| [IsraelTimes] Arab media reports that the Syrian transitional authority will be headed by Mohammed al-Bashir, who ran the administration in a small pocket of rebel-held territory before the 12-day lightning offensive that swept into Damascus and toppled the Assad regime yesterday. Bashir is reportedly meeting with outgoing Syrian prime minister Mohammed al-Jalali in Damascus, who said yesterday that he would cooperate with "any leadership chosen by the Syrian people." |
