#8 #4 it was wood to begin with, then plastic that was colored/textured like wood, the black or silver plastic. They cut out the labor involved in the wooden cabinets. The irony is you buy wooden cabinets to put the plastic TV in or on. |

#4 Yes, she's very nice. But I can't help noticing that was a more genteel era when phonographs and radios were fine furniture and not plastic boxes. For a few decades, television sets were that way too. Now they're just flat black screens hanging on the wall. |
