[Regnum] According to Roshydromet forecasts, heavy snowfall, blizzards in some areas, winds with gusts of up to 12–14 m/s, and icy roads are expected in Moscow from the evening of November 3 until the morning of the following day. This was warned by the press service of the capital's Emergencies Ministry.
In this regard, the agency recommends that when driving in bad weather, you reduce your speed and increase the distance from the vehicle in front. You should avoid sudden overtaking and lane changes, and do not park your car near trees.
Pedestrians are advised not to walk under billboards and shaky structures, and not to take shelter from bad weather under trees. They should also be careful and not leave children unattended, the ministry's website says.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, leading specialist of the Phobos weather center Evgeny Tishkovets reported about the imminent warming in Moscow. According to him, at the end of the week the air temperature in the capital will rise to +5…+10°С, instead of snowfalls there will be rain, and all the fallen snow will melt.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand warned that from November 3 to 5, the weather is expected to deteriorate in the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts. According to the forecast, the wind in Kabardino-Balkaria will reach 30 m/s, in other regions - up to 25-27 m/s.
