”Mostly peaceful” protests. [IsraelTimes] Police are clashing with anti-government protesters outside Moshav Mazor, in central Israel, where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family are expected to celebrate Mimouna, the festival marking the end of Passover this evening.It’s a Moroccan thing, not something European/Ashkenazi Jews do. But the majority of Israel’s Jews are not from the West, so a wise Israeli politician would partake. Among the protesters is Yoram Yehudai, whose son Ron was murdered by Hamas terrorists at the Supernova music festival on October 7, 2023. Yoram sought to meet with Netanyahu, but was blocked by police, Ynet reports. |
