[Korrespondent] Since the beginning of the day, 158 armed clashes have occurred on the front.
The enemy carried out 37 air strikes on Ukrainian territory (using, in particular, 43 KAB), used 808 kamikaze drones to destroy them, and also carried out more than 4,300 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
There have been 158 combat clashes on the front since the beginning of the day. The situation in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsk directions remained hot today, the enemy is also active in the Limansk, Vremivsk directions and Kurshchina. This is stated in the General Staff report on Friday, December 27.
In the Kharkov direction, the enemy attacked twice near Volchansk.
According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian defenders have killed and wounded 72 occupiers in this area today, as well as destroyed a tank, two artillery systems, an anti-tank weapon, four vehicles, three communications equipment and 29 UAVs, and also significantly damaged an armored combat vehicle and nine vehicles.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance toward our positions near Petropavlovka and Lozovaya five times during the day. Four enemy attacks were repelled by the Defense Forces. The battle is currently ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 20 times in the areas of Pervomayskoye, Novoyegorovka, Nadezhda, Terny, Torskoye, Zarechny, Dibrov and in the Serebryansky forest. Our soldiers repelled the attacks of the occupiers.
In the Seversky direction, the occupiers tried to advance forward four times in the Belogorovka area and in the direction of Vyemka, but were rebuffed.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the activity of the occupiers since the beginning of the day amounted to five combat clashes. Assault actions took place near Vremenny Yar, Belaya Gora and Stupochki.
In the Toretsk direction, our troops repelled ten enemy attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbinovka. All attacks were stopped.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has tried 52 times to penetrate our defenses in the Pokrovsk direction in the areas of Mirolyubovka, Luch, Vozdvizhenka, Lisovka, Dachensky, Novy Trud, Shevchenko, Novozavetovka, Novovasilovka and Volkovoye. We received a tough rebuff from our defenders.
According to preliminary information, today our soldiers neutralized 382 occupiers in this direction, 196 of them irretrievably. Four cars, a combat armored vehicle, a Murom-M surveillance system, an electronic warfare system, seven communications systems, a Lancet UAV and a motorcycle were destroyed.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the enemy attacked our positions 18 times. The greatest activity was shown in the areas of Petropavlovka, Slavyanka, Dachnoye and Kurakhovoye, where the Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks.
In the Vremivsky direction, our troops stopped 17 enemy attacks near Konstantinopolskoye, Razliv, Novy Komar and Novodarovka.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy continues to try to dislodge our units from their positions, where two unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian soldiers' positions were carried out within 24 hours.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 offensive actions by the invaders. Russian aviation carried out 15 strikes, using 18 guided aerial bombs on its territory.
The General Staff recognized the soldiers of the 79th separate airborne assault Tavricheskaya brigade, the 93rd separate mechanized brigade Kholodny Yar and the 414th separate brigade of unmanned aerial systems for their effective and professional combat work.
Let us recall that from February 24, 2022 to December 27, 2024, the total combat losses of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine amounted to approximately 782,510 people (+1,650 per day)
Let us add that recently the Ukrainian Air Force carried out a high-precision strike on a military-industrial complex facility in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
