Bashar al-Assad’s regime, a Syrian official tells the Kan public broadcaster.
Perceptive — the HTS leader has a much higher EQ than any of the other Al Qaeda-related jihadi groups that I am aware of, including realizing that pure viciousness isn’t going to carry the day in the wider world. Israel no longer tries to buy peace with land — look what giving up the Sinai got them on 10/7. Also, the last time Syria held the Golan Heights, mortars regularly rained down on the Israeli towns below.
The official says that “the contact between Israel and Syria could be very meaningful,” and that the current government in Damascus is opposed to Iran and its proxy terror groups, Hezbollah and Hamas.”

“The issue of the Golan hasn’t even come up yet in the discussions. It is still early. But the Americans are a key factor here,” the official says.
President Trump recognized Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights his last term in office, so that’s already done, in case the Hayat Tahrir al Sham government was hoping America would force Israel to surrender.
The Assad regime had demanded that Israel withdraw from the Golan Heights, which it conquered in 1967 and then annexed in 1981, in exchange for a potential peace with the Jewish state.
It’s hard to miss that all Assad’s demanding did not result in Israel trading the Golan Heights for peace, or anything else for peace either. In fact all President Assad got was Israeli jets bombing his weapons stashes and Hezbollah and IRGC warehouses and drop-offs, which continued until HTS drove him out. Is this a game HTS wants to play?
The buffer zone, however, refers to a UN-patrolled buffer zone that was intended to keep Israeli and Syrian forces apart, which Israel took control of after forces loyal to Assad’s government abandoned their positions before rebel groups reached Damascus in December.

The United Nations considers Israel’s takeover of the buffer zone a violation of the 1974 disengagement accord. Israel says the accord had fallen apart since one of the sides was no longer in a position to implement it.
That’s how international law works. HTS has to start their negotiations from scratch. To their credit, they at least are ready to negotiate, and their demands are no more than testing the water to see what they’re facing.

‘Breakthrough’ reportedly brought Iran closer to the bomb than Israel previously thought
[IsraelTimes] One of the main reasons that prompted Israel to attack Iran this month was a deeply worrying “breakthrough” by Iran in its nuclear weapons program that would have enabled it to build a nuclear bomb in a much shorter time than Israel had previously believed, Channel 12 reports.

A group of scientists were working secretively on the development of nuclear weapons in a manner that “deeply troubled” Israeli experts and decision-makers, the report says, noting that it is broadcasting the news within the limitations of Israeli military censorship.

There was a need to thwart this initiative and target the scientists involved, the report says. The scientists “were indeed eliminated.”

The Iranian breakthrough, combined with the fact that Iran had stockpiled 408 kilograms (900 pounds) of uranium enriched to 60 percent, the report says, meant Israel assessed that Iran could break out to the bomb far more quickly than previously estimated.

Iranian officials assess damage from US strikes
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] American intelligence services intercepted a telephone conversation between Iranian officials, in which it was noted that the US strikes on nuclear facilities in Iran were not as powerful and destructive as expected. This was reported on June 29 by The Washington Post (WP).
So it might be true that this was overheard…
Senior Iranian officials are said to have said in a conversation that the attack on nuclear facilities ordered by US President Donald Trump was less destructive than they had expected, although the report cites one US official
…anonymous, so no one else can confirm…
as saying that a single conversation between anonymous Iranians does not equal an intelligence assessment that takes into account the full range of information from different sources.
Also true.
White House press secretary Karoline Levitt called the publication a "leak taken out of context" of information.

"It is complete nonsense to suggest that unnamed Iranian officials know what happened hundreds of feet under the rubble. Their nuclear program is finished," she said.

Earlier, Regnum news agency reported that, as stated by military expert, political scientist, Captain 1st Rank Vasily Fatigarov, if the Americans had hit the main storage facility for enriched uranium on Iranian territory, this would have led to a technological catastrophe on a regional scale.

Fatigarov noted that under the previously existing JCPOA agreement, Iran had the right to enrich 300 kg of uranium to 3.7%, and it was the Americans who withdrew from this agreement during the previous term of US President Trump, after which Tehran lifted all restrictions.

The main storage facility, which contained 166.6 kg of uranium enriched to 60%, was located at the Fordow facility. If the bombing of this facility had affected the main uranium storage facility, a technological catastrophe of regional proportions would have occurred, worse than that of Chernobyl.

Trump: Iran May Have Another Facility Allegedly Linked to Nuclear Program

US President Donald Trump claims that Iran may have another — secret — facility related to the nuclear program allegedly being implemented by the republic.

"We knew Iran had a lot of [nuclear facilities], probably three [major] ones plus one," the White House chief said in an interview with Fox News.

At the same time, Trump expressed confidence that Tehran did not have time to evacuate enriched uranium from its facilities before American bombers struck them.

"First of all, it's very difficult to do. It's very dangerous. <…> Also, no one thought we would hit [the Fordow facility], because everyone said it was impenetrable. <…> I think there were people at the facility, they say there were cars there. These people were trying to concrete the entrance, where the bomb would most likely hit," the American leader said.

Given Iran, officials report what they were told to, not what actually happened.

If the FACTS get out to the Iranian Citizenry and yes maybe even a few Military commanders might decide enough is enough and take out the Tehran dictators.

BTW: Uranium, enriched to 60%, is suitable to produce a few low yield nukes.

Terror Networks
'Side Targets': Pro-Palestinian Forces in Europe Smash Equipment for Ukraine
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Leonid Tsukanov

[REGNUM] Pro-Palestinian activists in "greater Europe" have suddenly stopped limiting themselves to ordinary demonstrations and have moved on to subversive actions.

