Probe launched after Jewish group removed from New Jersey school yearbook
Hit ‘em back harder.
[IsraelTimes] Jewish students’ names were omitted from page while photo of them was replaced with picture of a group of Muslim students; East Brunswick mayor denounces ‘blatant antisemitic act’

A New Jersey school district has hired an outside law firm to investigate how and why a Jewish student group was erased from the high school yearbook, with the members’ names omitted from the page and their photo replaced with a picture of a group of Moslem students.
Was it done by Moslems or by Hamas supporters/Jew-haters? An individual sneaking around the rules, a group ditto, or with the connivance of the yearbook staff advisor?
East Brunswick Public Schools said the independent review by Brisman Law began Friday and will seek to determine who was responsible, as well as whether it was malicious or a mistake.

"I’m confident the independent counsel investigation will reveal the truth," Superintendent Victor Valeski said. "They’ve been given complete authority to investigate whatever they need to investigate."

The superintendent apologized previously for "the hurt, pain and anguish this event has caused our Jewish students" and offered a separate apology to Moslem students.

In a statement, East Brunswick Mayor Brad Cohen called it a "blatant antisemitic act" and said the probe should consider whether it was a hate crime worthy of prosecution. "Hate has no place in East Brunswick and antisemitism will not be tolerated," he said.

The New Jersey office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations
... the Moslem Brüderbund's American arm ...
called for a "transparent and fair investigation." The yearbook incident "has triggered heinous backlash against some Moslem students who had no knowledge of their photo being misused," spokesperson Aya Elamroussi said in a statement.

The situation came to light Tuesday after about 375 yearbooks were distributed at East Brunswick High.

Valeski said a new photo of the Jewish Student Union was taken this week and will be included, along with the members’ names, in corrected versions of the yearbook that will be distributed next week.

Discipline could be warranted depending on the outcome of the probe, and a corrective plan will be developed for the yearbook, Valeski said.

"There’s absolutely no way it should have happened," he said. "I believe that this was really a lack of quality control, a lack of oversight."

#1  Used to be the yearbook was an extracurricular project for students ,with an advisor. Somebody in the right place as it's completed and sent to the printer could do this. Would take planning to do this after the advisor signs off and before it is sent.

#3  Even when someone else is the victim, the Moslems just have to jump in to cry about "backlash" aimed at them.

If they don't want to have backlash, don't be behind the actions that cause it in the first place.

#5  Talked to a couple of folks who'd done high school yearbook editor work. That's the student. From what they say, once the editor and advisor sign off, so to speak, the next step is to the printer quickly.
There is no legitimate access, nor very much room at all for non-legit access, to the product from there to the printer.
The guess is it happened upstream, so to speak, and got past the editor and advisor who either weren't paying attention or were complicit.

Might be something else but that's the way to bet.

Africa North
Afrique Media: The US has officially begun to withdraw its troops from Niger
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The United States has officially begun the withdrawal of its troops from Niger, the chief of staff of the republic’s ground forces, Colonel Mamane Sani Kiau, said on June 8, as quoted by the Afrique Media television channel.

According to him, 269 American troops and 946 tons of military equipment have already left Niger.

Earlier, the National Council for the Defense of the Fatherland (CNSP) informed that American troops would leave the republic no later than mid-September. The Niger authorities gave the Americans permission to fly and land military aircraft.

As Regnum reported, plans to withdraw troops from Niger became known in May. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced this in the Senate, without giving a time frame. Two days later, Politico reported that the Pentagon had ordered all troops to leave the African country in the coming months.

The Niger authorities in mid-March deprived the American military of the opportunity to be on its territory, breaking the military agreement with the United States. According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, Mohamed Tumba, Niger is interested in the country’s troops being trained by the Russian, and not the American, military.

A month and a half later, on May 3, Reuters reported that the Russian military entered the air base in Niamey, which is why the American contingent based in the republic declared increased combat readiness.

Britain
A World-Historical Transformation Is Taking Place in Britain, Yet Few Have Noticed
[PJ] A world-historical societal transformation is taking place before our very eyes, and yet few have taken notice. Britain, the erstwhile leader of the Western world and the foundation and source of English-speaking civilization, is in its last days as a free society, and will soon become an Islamic state. Yet despite the mountains of evidence that this transformation is taking place, many will still deny that it is happening at all. They may not even admit it when it overtakes them personally.

