[Korrespondent] Ukrainian Armed Forces Contain Russian Attacks in Eastern and Southern Ukraine.
The enemy is most active in the Toretsk direction, but in the Kursk region the intensity of fighting has noticeably decreased.
Since the beginning of the current day, 84 combat clashes have occurred on the front in 12 directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in an operational report as of 16:00 on Monday, March 10.
Thus, in the Kharkov direction, our defenders repelled two assaults near Volchansk, one battle is still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance five times in the areas of Lozovaya, Petrovpavlovka, Stepnaya Novoselovka and Boguslavka, and was rebuffed.
In the Liman direction, the aggressor has increased the number of attacks to nine near the settlements of Novoye, Grekovka, Novomikhaylovka, Kolodezi, Zelenaya Dolina, Yampolevka, Novolyubovka and Torskoye. One battle continues.
In the Seversky direction, the enemy has made nine attacks, eight of which have already been repelled. Enemy units of the occupiers are trying to advance in the Belogorovka and Verkhnekamenskoye areas.
In the Kramatorsk direction there is one battle going on towards Belaya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, the aggressors tried to advance 16 times in the areas of Dachnoye, Kurdyumovka, Krymskoye, Druzhba, Toretsk and Shcherbinovka. Seven clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy initiated clashes of varying intensity 14 times. All attacks were repelled in the areas of the populated areas of Valentinovka, Elizavetovka, Promin, Lisovka, Pokrovsk, Udachnoye, Kotlyarovka, Alekseyevka and Andreyevka.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, our defenders repelled 14 attacks near the settlements of Konstantinopol, Razliv, Skudnoe, Burlatskoe and in the direction of Vesyoloye. Five clashes are still ongoing.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, three armed clashes have ended in the areas of Novosyolki and Privolnoye. Three more attacks by the invaders are continuing.
In the Orekhov direction, the Russians advanced five times near Novodanilovka, Pyatikhatki and in the direction of Stepnoye; three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to attack.
In Kursk region, Ukrainian troops repelled two Russian assaults.
