[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are engaged in heavy fighting in the east and south of Ukraine.
Almost half of the Russian attacks are aimed at the Pokrovskoe direction. Currently, 10 combat clashes are ongoing there.
Since the beginning of the current day, there have been 66 attacks by Russian aggressors on the front. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsky and Toretsky directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report as of 16:00 on Wednesday, March 12.
Thus, in the Kupyansk direction, the Russians attacked six times near the settlements of Petrovpavlovka, Stepovaya Novoselovka and Zagryzovo. One clash continues to this day.
In the Liman direction, our units repelled two attacks in the Mirny area.
Four armed clashes have been recorded in the Seversky direction. Fighting is still ongoing in the area of ​​Verkhnekamenskoye and Ivano-Daryevka.
In the Toretsk direction, there were nine enemy attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Druzhba and Ozaryanovka. Four combat clashes are ongoing.
The hottest situation is in the Pokrovsky direction : since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have already carried out 27 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vodyanoye Vtoroy, Yelizavetovka, Novotoretskoye, Promin, Dachenskoye, Novoukrainka, Shevchenko, Kotlino, Udachnoye, Novoaleksandrovka, Nadievka and Andreevka. The defense forces have repelled 17 assaults, 10 clashes are ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Russians launched an offensive six times near the settlements of Konstantinopol, Razliv and Burlatskoye. All attacks were stopped.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, our defenders repelled three attacks in the areas of Privolnoye and Novodarovka.
In the Orekhov direction, the invaders are attacking in the Pyatikhatki area and in the direction of Novoandreyevka. One attack was repelled, two more are continuing.
In Kursk region, according to currently available information, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled one attack by the Russian army.
We remind you that in the course of 24 hours on March 11, Russia lost more than 1,400 fighters killed and wounded. The total losses of the aggressor state by the end of March will exceed 900 thousand people.