In the past week, there have been two major attacks on military installations and enterprises - in the UK and Belgium. Moreover, the activists in these attacks have shown themselves to be not just an inspired crowd, but a coordinated and well-thought-out team of saboteurs, clearly selecting targets and effectively disabling them.

This gave rise to the conviction among Europeans that a much more serious force was hiding behind the masks of fighters for the rights of the Palestinian people. Especially since a more thorough inspection revealed a “common denominator” in the attacked objects.

DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT
On June 20, two unknown individuals broke into the British military base Bryce Norton. Using crowbars and a fire extinguisher converted into a spray can, they damaged the engines of two Airbus Voyager tanker aircraft, after which they painted a Palestinian flag on the ground and fled. Without causing any alarm at the facility.

The Palestinian Action movement, created in 2020 by a group of young anarchists,
…just another Black Bloc/Antifa tentacle, this one wearing a Palestinian/anti-Israel false nose and mustache...
claimed responsibility for the high-profile action. And this is far from their first major attack.

In 2021, a group with banners and smoke bombs “seized” the roof of the UAV Tactical System company in Leicester for almost a week, effectively paralyzing its work.

And in 2022, they carried out a pogrom at a Glasgow equipment manufacturing plant, causing $1.5 million in damage to local gunsmiths.

The Bryce Norton protest was the last straw for London. The British government decided to seek a ban on Palestine Action.

As the head of the British Ministry of Internal Affairs Yvette Cooper noted , the movement will soon be declared illegal in accordance with the letter of the Terrorism Act of 2000 - because it uses subversive and "socially dangerous" tactics of action. This will allow the same measures to be applied to activists as to cells of international terrorist organizations.

However, the initiative still needs to be approved at all levels. In the meantime, supporters of the movement are taking advantage of the sluggishness of the British justice system and threatening larger-scale solidarity actions – not only in London, but also in mainland Europe.

BELGIAN POGROM
However, while the activities of Palestine Action in Great Britain are well known and no longer surprise local officials, the sudden activation of similar structures in other countries has had the effect of a bomb exploding.

Less than a week after the Bryce Norton raid, more than a hundred activists armed with hammers and grinders attacked the OIP office and warehouses in the Belgian city of Tournai.

They destroyed office equipment and damaged some of the cargo in the warehouses, including several armored vehicles, and disrupted the company's information infrastructure. The total damage was estimated at approximately one million euros.

Although the activists' outrages were captured on CCTV, it will not be easy to identify the instigators. The attackers were dressed in hermetic white suits that hid their faces and figures, and wore thick gloves.

However, this did not stop the OIP leadership from suggesting that most of the attackers were women, due to the fact that they used the tools “extremely ineptly and uncertainly.”

However, the Belgian police have not yet been able to identify the culprits.

"RUSSIAN TRACE"
Increased attacks by pro-Palestinian activists on defense industry facilities in European countries have given rise to a wave of conspiracy theories.

Pro-Palestinian activists, previously famous for their spontaneous actions,
…not actually spontaneous. The October 8, 2023 protests, for instance, were ordered directly by Hamas in Gaza...
suddenly demonstrated unprecedented coordination and were able to bypass serious security systems. Moreover, the surge in their activity occurred in several countries at once, and in some of them, they do not even have a common border.
Telephone, internet, and snail mail all pass through borders as if they did not exist.
But as soon as the “Ukrainian” variable was added to the story, a “Russian trace” was immediately identified in it.

Among other things, it was revealed that part of the British military aid to Kyiv was being delivered via Bryce Norton, and the damaged tanker planes were used as "safety nets" during reconnaissance and monitoring operations, including along the Russian border. The action by pro-Palestinian activists temporarily put them out of action.

The OIP warehouses in Tournai were storing equipment that was intended for immediate shipment to Ukraine, directly to the combat zone. And as a result of the pogrom, the deliveries already announced by the Belgians had to be postponed for at least a month.

This circumstantial evidence was enough for some Western bloggers and sensation-hungry members of the press to quickly label pro-Palestinian activists as “Russian career intelligence agents.”

SIMPLE EXPLANATION
Activists explain the situation much more prosaically. Their attacks on defense concerns and military bases were intended to send an open message and to underline the readiness of pro-Palestinian forces to go beyond the usual demonstrations. Which, moreover, are increasingly ignored by national elites.

In addition, both French Airbus (whose planes were damaged in the raid on the British base) and Belgian OIP have in the past been heavily involved in Israeli defense projects, conducting joint developments, some of which were later used in the war against Hamas.

Moreover, OIP is a subsidiary of Elbit Systems, the largest defense concern in Israel. Thus, it was the Israelis, not the Belgians, who ultimately suffered the damage.

As one of the representatives of the "Palestinian Action" noted on social networks, Western weapons and ammunition supplied to Ukraine also partly end up on the balance sheet of the Israeli army through the black market. However, they are not used directly by it, but are transferred to loyalists in Gaza for additional destabilization of the situation in the sector.
I’m confused.
In particular, the unit of Yasser Abu Shabab , the leader of the "Gaza Management Committee", was armed and staffed using a similar scheme. Pro-Israeli fighters received European-made machine guns and grenades through the black market, as well as Canadian and American anti-personnel mines intended for Kiev.

The pro-Palestinian activists took the very statements that they were “working for the Kremlin” with poisonous irony, declaring that they had only one real enemy, and that was Israel. And all the others (including Ukraine, which suffered indirectly during the recent raids) were just “side targets.”

However, users in the comments were quick to point out that official Kyiv supports the political course chosen by Tel Aviv (including actions towards Iran and its Middle Eastern allies), which partly makes the recent actions even more profound and symbolic.
