[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] At least three members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) were killed and four others maimed on Tuesday, including field commanders, in bloody festivities in the city of Zinjibar of Abyan ...a governorate of Yemen. The region was a base to the Aden-Abyan Islamic Army terrorist group until it dropped the name and joined al-Qaeda. Its capital is Zinjibar. In March 2011, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula declared the governate an Islamic Emirate after seizing control of the region. The New York Times fastidiously reported that those in control, while Islamic hard boyz, are not in fact al-Qaeda, but something else that looks, tastes, smells, and acts the same. Yemeni government forces launched an effort to re-establish control of the region when President-for-Life Saleh was tossed and the carnage continues... province, southern Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of... A local source in the city said that the festivities erupted between members of the Security Belt factions, led by Mustafa Lashqam, and the Gulf City Protection Force, led by Abdul Rahman al-Faqih.
The source attributed the festivities to previous disputes following the arrest of al-Faqih's brother by Security Belt forces last November at the Arish checkpoint on charges of possessing alcohol and women.
The festivities broke out after an attempt to oust al-Faqih from command of the Gulf City residential area in Khanfar district, which led to a kaboom of tensions between the UAE-funded faction leaders, who have witnessed unprecedented internal conflicts and disputes due to their rivalry over lands in the area.
[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Armed Lions of Islam loyal to the Saudi-led coalition have declared rebellion after Saudi Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula, largely made up of sand and oil rigs. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual haj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Formerly dictatorial and steeped in Olde Tyme Religion, deferring to Salafist holy men on all issues, it has now done a 180 and is making a serious effort to modernize, so as not to be left in the sand by its Gulf Arab neighbors. The holy men have been shoved to the background and the nation is now still dictatorial but somewhat rational. That doesn't make them trustworthy, but it's a start... dismissed Salafi leader Abdulrahman al-Loum from his post as commander of the ''Al-Buqa'' front near the Najran a city in southwestern Saudi Arabia near the border with Yemen. It is the capital of the province of the same name, a favored target of Houthi rocket forces because they can see it, so there's no math involved.... border.
The Saudi decision has sparked anger among al-Loum's loyal recruits, especially following the appointment of Salafi leader Raddad al-Hashimi as the new commander of the so-called ''Al-Buqa and Kitaf Axis.''
In response, the recruits have strongly rejected the decision, taking up arms to voice their opposition. They gathered from various military sites, traveling in military vehicles to the command headquarters to protest, as tensions rise between al-Loum's supporters and those loyal to al-Hashimi. This could potentially lead to an armed clash between the two factions.
Al-Hashimi called on the so-called ''military police'' to quell the rebellion and restore order, as the recruits demand al-Loum's reinstatement.
It's important to note that Saudi Arabia has recruited thousands of Salafi fighters and southern mercenaries in recent years, using them as a buffer to protect its borders from retaliatory strikes by forces loyal to Sana'a.
[GEO.TV] The Colombian navy on Wednesday announced its first seizure of an unmanned narco-submarine equipped with a Starlink antenna off its Caribbean coast.
I’d be shocked if a record of all movements of the thing, and quite possibly audio record as well were not carefully stored on a Starlink computer somewhere under Mr. Musk’s control…
The vessel was not carrying drugs, but the Colombian navy and Western security sources based in the region told AFP they believed it was a trial run of an unmanned vessel by a cocaine trafficking cartel.
"It was being tested and was empty," a naval spokesperson confirmed to AFP.
Asked if it was operated by Starlink, the spokesperson confirmed that the vessel "had that technology" but said the navy "was still studying how exactly it operated."
The discovery announced by Navy commander Admiral Juan Ricardo Rozo at a presser is one of the first reported finds in South American waters of a drone narco submarine.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Several people were injured after a man wielding an axe attacked passengers on a busy train in Germany today.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was said to have lashed out at travellers on board the ICE 91 train to Vienna this afternoon at around 1:55pm local time.
The man, believed to be Syrian according to German newspaper Bild's sources, was alleged to have boarded with an axe and a hammer, before one brazen passenger disarmed him of one of the weapons and fought back.
Not brazen but courageous.
Passengers reportedly surrounded the suspect and pulled the emergency brake to stop the train near the village of Straßkirchen before police were able to arrest him.
