The 1089th day of the Russian Federation's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 261 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.
This is stated in the morning briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 59 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 88 CABs. In addition, it carried out over four thousand attacks, 211 of them from multiple rocket launcher systems, and used 1,385 kamikaze drones to destroy them.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Ivolzhanske, Kyyanytsia, Dovga Balka, Krasne Pershe, Nova Balka, Pokrovsk, Oleksiivka, Rozlyv, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Verkhnya Tersa, and Kopany.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck six areas of concentration of the occupant's personnel, weapons, and military equipment.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our troops five times in the areas of Vovchansk, Tykhy, and in the direction of Kozacha Lopan.
The defense forces repelled enemy assault actions near Dvorichnaya, Petropavlivka, Stepovaya Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozovaya, and in the direction of Novoosynovoye in the Kupyansky direction, where 39 attacks by the invaders occurred in a day.
Over the past day, the enemy attacked 27 times in the Lyman direction. They tried to penetrate our defenses near the settlements of Zeleny Hay, Novoyehorivka, Hrekivka, Kolodyazi, Yampolivka, Terny, Torske, and Dibrova.
Ten enemy assaults were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Siversky direction, the occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Verkhnyokamyansky and Ivano-Daryivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders attacked 29 times in the areas of Predtechyny, Stupochy, Bila Hora, and in the area of ​​Chasovy Yar.
Nineteen attacks were carried out by the enemy in the Toretsk direction in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Diliyivka, and Krymske.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 71 attacks by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Vodyane Druge, Myrolyubivka, Yelizavetivka, Promyn, Lysivka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Andriivka, and Udachne.
The defense forces repelled 25 enemy attacks in the Novopavlivka direction. The occupiers tried to advance near the settlements of Zelenivka, Rozlyv, Novyi Komar, Novosilka, and Velyka Novosilka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders twice attacked the positions of our defenders in the direction of Novoandreyevka.
The Russians made eight fruitless attempts to advance in the Dnieper direction.
Over the past day, 15 clashes took place in the Kursk direction, the enemy launched 33 air strikes, dropping 49 guided bombs, and carried out 332 artillery attacks, including 11 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The invaders did not conduct active offensive operations in the Hulyaipil direction.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders last day amounted to 1,730 people. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized five tanks, 84 armored combat vehicles, 11 artillery systems, 36 operational-tactical UAVs, 77 vehicles and two units of special equipment of the invaders.
