| [HodhodYemenNews] The Yemeni Armed Forces’ Air Defense Force successfully downed a United States MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e announced early Tuesday. Amid ongoing US aggression against Yemen, which has resulted in dozens of civilian casualties, the YAF targeted the hostile drone over Ma’rib governorate using a domestically manufactured surface-to-air missile, Sare’e stated. The strike marks the 16th confirmed downing of an MQ-9 UAV by the Yemeni Armed Forces since the Israeli aggression on Gaza began in late 2023. |
