Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line has increased to 128. The occupiers continue to use aviation, in particular dropping anti-aircraft missiles. The defense forces are holding the lines and taking the necessary measures to prevent a breakthrough of the defense.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The invaders continue to use artillery on the territories of the regions bordering the enemy. The areas of the settlements of Baranivka, Zarichne, Progress, Stepok, and Hirky in the Sumy region; and Kostobobriv in the Chernihiv region have come under enemy fire.
In the Kharkiv direction, there was one combat clash with Russian invaders in the Vovchansk area.
Five assault actions were recorded near Dvorichnaya, Pishchane, Kolisnykovka, and Lozova in the Kupyansk direction , three of these clashes are still ongoing.
In the Lymansky direction, the enemy is attacking in the areas of Novoyehorivka, Kopanky, Zeleny Gay, Makiivka, Terni, Yampolivka, Serebryanskyi forest and in the direction of Druzhelyubivka. In total, 19 clashes have been recorded in this direction since the beginning of the day, three of which are ongoing.
In the Siversky direction, our soldiers repelled one enemy attack in the Belogorivka area.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy attempts to advance near Stupochky, and one clash is currently ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops six times in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk and Shcherbynivka. Three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 35 times today in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Vozdvizhenka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Pokrovsk, Novyi Trud, Zelene and Novotroitske, seven clashes are ongoing.
In the Kurakhiv direction, our defenders repelled 14 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlivka, Slovianka, Yasenove, Kurakhivka, and Dachne. Seven enemy assaults have already been repelled by our defenders, and seven battles are still ongoing.
In the Vremivka direction, 17 enemy assaults were stopped near Konstantinopolske, Yantarny, Konstantinopol, Rozlyv, Veleka Novoselka, Novoselka, Blagodatne, and Vremivka, and eight more assaults are still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders successfully repelled two enemy attempts to advance towards Novodanylivka.
Sixteen combat engagements were recorded today in the Kursk direction , eight combat engagements are still ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out 266 artillery attacks.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Hulyaipil and Prydniprovsk directions since the beginning of the day.

Despite significant losses in manpower, the Russians are trying to break through the defenses of the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region from the flanks.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Khortytsia Regional Administrative District Viktor Tregubov, Ukrinform writes.
"In the Pokrovsky direction alone, in the last 24 hours, our defenders have stopped 60 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor. The enemy in this direction greatly outweighs in manpower.
Three Russian combined arms armies are concentrated against us - the 2nd, 41st, and 51st of the enemy's Central Military District. The fighting here is very fierce, because the Russian occupiers are throwing all available forces forward, trying to break through the defense of our troops," says Tregubov.
At the same time, the enemy army avoids a frontal assault on the city and tries to break through the defenses from the flanks, suffering losses.
"Ukrainian soldiers are showing extraordinary resilience and inflicting significant losses on the enemy. In the past day alone, our defenders have destroyed 261 occupiers, 133 of them irretrievably. A communications vehicle has also been destroyed. The invaders are not giving up attempts to break through to the city of Pokrovsk itself, but there are currently no battles or enemy DRGs in the city and its surroundings.
The enemy is simply trying to advance to the maximum distance to the outskirts of Pokrovsk and break through the left and right flanks of the Defense Forces in order to cover the city itself. Fighting in the city itself is a very unpleasant thing, so the enemy is trying to impose fighting on the outskirts in order to force the Ukrainian forces to retreat and avoid a frontal assault for themselves," Tregubov explained.
According to the General Staff, the situation in the Pokrovsky direction is difficult . Over the past day, the Defense Forces have stopped 60 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Myrolyubivka, Promenya, Lysivka, Novy Trud, Dachensky, Shevchenko, Vovkovy, and Novovasylivka.
