[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)'s factions stormed the office of Rashad al-Alimi, the head of ''Presidential Leadership Council'' at al-Maasheq Palace in Aden, southern Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
In my youth it was The People's Democratic Republic of Aden for this particular city in Yemen.
, according to informed sources.

The sources explained that the STC's elements entered the ''Presidential Council office'' at the palace, expelled the employees, and prevented them from returning to their offices.

They also mentioned that the storming and expulsion of the ''Al-Alimi office'' was ordered by the UAE after the factions took control of three gates of the Maasheq Palace at the end of December, following festivities with the ''Presidential Protection Battalion'' loyal to al-Alimi.

Recently, the labor unions loyal to the STC threatened that al-Alimi and government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition would not be allowed to return to al-Maasheq Palace in Aden, amid calls from to form a ''Southern Government'' in response to the economic collapse and the deterioration of various services.
