Nigerian troops repellled Boko Haram ambush in Borno last week, killed 34 insurgents

[MSN] The Nigerian military said on Wednesday its troops had killed 34 Islamist snuffies in a shootout in northeastern Borno state and six soldiers had also died.

The clash took place on Saturday in Sabon Gari village when the snuffies ambushed troops returning to a military base, military front man Major-General Edward Buba said.
