[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back Russian attacks in the east and south of Ukraine.
The Russian invaders continue to be highly active in the Pokrovsky direction. Fighting is taking place in the areas of 11 populated areas.
Since the beginning of the current day and as of 16:00, 62 combat clashes have occurred on the front, which is two times less than yesterday's figure for the same time. This is evidenced by the data published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, April 3.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, the Russian army attacked once in the Kamyanka area.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to advance in the Zagrizovoye area.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked five times near the settlements of Grekovka, Novoye, and in the direction of Novomikhaylovka, Zelenaya Dolina. Two combat clashes are ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, five assaults were repelled in the Verkhnekamyansky area and in the direction of Ivano-Daryevka and Vyemka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders successfully stopped the attack towards Predtechino.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked 13 times in the areas of Dachnoye, Druzhba, Dilievka, Toretsk and Leonidovka. Four combat clashes are still ongoing.
The enemy remains highly active in the Pokrovsk direction - 22 assaults in the areas of the populated areas of Novokalinovoe, Tarasovka, Elizavetovka, Zvirovoe, Udachnoe, Novosergeevka, Nadievka, Uspenovka, Andreevka and in the direction of Romanivka and Alexandropol. 10 of these battles are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are repelling four assaults in the areas of Razliv and Constantinople.
In the Orekhov direction, the enemy advanced forward six times in the areas of the settlements of Stepovoye, Malye Shcherbaki and Kamyanskoye.
In the Dnieper direction, the Russians carried out one unsuccessful attack.
Four enemy attacks have been stopped in the Kursk region .
We remind you that in the course of 24 hours on April 2, Russia lost almost 1,400 fighters killed and wounded. The total losses of the occupation army are approaching 1 million people.
