| IDF thwarts another attempt to smuggle arms from Egypt via drone |

| [IsraelTimes] The IDF says it foiled yet another attempt to smuggle weapons into Israel from Egypt using a drone today. The drone had been identified crossing the border from Egypt into Israel before it was downed by troops deployed to the area. The drone was found to be ferrying 11 rifles and ammunition. The contraband and drone have been handed over to the police. In recent months, there have been frequent attempts to bring weapons and drugs over the Egypt border, as well as from Israel into Gaza, using drones. |