The English actor-turned-political-activist Lawrence Fox recently noted what was happening: "The Mayor of London is a Muslim. The mayor of Birmingham is a Muslim. The Mayor of Leeds is Muslim. Mayor of Blackburn - Muslim. The mayor of Sheffield is a Muslim. The mayor of Oxford is a Muslim. The mayor of Luton is a Muslim. The mayor of Oldham is Muslim. The mayor of Rochdale is Muslim. All this was achieved by only 4 million Muslims out of 66 million people in England."

This kind of thing has happened before, but few remember. Back in the days when our schools and universities concentrated on teaching actual facts rather than leftist propaganda, race hatred, and gender fantasy, every schoolchild learned about the Norman conquest of England in 1066. Nowadays one would be hard-pressed to find someone under twenty who knows what a "Norman" was (they were people from Normandy, in northern France, where a large number of Norsemen from Scandinavia had settled), but a few decades ago any random student would have been able to tell you that this conquest was not just a military victory. It heralded the thorough transformation of English society.

Court orders UC academic workers to temporarily halt strike over war in Gaza
[IsraelTimes] 48,000-strong union argues members were mistreated in crackdown on anti-Israel encampments

Thousands of academic workers at the University of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, were ordered by a state judge on Friday to temporarily cease their weekslong strike over the war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
. Orange County Superior Court Judge Randall J. Sherman issued the emergency restraining order after UC lawyers argued that the ongoing strike would cause irreversible harm as students are nearing finals.

The university system sued United Auto Workers Local 4811 on Tuesday even though both sides have competing unfair practice labor claims pending before the California Public Employment Relations Board, which declined twice to issue an emergency injunction.

The union, which represents 48,000 graduate students who work as teaching assistants, tutors, researchers and other academic employees on the 10-campus UC system, started its strike on May 20 in Santa Cruz. The strike has since expanded to UC campuses in Davis, Los Angeles, Irvine, Santa Barbara and San Diego.

Melissa Matella, associate vice president for labor relations, expressed gratitude for the order, saying in a statement that the ongoing strike would have set back students’ learning and possibly stalled critical research projects. Officials say the strike is not related to employment terms and violates the union’s contract.

But the union says it is protesting the treatment of its members, some of whom were arrested and forcibly ejected by police in demonstrations calling for an end to the war in Gaza.

Rebecca Gross, a UC Santa Cruz graduate student and union leader, said Friday that the union was surveying rank-and-file workers on how to proceed.

"The struggle is not over," she said. "It really hasn’t been confirmed yet ... that what we’re doing here is illegal in any way."

On May 1, police in riot gear ordered the dispersal of more than a thousand people gathered on campus to show support for the Paleostinian people, and warned that those who refused to leave would face arrest. The night before, police had waited to intervene as pro-Israel counter-protesters attacked the pro-Paleostinian encampment, causing injuries.

Woman reveals how her own MOTHER forced her to wed an abusive Al Qaeda terrorist who beat and raped her for YEARS - as she lays bare final breaking point that made her flee for good
A selection of details giving more of the story of a brave lady who has previously graced these pages, now with a glimpse of her secular happily ever after.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A woman whose mother married a fundamentalist Muslim when she was just six years old has candidly revealed how her childhood was destroyed by the heinous sexual abuse she endured at his hands - all while her mom turned a blind eye. When she was 13, Yasmine Mohammed told Canadian authorities that she was being abused by her fundamentalist Muslim stepfather - only to be told that how he chose to punish her was his decision to make.

'That's your culture, that's how your family chooses to discipline you,' Yasmine said the judge told her some time after a teacher had discovered visible welts across her arms, instigating an investigation.

'So had I been in court, sitting there, blond-haired, blue-eyed girl with family from like you know Denmark or Sweden or something, then he would have protected me. But because my family came from Egypt, it's like, "Well, that's your culture. That's just how they are,"' Yasmine explained on the podcast Cults To Consciousness.

Ritchie Torres slams ‘blithering idiots' behind secret Israeli influence campaign
Why government organs (any government) should stay away from social media. Weaponized Democratic party hysteria aside, has it ever been successful?
[IsraelTimes] Lawmaker says ‘brain might be rotting’ of anyone who thinks he needs convincing to support Israel, after NYT report on effort to encourage Black Democrats to back military funding.

New York Representative Ritchie Torres, one of Israel’s staunchest supporters in Congress, said a reported clandestine campaign by the Israeli government that aimed to influence him and other Black Democratic US lawmakers was “embarrassing” and “racist.”
Not racist, but targetted to the groups that in general have the farthest to go on the subject.
The effort, according to a report this week in The New York Times, was orchestrated by Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Ministry and targeted members of Congress and the US public with a pro-Israel social media campaign using hundreds of fake social media profiles.

