| [Daily Signal via Gateway] Conservative scholar and historian Victor Davis Hanson has released a new video in which he talks about the situation in Los Angeles. Right out of the gate, Hanson suggests that California Governor Gavin Newsom has ’ruined’ whatever chance he had to be taken seriously as a national candidate. If that wasn’t true after the way he handled the wildfires, it certainly is now. Speaking more broadly, Hanson notes the optics of the situation and says it’s going to end badly for Democrats. | #6 A headline full of hope and backed by reason and evidence. I may be pessimistic, but I doubt it could so much as scratch the gleaming wax finish much less derail his efforts. They are 'democrats', not that the party has any coincident relationship with democracy or more to the point a democratic republic. They will do what they are told, PERIOD. How quickly did they drop Biden and crown Kamala-lala ding dong? As far as they are concerned nothing over rides orders from the proverbial yegg central. That way it doesn't even have to make any kind of objective sense. It's simply loyalty. Loyalty to some unhappy combination of whiter than white teeth, socialism, hair gel, and some catalog of deviant sexuality. As long as it sounds 'nice'. Small matter any type of functional reality repeatedly proven by history as long as they can competitively virtue signal. |
