[Breitbart] Federal prosecutors have taken on a case regarding the 2021 murder of a National Guardsman in Chicago after Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s office refused to charge a gang member in the killing.
The victim in the case is identified as 19-year-old National Guardsman Chrys Carvajal, who was spending time with his family in 2021 for Fourth of July celebrations on the city’s Northwest Side, CWB Chicago reported Saturday.
Law enforcement asked for charges to be brought in the case, but prosecutors claimed there was insufficient evidence to do so and said the officers needed to have more proof. As a result, no one was ever charged with the killing.
“He was off serving and protecting our country. And for him to come home and not even a month of him being home, you killed my brother, and my family is broken. Our hearts are broken forever,” Carvajal’s sister, Jennifer Ramirez, said days after his death:
Per the CWB Chicago report, federal prosecutors have now taken over the case. The outlet continued:
On Friday, the Chicago U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that they have charged two Milwaukee Kings gang members with racketeering and murder in connection with Carvajal’s death. One of the men charged is the same man Chicago police tried to charge with murder in 2021, according to a source.
Carvajal had stepped away from the family gathering to get something from his car around 1:20 a.m. on July 4, 2021, when someone shot and killed him in the 2200 block of North Lockwood, officials said at the time.
The following month, detectives asked prosecutors in Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx to charge a then-38-year-old high-ranking Milwaukee Kings gang member with murder.
Although police reportedly had video footage, knew of eyewitnesses, and claimed the suspect’s car and phone were at the scene or nearby it when the murder occurred, those things were apparently not enough to move forward with the case.
In a press release on Friday, the United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Illinois announced two suspects had been indicted on the federal charges:
GARY ROBERSON, 40, and JOSEPH MATOS, 41, both of Chicago, are charged with racketeering and firearm offenses in an indictment unsealed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Chicago. The indictment accuses the pair of murdering Chrys Carvajal on July 3, 2021, for the purpose of maintaining and increasing their positions in the Milwaukee Kings street gang. Carvajal, 19, was fatally shot in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on Chicago’s Northwest Side.
…
Roberson was arrested last month and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was ordered to remain detained in federal custody pending trial. Matos is not in custody and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
If the suspects are convicted of the murder in aid of racketeering, they could spend the rest of their lives behind bars. In addition, the death penalty would also be an option, the CWB Chicago article noted.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]… and using the cash to buy diamond rings and a Rolls Royce.
The former assistant city attorney of Atlanta, who was also a life advice podcaster, has been jailed for seven years after fraudulently obtaining approximately $15 million in COVID relief loans.
Shelitha Robertson, 62, used the illegally gained funds to splash out on luxuries such as a 10 carat diamond ring, a Rolls Royce and a motorbike.
The former police officer had obtained the money under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), a federal stimulus program that was set up during the pandemic.
But only weeks before she was imprisoned, Robertson was still gleefully appearing on her daughter's 'Mommy & Me' podcast in which the pair would give their advice on dealing with the world - including advising listeners on how to earn money though hard work and 'integrity'.
But Robertson didn't follow her own advice and decided to make her money through deception, submitting one false loan application after another to the COVID relief scheme claiming she needed the cash to support four businesses she owned.
What she said in the loan documents was extraordinary, claiming she had a workforce of more than 400, meaning she was entitled to millions of dollars in handouts for each of the companies she claimed to run.
The DOJ also said she transferred funds to a co-conspirator, Chandra Norton, and other family members.
The pair had no such qualms about abusing such a scheme, even submitting false tax documents to back up their inflated income statements within each loan application.
A jury convicted Robertson of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering, with the judge sentencing her to seven years and three months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
Robertson will be almost 70 by the time she's released from prison, leaving her influencer daughter Brii, who has over 600,000 Instagram followers, without a podcast partner.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] The Republican nominee for governor in North Carolina Mark Robinson once insinuated the United States government was involved in both the attack on Pearl Harbor and the death of U.S. General George Patton as part of a conspiracy to help Joseph Stalin.
Robinson, who currently serves as the state’s lieutenant governor is now running in what is considered one of the most competitive governor races in the country in a state that is also a battleground in the presidential election come November.
In a 2018 radio interview, the host argued ‘Japan is the one who bombed us, but the most of our material, and effort went to Europe.’
‘Right. It really calls to question the motives and the suspicion around our entire introduction into the war, it really does,’ Robsinson responded. ‘It raises serious questions.’
It’s one in a long series of conspiracy theories Robinson indulged before getting into politics. He has also been accused over the years of a number of anti-semitic, homophobic and sexist comments.

