[Korrespondent] The Ukrainian Armed Forces are engaged in heavy fighting in the east and south of Ukraine.
Traditionally, the hottest part is in the Pokrovsky direction. There, Russians carried out 40 attacks in the areas of 21 settlements.
Since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 94 times. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational report as of 16:00 on Monday, January 13.
Thus, in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy twice advanced near Lozovaya and Dvurechnaya. Both clashes are still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, enemy units continued to attack in the areas of the settlements of Novosergeevka, Zeleny Gai, Pervomayskoye, Makeyevka, Zarechnoye and Terny. Our soldiers have already repelled nine attacks, and another clash is ongoing.
In the Seversky direction, three assaults near Belogorovka were repelled.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked 11 times in the area of ​​Chasovy Yar and Stupochki. Five more clashes are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, there were 12 enemy attacks in the areas of Belaya Gora, Krymskoye and Toretsk. One combat clash continues.
Traditionally, the hottest part is in the Pokrovsk direction : the invaders have already carried out 40 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Baranovka, Zelenoe Pole, Elizavetovka, Tarasovka, Novaya Poltava, Novotoretske, Lisovka, Mirnograd, Zelenoe, Novy Trud, Pokrovsk, Shevchenko, Udachnoye, Novovasilovka, Novoandreyevka, Slavyanka, Serebryanoye, Kurakhovo and Yantarnoye. The defense forces repelled 26 enemy attacks, 14 clashes are ongoing.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, the Russians launched five offensives near the settlements of Razliv, Vremovka and Neskuchnoye. Ten clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, 10 attacks by Russian troops were repelled.
Let us recall that on January 12, Russia lost more than 1,500 fighters . The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed almost 300 units of military equipment, including air defense and police assets.
