| [IsraelTimes] Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has spoken by phone with US President Donald Trump and discussed efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine and to restore stability in Syria, Erdogan’s office says. It says Erdogan told Trump that the United States needs to finalize the F-16 procurement process and Turkey’s re-participation in the F-35 program to develop defense industry cooperation between the two countries.