According to the Bavarian Red Cross, one person suffered serious injuries, three others were 'moderately injured' and one was 'slightly injured.' The suspect was said to have been seriously injured and flown to hospital by helicopter. Should've been drug behind an SUV
The train is understood to have been carrying some 500 passengers at the time.
Police said in a statement that a man 'injured several people with dangerous objects shortly before Straßkirchen' this afternoon.
The police statement did not make clear whether the suspect was one of the four injured in the attack.
Rail operator Deutsche Bahn said it was 'appalled' by the 'violent attack' on the train, which had been travelling from Hamburg.
A Syrian migrant was arrested by police in Bavaria after several people were maimed in an axe attack on a high speed train travelling to Austria.
At least five people, including the alleged attacker, were maimed on a German international ICE high-speed train as it travelled through Bavaria on its journey to the Austrian capital city, Vienna.
German news magazine Bild states the attacker, who was armed with an axe and a hammer, was subdued by other passengers on the train before police arrived. Those who stepped in to prevent the attack continuing are reported to have wrestled a weapon away from the perpetrator and then used it against him.
A Syrian migrant suspect, identified as 20-year-old ’Mohammed A.’ has been airlifted to hospital by helicopter and is said to be the most seriously injured person treated. Beyond the suspect, four other people were maimed, three "moderately" and one with light injuries.
Some of those injured are also said to be Syrian citizens. The injured are reported by local newspaper Passauer Neue Presse to be aged between 15 and 51-years-old.

This really look like they’ve been watching all of them for a while, tracing the connections back to the handlers in Iran until the Shin Bet was finally ready to roll them all up, one after the other.
[IsraelTimes] Agent offered suspects shooting training, promised them and their families safe haven in Islamic Republic once deed was done; West Bank man also indicted on espionage charges
State prosecutors filed an indictment Thursday against two young men from Tiberias accused of carrying out missions on Iran’s behalf, including a plot to assassinate a "senior figure" in Israel.
Another suspected spy was indicted on similar charges the same afternoon, the latest in a string of espionage incidents as Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... ramps up its effort to recruit Israelis as spies in exchange for money.
According to the indictment against the pair from Tiberias, 18-year-old Yoni Segal and 20-year-old Omri Mizrahi maintained contact with several Iranian agents for around a month, from mid-May up until their arrest on June 15.
The first agent reached out to the pair by introducing himself as a "Kaplanist leftist," starting them out with small tasks — writing "Bibi is a dictator" on slips of paper and banknotes, then filming videos of themselves burning the messages.
The agents later employed them to gather intelligence on shopping malls and hospitals, paying them NIS 1,000 ($298) each to film videos documenting several locations over the course of a day.
The two provided information on the number of entrances to each building and on the number of security guards stationed at each site, prosecutors said.
They were arrested while allegedly preparing to travel to Iran to undergo shooting training with the goal of assassinating a senior Israeli figure, whose identity was not disclosed to the defendants.
Channel 12 previously reported that the agents sought to kill a high-ranking Israeli scientist.
The handlers promised each defendant NIS 200,000 ($60,000) in cryptocurrency, as well as to relocate them and their families to Iran if they followed through with the liquidation.
The two men planned to meet the agents in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... or Greece, where they would be brought to Iran for training.
Segal suggested to one of the agents, who went by the alias "Dior," that he leave Israel by boat to Cyprus or Greece. He received NIS 7,000 ($2,083) from the agent as an advance payment for the trip.
According to prosecutors, the defendants were fully aware that they were in contact with Iranian agents from early on in their correspondence with them.
This was disputed by Segal’s former lawyer Fadi Hamdan, who claimed the young man "did not understand that this was an Iranian agent," in a Channel 12 interview.
Hamdan told The Times of Israel Thursday that he no longer represents Segal.
Both defendants were charged in the Nazareth District Court with maintaining contact with a foreign agent and providing intelligence to the enemy.
Segal was also charged with obstruction of justice for deleting messages he exchanged with one of the agents in an attempt to conceal evidence.
Later on Thursday, state prosecutors indicted another suspected spy for Iran, 33-year-old Mark Morgain from the West Bank settlement of Hamra.
According to the prosecution, an Iranian agent contacted Morgain in June, offering him a daily allowance of NIS 2,000 ($598) to do his bidding.
Even when the defendant began to suspect his contact was an Iranian agent, he remained willfully ignorant, telling him that "it is irrelevant and I don’t want to know" whether he was working on behalf of the enemy country.
