| [IsrelTimes] Three protesters have been arrested for disturbing the peace and damaging vehicles that were passing by an anti-hostage deal demonstration in Jerusalem, according to a police statement. One of the suspects was arrested for spraying pepper spray at the protesters, police say. The protesters also blocked traffic, including emergency vehicles, and set a fire in the middle of the road, according to the statement. Opponents of the deal announced yesterday say its terms may endanger national security by releasing many convicted Palestinian terrorists while leaving some hostages in captivity and Hamas intact. |
