"The first operation using the Palestine-2 hypersonic missile was undertaken to attack a power plant," the report said.
In addition, the Houthis claim that they used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to strike a "military target" located in Tel Aviv. The Ansar Allah movement noted that both objects were successfully hit.
As reported by Regnum, on December 28, the Houthis said they had attacked the Nevatim air base in the Negev Desert in southern Israel with a Palestine-2 hypersonic missile. On December 31, the Ansar Allah movement reported that it had struck the US aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman using cruise missiles and drones.
On January 1, the Houthis claimed to have shot down a US-made MQ-9 Reaper drone over Yemeni territory. According to Ansar Allah military spokesman Yahya Sariyeh, the drone was in the airspace of Marib province. He claims that this is the second MQ-9 Reaper that the Houthis have managed to shoot down over Yemeni territory in 72 hours.
