[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated Russian troops in the Sumy region
Every attempt by the enemy to enter the region’s territory from the Russian side is harshly neutralized using the means of destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The head of the Sumy OVA, Artyukh, stated that there were no Russian troops left on the territory of Sumy Oblast and that all attempts by sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG) to break through from Kursk Oblast had been eliminated by Ukrainian forces. He pointed this out on air during the telethon on Tuesday, March 11.
Artyukh emphasized that today not a single settlement is under the control of the Russians. Every attempt by the enemy to enter the territory of the region from the Russian side is harshly neutralized with the help of the means of destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Currently, there are no units of Russian troops in any populated area. Those isolated cases and those sabotage and reconnaissance assault groups that are trying to enter the territory of Sumy Oblast from Kursk Oblast are being destroyed by the appropriate means of destruction of our units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Forces," he added.
Let us recall that the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that Russian troops are trying to gain a foothold in the area of ​​the village of Novenkoye in the Sumy region and cut off logistics routes.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation, a mass breach of the border between Novyi and Zhuravka in the Sumy region has not been recorded at the moment.
Earlier, DeepState analysts showed the village of Novenkoye on the map as a "gray" combat zone.
