Migrants turn back home after Trump tightens border security: report

's crackdown on illegal immigration, according to a report from Fox News. This comes amidst Trump's actions to secure the southern border as well as pressure Canada and Mexico to police their own borders.

According to the outlet, an internal Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) memo indicated that there were two groups of immigrants colonists looking to cross the border illegally that ended their trek to the southern border and turned around to go back to their home countries.

A group of 23 immigrants colonists that were previously heading to the United States ran into Honduran officers on Wednesday. The group came from the countries of Honduras, Panama, El Salvador, and Venezuela

. The memo indicated that when the officers interviewed the immigrants colonists, they said they had to end their journey after "learning about the multi-agency force security on the Southwest Border in social media and through family members in the United States."

The CBP memos also noted another incident where on Feb. 3, Honduran coppers encountered a group of 26 immigrants colonists. They were also going to the US when they found out that Trump had tightened up security and was deporting illegal immigrants colonists.

#1  Migrants are turning back but the bad actors and drug mules are still going to come. The folks headed to brothels and slave labor are still going to be shipped in. The cartels will now try something else.