The $2 million project in conjunction with Stoic, a Tel Aviv-based marketing firm, began in October and continued at least until this week, according to the Times. Involving multiple fake news sites and the artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT, the operation urged lawmakers to fund Israel’s military effort. (It also included some missteps, such as accounts supposedly of Black men posting as a “middle-aged Jewish woman.”)

The campaign focused on several members of the Congressional Black Caucus, including Torres, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York, and Senator Raphael Warnock of Georgia, the report said.

The campaign’s focus on Torres was notable because his social media presence is a quintessential example of unabashed and outspoken pro-Israel activism, and he is something of a star in Israel. Torres nodded to that in a statement on X on Friday.

“If you think I need to be ‘influenced’ to be pro-Israel, then please see a doctor because your brain might be rotting,” he wrote. He followed up with what was for him a rare criticism of an Israeli action.

“The blithering idiots behind this embarrassing operation should be fired for gross incompetence,” Torres wrote. “A foreign influence operation that singles out Black Congressional Democrats is racist. There’s no correlation at all between race and Israel in the United States Congress.”
True. Black Republicans are fine on Israel. The correlation is to Progressiveness.

US intelligence helped the IDF free four hostages but floating pier not involved, IDF sez no other hostages harmed
See here for main after action report.
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] Before the IDF special operation in the Nuseirat area, the United States provided Israel with intelligence information about hostages being held in the Gaza Strip, The New York Times reported on June 8.

“A U.S. hostage rescue team stationed in Israel assisted the Israeli military in its efforts to rescue the four hostages by providing intelligence and other logistical support,” the article wrote.

The authors noted that groups of specialists from the United States and Great Britain are located on Israeli territory during the military conflict and help the intelligence of the Jewish state in collecting and analyzing information about the hostages, as well as about high-ranking representatives of the Palestinian Hamas movement.

According to one Israeli official, the US and Britain can help with intelligence from the air and cyberspace, since Israel cannot do this on its own.

As Regnum reported, on June 8, the official representative of the militant wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement, the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaydah, informed about the death of several hostages held in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli operation in the refugee camp in Nuseirat. After that, the release of those held "will create a danger for the remaining" hostages and will have a negative impact on their conditions and lives, he added.

On the same day, the Israeli army announced the release of four hostages who had been held by Hamas since October 7, 2023. The operation was carried out in the central part of the Gaza Strip. All those released were taken to a medical facility in the suburbs of Tel Aviv. Among them is 27-year-old citizen of Russia and Israel Andrei Kozlov.

The US House of Representatives on April 20 passed a bill to allocate $95 billion in military aid to Israel, Taiwan and Ukraine. According to the document, the Jewish state will receive $26 billion from the United States, including about 9.1 billion for humanitarian needs. The US decision to provide new military aid to Israel is aggression against the Palestinians, said Nabil Abu Rudeina, spokeswoman for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

US military: Gaza aid pier was not used in IDF hostage rescue operation
”Ewwww! We wouldn’t pollute our beautiful Hamas pier with Jooooo cooties!”
[IsraelTimes] The United States Central Command says that its humanitarian aid pier in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. was not used in the Israeli operation that successfully rescued four hostages yesterday morning.

"The humanitarian pier facility, including its equipment, personnel, and assets were not used in the operation to rescue hostages today in Gaza. An area south of the facility was used by the Israelis to safely return the hostages to Israel," CENTCOM says in a statement on X.

"Any such claim to the contrary is false. The temporary pier on the coast of Gaza was put in place for one purpose only, to help move additional, urgently needed lifesaving assistance into Gaza."

The statement comes as the US resumed aid deliveries via the temporary pier yesterday, after the structure suffered storm damage and underwent repairs in a nearby port.

"Today at approximately 10:30 am (Gaza time) US Central Command (USCENTCOM) began delivery of humanitarian assistance ashore in Gaza. Today, a total of approximately 492 metric tons (~1.1 million pounds) of much needed humanitarian assistance was delivered to the people of Gaza," CENTCOM writes in a separate post on X.

The pier was repaired in the Israeli port of Ashdod before being brought back to the Gaza coast and reestablished on Friday.

‘Blatant lie’: IDF dismisses Hamas claim that other hostages were killed in today’s rescue
[IsraelTimes] An Israeli army front man denies a claim by Hamas front man Abu Obaida that some Israeli hostages were killed during the IDF’s rescue operation of four hostages late this morning.

"It’s a blatant lie," Israeli military spokesperson Peter Lerner told CNN
...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for...