During his work for the handler, Morgain agreed to transport a grenade from one hidden location to another. He went to the location specified by his handler, but didn’t find the explosive. Regardless, he was paid several hundred dollars for his failed attempt ...Curses! Foiled again!... , prosecutors said.
The defendant was also enlisted to film a video of a missile interception during open war between Israel and Iran and send it to his handler, according to police.
Morgain was charged in the Beersheba District Court with maintaining contact with a foreign agent and providing intelligence to the enemy. He was also indicted on the charge of possessing dangerous drugs not intended for personal use, after police found 800 grams of illegal stimulants in his home.
In yet another development Thursday, the Israel Police announced the arrest of another citizen on suspicion of spying for Iran.
The Beersheba resident, 25, was arrested at Ben Gurion Airport. He is suspected of contact with an Iranian agent.
A police statement said the Shin Bet had provided intelligence that helped lead to his arrest, and that a court had extended his remand in jug.
Over the past two years, Iranian intelligence operatives have ramped up their efforts to recruit ordinary Israelis as spies in exchange for money.

[GEO.TV] At least 118 Palestinians have been killed and 581 others injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, Al Jazeera reported, quoting the enclave's health ministry.
That includes 12 people killed and 49 injured at the US- and Israeli-backed aid centres, it added, raising the total number of aid seekers killed to 652. More than 4,537 others have been injured since the new mechanism came into force on May 27, the ministry said.
Israel's war on Gaza has killed 57,130 Palestinians and injured 135,173 others since October 7, 2023, the statement published on Telegram said.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... movement, announced Wednesday morning that it had targeted the city of Sderot in the southern occupied territories with a barrage of rockets in response to the Israeli occupation's ongoing crimes in Gazoo

The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... The brigades confirmed that the bombing, using ''precision missiles,'' was part of the ''Al-Aqsa Flood'' operation, which began on October 7, 2023.
Of course they did. Then the IDF declared the area where the rocket launchers were as off limits, and warned the residents to leave for the safe enclaves, lest they get caught in the IDF’s latest clearance operation. In the meantime, the IDF shot down the rockets or watched them fall harmlessly in Israeli fields, in the Mediterranean, or somewhere in Gaza, upon which Hamas blamed the resulting deaths on the eeeeeeevil IDF.
This attack is part of a series of rocket attacks by the Paleostinian resistance against occupation sites in response to the escalating aggression and the targeting of civilians and infrastructure in Gaza, particularly following the massacres in the Zeitoun and Shuja'iyya neighborhoods.
No doubt Hamas feels better for having shot their wad, as the cannoneers used to say, however ineffectually.
The situation in Gaza is witnessing a major escalation with the continued resistance attacks on the advancing Israeli occupation forces through ground ambushes and intensive shelling.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] At least 19 Paleostinians were killed and dozens injured on Thursday as Israeli forces carried out a series of intense Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s and live-fire attacks across multiple areas of the Gazoo

How many were Hamasniks or other jihadis? How many were human shields?
In Rafah, southern Gaza, seven people were killed, with 30 reported maimed following heavy Israeli airstrikes on the al-Shakoush area, northwest of the city.
In Khan Younis, Israeli warplanes targeted the Batn al-Samin area in the southern part of the city with multiple airstrikes, though casualty figures from the strike are still being verified.
In central Gaza, six Paleostinians were rubbed out by Israeli soldiers near an aid distribution center north of the province, as residents gathered to collect much-needed humanitarian supplies.
The victims also included Muhannad al-Layyeh, a player for the Khidmat al-Maghazi football club, who succumbed to wounds sustained in a previous Israeli airstrike on his home in the Maghazi refugee camp. Red Card!
In Gaza City, three non-combatants were killed and others injured when Israeli jets bombed a residential apartment in the Qasr al-Minah building in the western part of the city. Additional strikes on the Zaytoun and Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza claimed the lives of three more Paleostinians and maimed several others, including children. Some of the injured were rushed to the Baptist (Al-Ma'madani) Hospital following a strike near Salah al-Din Mosque in Zaytoun.
In northern Gaza, Israeli aircraft bombed a crowd of civilians near the Halawa roundabout in Jabalia town, killing two people and injuring several others.
Emergency and civil defense teams continue efforts to recover victims from the rubble, operating under extreme danger due to the ongoing bombardment and frequent targeting of rescue workers by Israeli.
