| Israel retains right to resume Gaza fighting, Netanyahu says |

| [GEO.TV] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the first stage of the ceasefire deal is temporary and that both US President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump will back Israel's right to resume attacking Gaza in the second phase of the deal. The PM added that if Israel returns to fighting, it will do it in "new, forceful ways" and he will not relent until all Israel hostages are released, as quoted by Al Jazeera. Netanyahu added that Israel will not allow "the arrival of any weapons" for Hamas. |
