[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back Russian offensive in eastern and southern Ukraine.
The most active battles are being fought in the Pokrovsky direction. There, the occupation army is trying to advance in the areas of 10 populated areas.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been 85 combat clashes with the Russian invaders on the front. Fighting is currently ongoing in six directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report as of 16:00 on Thursday, April 10.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction , the Defense Forces repelled two enemy assaults near Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance four times in the direction of Peschanoye and in the area of ​​Zagrizovoye. Three combat clashes are ongoing.
Eight combat clashes occurred in the Liman direction . The enemy attacked near the settlements of Novoye, Yampolovka and in the direction of Dronovka, Grekovka, Olgievka, Kotlyarovka, Novomikhaylovka. Four battles are currently ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy carried out four attacks, three of which have already been repelled. The occupiers are trying to advance towards Grigoryevka and in the Belogorovka and Verkhnekamyansky areas.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped three enemy attacks near Belaya Gora and Kurdyumovka.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted to advance in the Druzhba and Toretsk areas 16 times. Three combat clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy initiated clashes of varying intensity 27 times towards Alexandropol, Sergeyevka, Kotlyarovka and near the settlements of Elizavetovka, Lysovka, Zvirovoe, Udachnoye, Preobrazhenka, Andreyevka, Bogdanovka. The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 22 attacks.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, two enemy assaults near the settlement of Konstantinopol and in the direction of Bagatyr have been stopped. One attack is still ongoing.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction , in the Privolnoye area, three military clashes have now ended.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy made two fruitless attempts to advance towards the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks by the invaders.
We remind you that on April 9, 149 combat clashes occurred on the front in 24 hours . At the same time, Russian losses exceeded 1,400 people killed and wounded.
