2025-01-09 |
[IsraelTimes] Eric Trager, a Republican staffer on the Senate Armed Services Committee, will reportedly become the next White House National Security Council senior director for the Middle East and North Africa. Trager, who previously worked at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, will replace Brett McGurk, who played a massive role in crafting outgoing US President Joe Biden’s Mideast policy, Jewish Insider reports. A "Total Success"... Trager has staked out hawkish foreign policy positions regarding the Middle East with his research focusing on Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood. |