1939+ lets see, Japan is making all type of threats against the USA. and we are also to toawrds them.
So DC puts 70% of Naval flee in a channel locked location accessible by the enemy.
Patton is the General that did it and is riding high on the Public opinion wagon. DC wants "Ike" (Eisenhower) though.
DC & the Rep's see he is a loose cannon and the DEM's want him. But with his openly expressed USSR remarks causes the DC Elite to worry of having a man of the people in office. Given the USSR & US Red 5th column situation brewing.

The Japanese battleship Yamamoto was not built in a day and did not use Japanese iron ore, because they didn't have any. Scrap iron was getting top dollar in pre-war USA. Japan went to war with China in Manchuria in 1931. Japan was obviously on the move.
From 1946 to November 1948, during the Tokyo Trial, the United States and Japan reached a secret deal, in which the United States obtained data on human experiments, bacteria experiments, germ warfare and gas experiments conducted by Unit 731 on the condition that the unit members were exempted from their war responsibilities. As a result, the Japanese germ war criminals escaped the Tokyo Trial.

But of course.
As for Pearl Harbor...all roads lead to perfidious Albion.
Moving the bulk of the Pacific Fleet from California to Pearl wasn't a good idea. Force projection of the Japanese was a lot simpler with the greatly reduced distance.
We were reading the Japanese code and knew they were going to attack - just not where. It was assumed that would be the Philippines.
Hawaii was on alert the weekend before December. That was stood down even though we had lost knowledge of where the Japanese home fleet was.
Even though we assumed it was the Philippines and they were warned upon the attack at Pearl, MacArthur and his staff allowed his airforce to be destroyed on the ground by refusing to take actions to disperse it or provide proper combat air patrol.

The actual key misstep of Pearl Harbor was used by Admiral Kimmel in his court martial defense.
While the Navy was in port, the Army was in charge of providing security. But the Army didn't see the Navy's communications, so didn't have a clue about the Japanese fleet.
"At Dawn We Slept" is a long read. Afterwards you'll know more than you wanted to about Pearl Harbor.
Examining a conspiracy theory is not the same as endorsing it.

Without getting too deep into the wherefores of the IJN's attack on Pearl harbor, read Falling Skies, Rising Sun.
In it, you will find out how the IJN got the drop on US forces, and how a lot of the strategic assumptions for "War Plan Orange" or "War Plan Rainbow," were just flat out wrong.

So now it’s bad if even if you don’t hold bad views but you once entertained them. It’s terrible if you shared a chunk of an Entenmenn’s Butter Loaf Cake with a 911 truth at your coffee table over a game of checkers.

When you've lost Politico....
[Politico via ZERO] While President Joe Biden has repeatedly insisted he has nothing to do with his family's business dealings - going so far as to say he's never so much as discussed them with relatives, a new report from Politico completely destroys that lie.
"I have never discussed, with my son or my brother or with anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses. Period," said Biden. "
"And what I will do is the same thing we did in our administration. There will be an absolute wall between personal and private [business interests] and the government. There wasn’t any hint of scandal at all when we were there. And I’m going to propose the same kind of strict, strict rules. That’s why I never talked with my son or my brother or anyone else — even distant family — about their business interests. Period."
As Politico notes, Joe Biden’s political journey, stretching back to his first Senate bid, has always been a family affair. His first campaign was significantly supported by his family, setting a precedent for how his personal and professional lives would intertwine. Throughout his career, Biden’s relatives have not only been a staple in his campaigns but have also engaged in business ventures that at times involved his political patrons, converting some business partners into campaign supporters.
A Chinese wall or ethical wall is an information barrier protocol within an organization designed to prevent exchange of information or communication that could lead to conflicts of interest. For example, a Chinese wall may be established to separate people who make investments from those who are privy to confidential information that could improperly influence the investment decisions. Firms are generally required by law to safeguard insider information and ensure that improper trading does not occur.
