Pentagon releases $29.8 billion cost of secret military intelligence budget
2024-11-02
[JustTheNews] That's a nearly 7% increase over last year's top line budget, which was $27.9 billion for fiscal year 2023.
Freedom isn’t free. But I bet Elon Musk could cut it significantly if President Trump and VP JD don’t get there first.

Yes, they hated Flynn and thouht not much better of Alexander and Zippy. Distributed Common Ground System Army (DCGS-A) was a costly contractor dependent abortion.

I'll stop short of calling Palantir an analytical penicillin, but the young troops certainly thought highly of it, and where is the proprietary POS DCGS-A today? Spit.

#4  Spoken like an old school alumni B, my era skill set was peaked in the time of grease pencils, paper maps, acetate drops, tacks and thread!

#2  After 9/11 our military found that the IC was useless as a source of info during military ops in c.f. Iraq. So they ramped up their own program, with GEN Flynn taking the lead and facing the fury of the Beltway. Thiel's Palantir helped them enormously, again working around a massively costly, late, and ponderous Army info system that embedded top down control of analyses.

Hence this budget vs that of the DNI.
