About 20 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions suffered from artillery and mortar shelling. In addition, the Russians struck Kucherovka, Shalygin, Obody, Esmane, Studenko and Revyakin with UABs.
Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In total, 68 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day. Russians are actively attacking in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhovsky directions. This was noted in the General Staff report on Sunday, September 29.
There was one combat clash in the Kharkov direction. The enemy stormed the defensive lines of our units near Volchansk. The invaders also carried out two air strikes on Volchansk and Muravskoye.
In the Kupyansk direction, six battles have been fought since the beginning of the day. The enemy carried out offensive actions near Vishnevoye, Kucherovka, Kruglyakovka and Lozovaya. At present, two attacks by the occupiers are continuing.
Seven combat clashes took place in the Liman direction. The enemy stormed near Makeyevka, Zarechny, Belogorovka and Nevsky, where the battle continues. In addition, the invaders launched six NARs into the Novoegorovka area.
Four combat clashes took place in the Kramatorsk direction. Russian troops tried to storm our positions at Chasovy Yar and Belaya Gora, where one attack is still ongoing. In addition, the invaders launched 18 NARs at Chasovy Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians tried to displace our units from their positions near Shcherbinovka, Toretsk and Nelipovka. Half of the clashes have been completed, three are ongoing. The aggressor's aviation also dropped UABs near Katerinovka and Toretsk, and launched 24 NARs at Druzhba.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 13 assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Mirolyubovka, Novotoretskoye, Nikolaevka, Lisovka and Selidovo. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the onslaught of Russian troops and have repelled 11 attacks, two battles are ongoing. The enemy's losses in this direction are being clarified.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the invaders attacked 17 times near Tsukurino, Alexandropol, Georgievka, Bogoyavlenka, Yekaterinovka and Konstantinovka. Thirteen attempts to advance were repelled, four are still ongoing.
In the Vremovsky direction, the enemy stormed our positions 11 times near Ugledar, Bogoyavlenka, Yekaterinovka and Yelizavetovka. Nine battles have been completed, two are still ongoing. In addition, using aviation, the invaders fired NARs at the areas of the settlements of Rivnepol, Novodarovka and Zolotaya Niva.
Three combat clashes took place in the Orekhov direction. The enemy carried out offensive actions in the Novodanilovka area. The enemy also carried out three air strikes on Zaporizhia and Malaya Tokmachka.
While in other areas the operational situation is currently unchanged.
Let us recall that from February 24, 2022 to September 29, 2024, the total combat losses of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine amounted to approximately 651,810 people (+1,170 per day).
