| IDF chief says military must prepare for ‘significant operations’ in the West Bank |

| [IsraelTimes] IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi says the military must prepare for “significant operations” in the West Bank. “Along with the intense defense preparations in the Gaza Strip, we must be prepared for significant operations in Judea and Samaria in the coming days in order to preempt and catch the terrorists before they reach our civilians,” he says during an assessment, in remarks released by the IDF. Halevi also instructed top officers to “formulate plans for the continuation of the fighting, both in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon,” the IDF adds. |
