According to the IDF, the Palestinian assailant accelerated his vehicle toward troops operating in the town. The IDF said that as he tried to flee, the soldiers opened fire and struck the suspect. One servicewoman was lightly injured in the incident, and she was treated at the scene, the army said, while not elaborating on when exactly she was struck. The soldier did not require hospitalization, though. The assailant was listed in serious condition, according to first responders. |
