[KhaamaPress] Pak forces killed nine TTP Lions of Islam in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, seizing weapons and intensifying operations amid rising regional security threats. Pak media, citing the country’s military, reported on Sunday that nine members of Tehrik-e-Taliban ![]() students... Pakistain (TTP) were killed in separate security operations across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. The Pakistain Army referred to the Lions of Islam as "India-backed Khawarij," a term often used to denote bully boy outlaws. According to Dawn News, the military launched three coordinated operations. In the first, four Lions of Islam were killed in Dera Ismail Khan ... the Pearl of Pashtunistan ... after an intense firefight. In the second, conducted in the Tank district, two suicide kaboomers were neutralized. The third operation in Bagh, Khyber district, resulted in the deaths of three more TTP members. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that arms and ammunition recovered from the Lions of Islam were previously used in multiple attacks in the region. The military emphasized that clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats and foreign-linked elements. These operations follow similar anti-militancy raids last week, during which 12 Lions of Islam from TTP and the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) were killed. Incidents were reported in Lakki Marwat, Bannu, and North Wazoo, where two soldiers also bit the dust during firefights with Death Eaters. Pakistain’s military has also accused India of backing murderous Moslem groups and using intelligence assets to destabilize the country. The accusations were reiterated last month by a military spokesperson, fueling ongoing diplomatic tensions between the two South Asian nations. While Pakistain’s security forces continue their counterinsurgency efforts, the persistent threat posed by TTP and affiliated groups highlights the fragile nature of regional security. The cross-border dimension of the conflict, including alleged external support, remains a pressing concern for Islamabad.
