The Russians are most actively advancing in the Pokrovsky direction. There are currently 10 fierce battles taking place there.
Since the beginning of the current day, the total number of combat clashes on the front line has increased to 164. The battles are being conducted in 11 directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 16:00 on Monday, December 23.
Thus, three combat clashes took place in the Kharkov direction . An attack by Russians in the Volchansk area was repelled, and two more combat clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, five assaults by the invaders near Kondrashovka, Petrovpavlovka, Kolesnikovka, Lozovaya and Boguslavka have been stopped. Another seven battles are still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 17 times in the areas of Grekovka, Novoyegorovka, Zeleny Gai, Novaya Kruglyakovka, Tverdokhlebovo, Nadezhda, Novosergeevka, Terny and Ivanovka. Six combat clashes are still unfinished.
In the Seversky direction, our defenders repelled eight enemy assaults in the area of ​​Belogorovka and Grigorovka. Five combat clashes continue.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy stormed the area of ​​Stupochki, Chasovy Yar and Predtechino seven times. Two more combat clashes remain unfinished.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked 13 times near Dilievka, Dachnoye, Belaya Gora, Shcherbinovka and Toretsk. Six combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, in the areas of the settlements of Mirolyubovka, Dachenskoye, Novy Trud, Novotroitskoye, Zelenoe, Novoelizavetovka, Novoyelenovka, Novopustynka and Uspenovka, the enemy has already attacked 21 times since the beginning of the day. 11 attacks have been repelled. Fierce fighting is underway.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, seven enemy assaults have been stopped in the areas of the settlements of Kurakhovo, Petrovpavlovka, Solntsevka, Starye Terny and Andreyevka. Eleven combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Vremevsky direction, seven out of 18 Russian assaults continue near Novodarovka, Dachnoye, Konstantinopolskoye, Konstantinopol, Razliv, Razdolnoye, Novy Komar and Novosyolka.
In the Gulyai-Polye direction, our defenders repelled one enemy assault in the Belogorye region.
In the Orekhov direction the enemy attacked unsuccessfully four times.
The General Staff does not provide information on the number of battles in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. However, it is noted that the Russians carried out 237 attacks on the territory of the Kursk region, including 24 from multiple launch rocket systems.
