Head of FBI field office in New York *resigns* after the Department of Justice accused his office of hiding thousands of Epstein documents.
2025-03-04
[X) AG Bondi explains

I needed to put my retirement papers in today, which I just did. I was not given a reason for this decision," Dennehy said.

Dennehy had previously told his office to "dig in" after Trump was elected.

The resignation comes after AG Pam Bondi instructed FBI Director Kash Patel to launch an investigation into claims that the New York field office was hiding thousands of documents.

Bondi said a source came forward claiming the field office had thousands of pages of docs.

"I repeatedly questioned whether this was the full set of documents responsive to my request and was repeatedly assured by the FBI that we had received the full set of documents," Bondi said.

"Late yesterday, I learned from a source that the FBI Field Office in New York was in possession of thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein."

"Despite my repeated requests, the FBI never disclosed the existence of these files. When you and I spoke yesterday, you were just as surprised as I was to learn this new information."

#14  On a similar note ...

Not necessarily a DeNiro fan [I generally avoid all of his work since Rohin which was terrible] I was delighted with the conspiracy offering of "Zero Day" from Netflix.

Every troublesome little news link of the last decade was woven into a unforgiving web of Deep State deceit and treachery. No names named, but many actors/operatives and events are recognizable or theoretically offered thru some artistic license.

#13  Apparently AG Bondi and FBI Director Patel want to redact the names of the young female staff before releasing the formation into the wind.

#12  He was allowed to resign because they don't want to waste any resources prosecuting him. They have bigger fish to fry.

#10  why the FBI withheld all of those documents

It takes time to go thru the records, edit out whatever might cause discomfort at high levels, and print new originals that appear plausible and don't have embarrassing gaps.

#4  The truckload of files arrived at 8 a.m. last Friday, according to Attorney General Bondi. pFrom Skidmark’s Fox News link:

Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday night, Bondi confirmed that a "truckload" of Epstein files were delivered by the FBI after she gave the agency until 8 a.m. on Friday morning to deliver them.

"I gave [the FBI] a deadline of Friday at 8 a.m. to get us everything," Bondi explained. "And a source had told me where the documents were being kept, Southern District of New York, shock. So we got them all by Friday at 8 a.m."

"Thousands of pages of documents. I have the FBI going through them...and Director Patel is going to get us a detailed report as to why the FBI withheld all of those documents," she continued.
