[IsraelTimes] Hebrew media reports say that one of the two people killed in a strike on a car in Damascus was responsible for transferring arms from Iran to Hezbollah.

The unsourced reports do not name him, but say that he is the third person to be killed holding that position.

Syria blames Israel for Damascus strike, says 2 killed
[IsraelTimes] Syria’s defense ministry says two civilians were killed in an Israeli strike that targeted a vehicle earlier in the day.

“At approximately 17:05 pm (1417 GMT), the Israeli enemy launched an air strike targeting a civilian car in the residential neighborhood of Mazzeh in Damascus, killing two civilians and injuring three,” the ministry says in a statement.

It does not identify the dead.

There is no immediate comment from Israel.

[IsraelTimes] IDF Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari confirms that Israel carried out an airstrike in Syria today. Hagari says it targeted the head of Hezbollah’s financial arm responsible for funneling cash from Iran to Hezbollah. Hagari does not name him, but says he has only been in the position a few weeks since his predecessor was killed.
