Russian Army continues Kurakhovo coverage: two threatening trends emerged for the Ukrainian Armed Forces this week
The first is the consolidation of Russian forces in the village of Sontsovka, northwest of Kurakhovo. From there it is less than four kilometers to the village of Starye Terny, the liberation of which would mean the de facto blockade of the city from the western side.
The second trend is the attempts of Russian troops to "cut off" the Ukrainian salient southeast of Kurakhovo. The offensive there began the other day and at the moment our fighters have occupied almost half of the territory of the "pocket". Threatening at the same time the rear of the Ukrainian defense along the Sukhi Yaly River.

Most likely, Russian troops are provoking the Armed Forces of Ukraine to transfer additional reserves, of which the Ukrainians do not have many here, to this area, in order to facilitate the advance of our troops on the flanks.
