[IsraelTimes] A drone launched from Iraq at Israel was shot down by Israeli air defenses near the southernmost city of Eilat.According to the IDF, the drone was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace. No sirens sounded amid the incident. The military says the drone headed toward Israel “from the east,” a term used to refer to Iraq. The Iran-backed Islamic Resistance in Iraq takes responsibility for the incident, saying it launched a drone at a target in Eilat.
