Four people killed in Quetta firing

[Pak Daily Times] At least four people were killed and a woman sustained injuries in two separate firing incidents in the bustling provincial capital and Kalat district on Wednesday. According to the police, two persons were killed and a woman sustained injuries in the Killi Kamalo area of Quetta on Wednesday morning. According to sources, unidentified gunnies entered a house and opened fire on the inhabitants within. Resultantly, two people were killed on the spot and a woman sustained injuries. Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and the dear departed and the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital for an appointment with Dr. Quincy and treatment, respectively. The dear departed were identified as Jalil Ahmed and Pukar Khan and the injured woman as Samina Bibi. In a separate incident, two people were killed in the Dasht Guran area of the Kalat district, some 150 kilometres from Quetta. According to sources, unidentified gunnies on a cycle of violence opened fire on people in Dasht Guran. Resultantly, two was struck down in his prime. The attacker managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime. The dear departed were identified as Ahmed Jan and Kifayatullah. According to the police, the incident was caused by an old enmity. Separate cases have been registered and investigations are underway.
