[Korrespondent] Ukrainian defenders steadfastly hold back the onslaught of Russian invaders.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 55 assault actions by the Russians, and in the Kurakhovsk direction - 20 attacks.
The situation at the front remains difficult. Over the past 24 hours, 187 combat clashes have been recorded. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning report on Friday, October 25.
In the Kharkov direction, Russian troops carried out eight assaults near the settlements of Volchansk and Staritsa. In the Kupyansk direction, there were 14 attacks by the invaders in one day. The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Golubovka, Peschanoye, Lozovaya, Kruglyakovka, Novoosinovoye, Kolesnikovka and Vishnevoye.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 23 times. They tried to penetrate the defense near the settlements of Druzhelyubovka, Yekaterinovka, Grekovka, Tverdokhlebovo, Terny, Zarechnoye, Torskoye and Serebryanka.
In the Seversky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one assault by Russian invaders near Vyemka. In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked twice in the areas of Chasovy Yar and Predtechino.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 55 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Mirolyubovka, Krutoy Yar, Novotoretskoye, Lysovka, Krasny Yar, Nikolaevka, Sukhoy Yar and Mikhaylovka. The main efforts of the enemy attacks were concentrated in the direction of the settlements of Selidovo and Luch.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 20 attacks. The occupiers most actively tried to advance near Novodmitrovka, Zvezdnoye, Kremennaya Balka, Novonikolayevka, Maksimilyanovka, Antonovka, Yekaterinovka, Konstantinovka, Novoselidovka and Ostroye.
In the Vremovsky direction, the enemy carried out eight assaults on our positions in the areas of Bogoyavlenka and Novoukrainka. He actively used bomber aircraft to strike in the direction.
With the support of aviation in the Orekhov direction, over the past 24 hours, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces four times near Novodanilovka and Novoandreyevka. Three times, the invaders unsuccessfully tried to displace the Ukrainian units from their positions in the Dnieper direction.
Over the past 24 hours, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one UAV control point, an ammunition depot, four personnel concentration areas, an air defense system, four enemy artillery systems and another important occupier facility.
Let us recall that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,630 occupiers . Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army has lost 685,910 soldiers.
